Best hotels & accommodations in Pushkar

The location is excellent. Surrounded by the hills. We were fortunate to experience rains during our stay. Special thanks to the Management for the Complimentary Upgrade. The pool is well maintained (Just a few tiles chipped and a few people floating around without proper swimming costumes). Breakfast on day 2 was great and on day 3 was equally avoidable. A few more Bi...

We booked in here for 3 nights as we are travelling India on our honeymoon so thought we would splash out on some luxury accommodation whilst we were here. Great sized room and super comfortable bed, great sized shower although the bath tub was a lot smaller than expected only fitting 1 adult in it. The room was quite luxurious, nice sized balcony to sit out on. We c...

This property is just excellent but not at all managed by professional people, The location is quite scary as there is no connectivity of public transportation, every time you need to pay huge amount to hotel to go the main city which is just 3-4 kms away. Roads are very poor no connectivity of signals even, they should recruit professional educated staff to maintain ...

We have been to Pushkar before and this time wanted somewhere that was central but with a good standard, such a thing can sometimes be difficult to find. We found our stay very pleasant and the staff more than accomodating. Best part was the shower which was fantastic and very powerful. Needed in the dusty streets of Pushkar. If I had to make one grumble it would be th...

What a fun place! Very atmospheric old house feel with vines hanging down the full 5 story open courtyard where the central fountain/pool is filled with flower. Infused with positive Pushkar energy. The rooftop restaurant is a lovely open view setting. The Pineapple Mint juice in the morning was incredible. Only about a 5 minute walk to the lake, while it's set next ...

My husband and I spent one night at the Greenhouse Hotel during our 8 days tour in Rajasthan and we wish we could stay for one more night. We were charmed by the hotel the moment we walked in and we had a room upgrade which was a big bonus. The room was wonderfully decorated, modern with stylish wooden furniture (incl. 4 poster bed). Huge modern bathroom. The room c...

It is a heritage haveli in Pushkar. Quite nearby Pushkar lake, lake is visible from its terrace. Rooms are quite specious, clean. Washrooms are clean and have latest fittings. Its approach is little off road. Breakfast was just average. Staff - i'd say, not good, not bad. It can be a preferred place in Pushkar, if available anywhere below Rs 2500 per night.

We ended up staying over a week here as it was such a nice place to chill and relax. The guys at the front desk will assist with any tour around Pushkar you may be interested in or any onward travel arrangements you may need. On the roof top there is a restaurant run by the awesome restaurant manager Sunlight who offers fantastic service and delicious food. Highly r...

Sajjan Bagh is a budget hotel with large rooms and a good view near the mountains. The food is good and the staff is also good. Cleanliness could be an issue but since the staff is friendly there is no issue faced. It's good for 1 or 2 days of stay. There could be more guidance provided by the manager on what all to see at Pushkar. If the manager ensures that pillow c...

Great overall experience staying at orchard, pushkar. We were two couples with an infant each & stayed for couple of nights (25th dec'14). Luxury tents are one of a kind and completely equipped with amenities including electric blankets, standalone heaters, a spacious WC & no TV #Win. Evenings were fantastic with bonfire & BBQ snacks. Food was simple and home like. Alt...

We went for the camel Fair, so location was prime and way more affordable than the desert tent options(very close to the fair grounds). There is no restaurant in the actual hotel but they own a really nice garden restaurant across the street (great place to eat and not inflated prices- even have southern cuisine). It's not in the center of town, but you can easily walk...

The resort is in a peaceful spot a few minutes away from the centre of the town. We hired a bike which made it an easy commute. We had a deluxe room with possibly the best view of the surrounding fields and hills. Initially we loved the room with its little balcony but within minutes we discovered the bedside lights did not work and there was no hot water and few plug ...

Check-in was quick. There was staff to help me with taking my luggage to the room. Wifi Internet was reliable though not too fast. Huge room, very clean rest room, Hot water 24 hours a day. There was a balcony kinda of space where you could sit and relax which was nice. I loved the staff who were always around, always smiling and always ready to help. I stayed for 6...

