Puerto Iguazu hotels & accommodations

The Sheraton is perfect in its location. You reach the Iguazu Falls trails in 5 minutes walking, just down the hill. Plenty of great nature trails around and you can access the park early morning before all the tour groups show up. Once they arrive, around 10am, it makes it impossible to take a picture without at least 10 other people in it. It is so convenient to ...

A decent hotel with everything you need for your stay at Iguazu. The staff was helpful and always ady to explain about the area and good places to eat. I liked that it is a walking distance to the small town, rather than one of the hotels along the road towards the Airport.

The suite is very spacious with good kitchen facility to cook your own meals. The fact that it is situated next to a river, having breakfast in the deck was a great pleasure. It is 10-15 minutes walk to the town. Definately recommend for travellers especially family.

Lisi is an amazing host, she made us feel like family instead of just hotel guests. When we first arrived I left my bank card at the airport ATM. Lisi quickly called the airport police and within a short time she had located my card and had a taxi driver bring it to the hotel! I was so grateful! Throughout our stay she was always giving us great advise on how to get to...

Very friendly staff, unfortunately not all of them spoke English but that wasn’t issue at all by using Google translate which they were very familiar with. Good location from which you could easily arrange a day trip to Iguazu Falls by taxi – don’t think I wold pay for travel agency again as is very easy to sort it on your own. Basic selection for breakfast but at lea...

breakfast choice was limited and got rather tedious by 3rd day, bread was stale every day (although i found that argentina doesn't do good bread generally) staff were very friendly but spoke limited english so have a few phrases pre-translated prior to going. beds were comfortable & room/bathroom was good size

very nice location and big apartment for 4 people. New bathroom. TV; kitchen with amenuties to cook. wonderful lndlord ththelped us booked taxis to the falls and advised us where to go and at wht time. I would strongly rcommend the place. close to supermarket, laundry and restaurant; try la Rueda- great food Debby

The hotel is located on the main road and therefore easy access with bus to the falls, airport and city center. The food, although not top quality was still cheaper and better than what the city center offered. The staff were very friendly and very very helpful. The cocktails at the hotel pool were cheap too!

The grande dame is starting to show her wrinkles. Cataratas Hotel, km 4 of Rte 12 en route from Puerto Iguazu to Iguazu Falls, Argentina, was obviously the place to be 50 years ago, and perhaps even ten years ago, but now it is need of a facelift and modernization. That said, the food is good and the taxi driver we got ended up being THE number one great experience o...

The room was clean and quiet; a good recreation after the noisy hotel in Buenos Aires. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but should be available earlier than 7:00 a.m. The location of the hotel is central close to the bus terminal. All sights of Puerto Iguazu can be reached by walking. Nice garden and swimming pool.

The hotel is very beautiful and clean. Located about 20-30 minutes walk from the city center and the bus terminal. Breakfast was good. On the down side: hotel room was very humid. The air conditioning didn't change a thing to that problem. Also during our stay we asked 2 questions (in english) to employes and for the both Their answer was incorrect (I guess they don'...

there are not many great hotels in the iguazu area but loi suites really stands out from the moment you enter the property. the design is top notch with a lobby featuring soaring ceilings and a stunning pool with trees in the center of it. it is actually three separate pools that are connected to one another. the staff is very friendly and the second floor restaurant i...

The Panoramic has been in Iguazu for ages and has the arguably best location in the city (excluding the Sheraton outside the city). Unfortunately, the general attitude of the has that certain "we don't really need you, we have managed fine for years" attitude inherited in most employees, which is quite sad because the place does have a lot of potential. The breakfas...

Many people would opt for a hotel closer to the falls, but this hotel is very close to town, if you like to explore a good places to eat and enjoy the good wine, do some shopping, I would recommend it. Argentine side of the falls is very safe, and the people are friendly, I felt very comfortable walking around the town, even at night.

Great hotel on the way to the falls. Rooms were large but slightly noisey balong the main road so ask for one at the back if possible. Lovely pool area and free wifi for guests to use. Hotel staff were excellent and helped us book trips and bus tickets, they could also speak excellent English which helped us. Good value hotel with small bar.

This place used to be called Hostel Inn. It's the perfect place to stay for your Iguazu experience. The guys at the reception will greet you with the warmest welcome and biggest smile, genuinely happy you have arrived safely to their place and will give you all the time to explain how everything works and what's around in excellent English. The place is big ,the rooms ...

We liked the location of the place, but found the place relatively expensive. They did provide pretty nice breakfast & a rustic ambience to the whole place. We just weren't too satisfied with one of the service of the front desk, who literally slam down the phone & ignored us when we decided not to take the taxi from them.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Iguazu Falls. The hotel is easy to find and spacious. It came with all the little amenities that you would expect and the staff were very helpful. They have great free wi-fi in the rooms and a computer in the lobby that they charge for. It was a 5 minute walk to the main bus station. It was too cold when we were there bu...

If u cannot get a room at the cataratas or sheraton hotels within the national park - this is a good option - coz provides a view of the intersection of 3 countries paraguay, brazil and argentina from the river view rooms, interesting. But hotel is very poorly maintained - toilet seats are absolutely discolored, bathrooms look worn n old. no complimentary bottle of w...

Clean, place with helpful staff, with a choice between comfortable hotel rooms and cute bungalows, we were in a triple hotel room. On site restaurant was good for dinner after a long day walking the waterfall trails and served excellent breakfasts to set you up for the day before hand. Really great location near to Three Frontiers and overlooking the river with lovel...

