"Stayed here for my last few days in New Zealand. Wasn't expecting much, but boy I was wrong. The property itself seemed pretty shady since it's located quite to the depth of the area but hey, some effort goes a long way. Got ourselves some pretty neat individual cabin for 2 and was astonished with the facilities provided. It's a fully-equipped cabin with pantry, a wardrobe, neat toilet and spacious room. It is fully maintained at its best and the cleanliness deserves a mention. Great stay and would love to stay here again for future Queenstown visit. P/s: ask the staff at reception for any help including helping you book any of your activities of choice."

"We settled in for three nights in this motel and enjoyed it very much. We were actually upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment though we didn't need the second room and left it closed to save the heat--Queenstown was having a cold snap when we were there (early February). It was great to have the separate bedroom and living/dining room and the kitchenette was well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful, always there when needed (during the posted hours), and the coin laundry was a great help (laundry powder provided). There is a steep walk down to town and back up but it's good exercise! Highly recommended."

"Panama Apartments was awesome. The design and layout of this apartment is simply unique. The view out the large glass window of the Lake Wakatipu and the mountains were stunning. Everything you need in the kitchen is provided and if you want to, you can even bake in here. The apartment is about 10mins walk away from Queenstown Central. Recommended to walk as parking is not easy in town. Apartment is clean, looks new, fireplace was awesome, bathroom does not have a full-size tub but i does just find. There is even a computer and printer provided at the work area in the apartment for your to print out itineraries and stuffs. Whatever you need, you'll get it here. We got a 1-bedroom apartment which cost are $390/night. Might seem high for the budget traveller but if its your honeymoon and you want to splurge on a room, THIS IS IT. Worth every cent. And also not forgetting the staff. They were friendly and more than welcome to accommodate you to book activities in Queenstown. Highly recommended. Very impressed. "

"Our stay at the Oaks Shores Hotel in Queenstown was in a 1 Bedroom apartment. The apartment were spacious and well appointed with all the amenities anyone would need. The location was quiet and pleasant and each apartment has great views of the lake. Although there was a slight mix up with our confirmed booking, the front desk staff resolved the issue promptly and efficiently with a friendly and helpful attitude. They were always extremely courteous and helpful during our stay, including confirming tours we had already booked I can highly recommend this Hotel"

"it is absolutely one of the most stunning hotels in queenstown. right on the lake with beautiful views. the breakfast is amazing, you can order freshly made coffee, tea and juice and any diy cooked breakfast included in the breakfast. the room has nice hot bath tub and fireplace, very cozy. water taxi is so cool costs return. the only disappointing thing is the receptionist during the day is not very helpful. the check-in is 3 o'clock, so if you arrive early, you will have to find somewhere to kill the time although there are a few bars and cafe. it is definitely the best spot in queenstown, right on the lake. overall, we love the stay at hilton "

"My 7th visit to Queenstown and the best accommodation I have had there, at a fraction of the price I've paid elsewhere. The location was superb, the room was great and very well appointed and very quiet, and I got upgraded. The staff felt like friends after a very short time. The continental breakfast was a great free inclusion and the free, very fast unlimited wifi was the best I have come across. I would definitely stay there again and I had a fantastic 7 nights - thanks to Cis, Caroline and Suzy. Cheers, Graham. "