We spent 4 nights in this hotel... the only thing I regret is not to stay longer! There we've had our best hotel experience since we arrived in India, EVERYTHING was just great : the rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable, the view on the rooftop restaurant is just amazing and food (prepared by my new friend Denis!!) is delicious, even for those like me who do...

We enjoyed our stay. Our room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom had plenty of hot water for showers, just be sure to flip the switch on the wall for the water heater. The room had a ceiling fan which kept the room cool and the screens on the window meant we could keep our windows open at night. Meals are provided at the restaurant on the rooftop, breakfast was good...

Our stay was very nice. My friend was ill for much of the time we were in Pushkar and I was so grateful that we had such a quiet, comfortable hotel with such warm and helpful staff. When it was obvious my friend wasn't improving the owner called for a doctor who came and assessed her and provided her with appropriate treatment. The location was perfect in that it is ...

The main reason we chose this hotel was because of the swimming pool. When we arrived and saw that the pool was green and dirty we were a bit turned off. We booked the cheapest room, which was nice but when we arrived the sheets were used and we had to change them. Since the hotel is a bit far from the center (around 1.5km) and there are no restaurants around we had t...

If you want to stay with a glass wall between you and India, this might not be the place for you. If you would like to sit directly above one of the bathing ghats as morning ablutions are performed, while gongs and bells from one side of the Lake are answered by chanting from the other side, if in evening twilight, the sound of drumming pleases you, if you are tempted...

Probably one of the best options to stay in if you find yourself in Pushkar. It's walking distance to the lake and brahma temple. Fast wifi and simple, clean rooms, but no breakfast and a bit pricey by local standards. Best to email them beforehand to confirm your booking.

Stayed in their private room. Wow. It was massive. A comfy bed with really nice soft and good quality bedding. A big bathroom with a big shower which worked and was hot. The air con worked and wasn’t nosy. Probably one of the best (if not the best) room we had in our month in India (and two of the hotels we stayed were 5 star). Staff were helpful - especially the ma...

Really nice hotel with a fabulous pool. Nice seating area outside room, lovely garden and well maintained pool. Good quiet location away from noise of the town. Extremely spacious rooms with good aircon. Decor could do with a little updating. The bathroom was generally clean except for the basin which needed a good wipe around. Staff could be a bit bit busier tidying u...

The place is beautiful, quite clean and the dorm were we stayed is spacious, comfortable and pretty organise. The staff is absolutely amazing, so helpful, kind, really good service. I really recommend enjoying your time in Pushkar in this wonderful place.

The plus points are that it is in a quiet location a little outside the town and there is hot water. However, there are some things to note. The mattress was the second worst I have experienced in India. Absolutely rock solid. The acoustics are poor so you can hear everything going on outside, including the trance music played constantly by the staff. There is no ...

Room deluxe double bed. Pros : very clean, very nice staff, able to arrange late check it, bargained a good price on my stay, nice terasse on the roof top, 1 small clothes line to dry my handwashed clothes, wifi, hot water showers, towel included. Cons : the food served in the restaurant was very yummy but NOT everything is organic. Saying all your foods are organic i...

Very nice, clean family run guesthouse..rooms are new, well ventilated and cool..breakfast with nice views of the mountain were my favourite..the guesthouse is outside the main centre but really close to walk in and hang by the lake..trilok is always there to help also..

We loved Pushkar so much we decided to stay an extra night at Hotel Kanhaia Haveli. The room was clean and airy, beds were comfortable and clean, and the staff were always so friendly and helpful. There were many little corners to just chill out around the hotel, with rocking chairs, swinging chairs, and the rooftop had just an amazing view! My only complain is that we...

This was a great budget hotel, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with nice painted design touches. The roof top restaurant served good food at a good price with views across the city, tortoises running around and the odd monkey visitor. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranging a taxi for us to Ajmer at a competitive price and also helping us to send ...