Stayed for 4 nights with 2 young kids (2 and 5). The room was large with a king size bed on the mezzanine and 5 single beds on the ground floor plus a little table and 3 chairs. We also had a shower bathroom. The beds are comfortable and we slept very well. The terrace outside the mezzanine is lovely and for us, gave a feeling of jungle as we were surrounded by trees. ...

I wouldn't go there again! The 1st room they assigned me was flooded, I can back at the end of the day with wet bed sheets and everything in my backpack wet I ncluding a pool of water in my shoes. The staff was nice, they changed my room but the second room smelt like sewage so bad that I woke up at 2 am coughing, had to open the door and window for the whole night...

The owners of these appartments were great. They made me feel incredibly welcome and and were most helpful. The apartment it self was really clean and tidy with good facilities, and a few little extras (packets of sugar, salt, sauces for if you're cooking there. it's also in a position close to the bus station for the falls, Brazil or onward travel in Argentina. Also I...

Owed and run by a family who recently purchased this guest house, it was perfect for us who didn't want to be in a giant hotel. Although it is several blocks off of the main road it is still walking distance to several great attractions and the son drives a taxi as well for longer excursions if you do not have a car of your own. We were allowed full use of the facil...

The staff didn't speak English but easy enough check in & out. I realise this is a budget hotel but you would probably get better value & comfort staying at a hostel and have change left over. Short walk to local shopping / restaurant areas and easy enough to book tours to the falls.

the rooms are large and clean, with air conditioning (ac). the staff was very friendly and helpful, offering to arrange a tour if i wanted one, but also trying their utmost to help me with everything i requested. the location is about 2 blocks from the main puerto iguazu bus terminal, with buses to iguazu falls, the airport, and elsewhere. things to be aware of:...

We felt like home, Lorena expected us and treated us as we were friends coming to visit. She even made dinner for us. Helped us with our trips to Iguazu, both the Argentinian and Brazilian side. Organised us the transfers and gave us tips what to do and don't do.

Outstanding stay! We had two nights in a beautiful hotel surrounded by jungle. The hotel is located in an indigenous reserve called 600 hectares. The area has small, secluded boutique hotels as well as an indigenous village with an artesan crafts market. We felt we were far from the town but were only ten minutes away. The hotel is near the bridge to Brazil or the ferr...

Hotel was expensive for the facilities provided although most hotels near Iguazu Falls are overpriced. Quiet tropical surrounds with excellent pool. Very nice restaurant nearby. Town shopping a good 2km walk away. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, used translator on computer to communicate in English.

Lovely. Small hotel with lovely helpful staff. Driver who picked us up from hotel rene was absolutely lovely and we used him to take us to iguazu falls and over the border to Brazil. Very knowledgeable and great value for money. Very close to one of the best restaurants in town with live music and great steaks. Would definetly stay here again

Very cute and simple bed and breakfast, owned by lovely people who would go extra mile to help you and make your stay even better. Place is really looked after, very clean rooms, beautiful garden where you can enjoy your breakfast. I would recomend.

The staff was tremendous. They call for taxis, food delivery (since they only serve breakfast), and were able to recommend a place to get a better exchange rate. The WiFi was fast, but it didn't work the first day. The hotel had a lot of mud in the rooms, on the sheets, and on the towels. This was on the clean linens/towels. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk to ...

Located perfectly from the bus station, town supermarket, bars, restaurants and atm. Extremely convenient apartment with small things like usb sockets that really make a difference after a long day at the falls. The TV with netfix a cool touch and the bed is super comfortable. The apartment was genuinely nicer than some of the "4" star hotels we stayed in during...

We stayed for two nights after arriving from the local airport, we had arranged a pick up via taxi through Iguazu flower gardens, there son who speaks good English was there for us. He told us about the area and the hotel and gave us general direction so we could get our bearings. The hotel is in a private garden about 1 km from the town proper. It's quite and feels ve...

The stay was really good. The staff were friendly and used google translate with the language barrier. One complaint would be that the taxes were not quoted from agoda at time of booking or on the confirmation. That extra 21% changed the total cost a good amount. Other than that a great stay.

The floor I stayed reeked of plastic deteriorating. Hotel is located in the midst of nowhere. They charge you for drinking water even at the hotel buffet. There is absolutely no hot water in the shower. The toilets stinks. In room air conditioner was very noisy. Electricity brown out is a frequent occurrence. Cooks possibly don't want customers to know that hote...

The hotel is in a great location close to the Argentina side of the Iguazu falls. The facility is clean with restaurants and rooftop pool and bar. Rooms were large with modern amenities and a large glass window with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was great. Close to supermarket, Brazilian border only 2 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again. DZTraveler

We really have mixed feelings about our stay. Pros: - Marco (manager of the place?) was genuinely kind, c and extremely helpful. He really saved our stay despite all the issues we had, always trying to fix them quickly. - food prepared by the cook (Lilly?) was excellent. Probably the best breakfast we had in Argentina. And we also had 2 great dinners there with homema...

The price value could not be beat! After seeing the other accommodations in Iguazu, my husband and I were so happy we chose this resort. The pool was beautiful, service was great, and there is a beautiful nature walk on the facilities where saw humming birds! Not a late night bar scene if that’s what you’re looking for.
Real reviews for hotels
It is a tropical city: humid and hot. Lot of insects, so get yr insect repellant ready. U will see lot of homeless kids, is a very sad sight.
Visiting the falls from both Brazil and Argentina is a very different experience. Highly recommended to make the effort, spend another day and visit the other side too!
The only interest is to visit the waterfall. Than you have to escape from the poor and dirty Argentina city.
except the waterfall, the others place not valued to visit.i prefer u go to brazil instaed stay in this town