We are staying here now through the pushkar fair so rates are all pretty high every where. For the cost of this place when the fair is not on it is such a bargain! The rooms are clean, basic and there's hot water. The real seller though is the garden it's huge, clean and beautiful. The sunny rooms are the best. Great to sit out on the balcony and chillout from all the ...

It was a great stay in hotel Navaratan. The hotel is situated in immediate visinity to the major attraction of Pushkar i.e. The Brahma Temple and also its main gate opens in the main and busiest street approaching to brahma temple. The best part of this hotel is the cooperative behaviour of the hotel manager mr. G.L. Prajapati and services are really praiseworthy. Th...

This is the place to stay in Pushkar. Although we had booked for Deluxe Rooms, on arrival the hotel staff immediately offered us a free upgrade to Super Deluxe Rooms. They made every effort to make us comfortable and feel at home. We had arrived very late in the evening and wanted to offer puja the next morning – hence the staff happily arranged for the Purohit even th...

We travelled through India visiting Delhi, then Rajasthan on Royal Enfield Motorcycles with a support vehicle, Indian Driver and assistant. The hotels booked were a mixed standard between very basic shower and beds to 5 star western luxuries. Highlights of our trip were the Taj Mahal at dawn, Ranakpur Jain temples, Pushkar Camel fair, Udaipur Lake and palaces, Diwali f...

We booked this resort on an Agoda sale with 75%the discount which made this excellent value for money. We generally stay in budget and backpacker hotels but as it was our wedding anniversary we went very 'up-market' and were glad we did. Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious with a bay window and window seating. The decor was attractive and tasteful. Service in...

I was a bit skeptical before booking this hotel as the review was mixed. The worst comment that i had read was that the service was not good. But somehow, the pictures of this resort captured my attention and i finally booked an egyptian villa. To my surprise, the resort was really pleasing to the eyes, not overdone on exclusivity, the perfect mixture of luxury, privac...

Traveler impressions of Pushkar
A very good place for the spiritual traveller - many temples, a holy town. Great to see Marwari horses and camels at the early part of Pushkar Fair.
Visit for the Brahma temple and lake if you are a believer. Unplanned and chaotic development has destroyed the historic charm of the town.
Despite a member of our group being a practising Hindu, they were excluded from most Hindu temples. Admittance seemed to be based on caste.
Calm & Peaceful City . Built between the hills . Good place to relax , especially Couples who wishes to spend time together , enjoy historic architecture.
Although Pushkar is basically known for the camel trade fair every year it is an interesting alternative for travellers in India that do not want to follow the usual tourist routes during the off-season.
Pushkar is an oasis with much religious ritual around lovely lake Sarovar. There are lots of animals, camels, cattle, peacocks monkeys, beautiful birds.
Pushkar fair is a big attraction when large number of tourists come from various countries to see the event.
Pushkar is an enchanted city surrounding a beautiful lake whose shores are lined with temples. There are travellers and pilgrims from many places visiting to soak up the rich experience.
GREAT yoga at Pushkar Yoga garden. It is a 10 minute walk out of town, but a rickshaw can take you there and you can ask them to pick you up in an hour and a half.
Full of western travelers but don't let that put you off. There is a nice atmosphere and everyone is friendly.

More about Pushkar
Not surprisingly, the Brahma Temple gets the lion’s share of visitors to this city. As this temple is one of the very few in the world that are specifically dedicated to the Hindu Lord Brahma, and that makes it an important religious site for many visitors. The Savitri Temple nearby is also a popular follow-up, as its dedicated to the wife of Brahma and is therefore the second-most important temple in the city.
Outside of religious significance, Pushkar is also home to a beautiful mountainous region that has been accented by the Pushkar Lake, providing some spectacular lookout points and photo opportunities for those so inclined.
There’s a lot more to see and do in Pushkar, and the best way to discover what else this city has to offer in terms of attractions, landmarks, and hotels is by exploring the interactive map on this page.
