Rapid City (SD) hotels & accommodations

This hotel was okay. We stayed for one night on a weekend as we were driving through to get home. The lobby is nice and large, and the lady who checked me in was very nice. The hotel is very large, so a map was provided so we could find our way to the pool and small waterpark. Our room was on the other end of the hotel from the pool, so we walked the distance of about ...

The location was centrally located to all of the tourist sights; however, the hotel is old, curtains are sagging and unhooked, and the window air conditioning is old and loud. I hop out of the shower at 10.00 PM with wet hair, only to find the blow dryer broken. When I called the desk I received a nonchalant clerk who said shed look for a replacement, but doubted th...

New hotel, very clean, comfy beds. Neighbors were loud late at night and there wasn't a white noise option - bathroom fan or constant fan option for the heater. Fought with the climate controls for a while. Don't let minor annoyances deter you from staying at a nice, clean, friendly hotel.

We chose this location because of it's proximity to the Black Hills, Badlands and Devil's tower. It is just off a main road that is quiet and safe. The included breakfast is hot and well catered. The facilities are clean and the people we met, staff and tourists, were very friendly. Overall, I was very pleased.

This motel is good value for money but they do have a resort fee which is a little redundant. Its clean, comfortable and the breakfast selection is ok. The pool looked good for kids but we did not use it. The staff were fantastic and friendly though and even being stuck in a snow storm here was fine. I would stay again.

Our stay was great, this hotel was only listed at one star on another site, so I took a chance because Agoda had it for a great price. We were pleasantly surprised and glad we took the chance. Staff was nice, hotel was across the street from two restaurants, kids loved the pool.

Great hotel, was in the area visiting The Badlands, Mt Rushmore, and Custer State Park. My flight arrived early, and they were able to check me into a room before check in time. The suite was nice, spacious and very clean. There is food within walking distance, however downtown Rapid City is a good 10 minute drive. Uber/Lyft are available for around $15-$20 to get ...

Nice room wil kitchenesse and large fridge. A/C is a very basic single unit with no wall thermostat and located right next to the bed (thus blowing onto it at night). Less than ideal. Indoor pool is pleasant and clean. Not much around, but the burger restaurant next door (2 mins walk) is excellent. It is connected to the Cambria hotel via an outdoor seating area, where...

The hotel is really beautiful. It has Starbucks, a bar, a souvenir shop and a little sky restaurant. It's also pet friendly ($25 per pet) close to the hotel, you have Delmonico grill which is fantastic, Hardee's, gift shop, bookshop, chocolate factory etc.

There were some minor problems, but the staff more than made up for everything. I was going to come in late, after the office closed, but Pamsen offered to come back if I arrived after 10 pm. Also, Brook was fantastic. There was a problem with the cable, and she took care of it. When I first arrived, about 9 pm, she was on duty. The maid had apparently not cleaned...

If you're looking for a Quality Inn that looks great, this isn't the one. Our room door kept catching and so we'd have to slam it shut every time we went in or out which was a lot. The wall paper was peeling in spots and the shower head seemed to be too big or too low for the shower. I'm 4'11'' so it worked well for me, but anybody taller would dislike it and the water...

Room was good/clean. Excellent front desk staff, all very helpful. The few bad points which were minor: * Wifi did not work at all first night. Repaired 2nd night but very slow to the point almost unusable. * Had to ask front desk staff for ice. No guest access to ice machine. * Included "breakfast" very basic with a few packaged cakes, couple fruit items, and cof...

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is conveniently located on the south end of town, which left us able to hop onto highway 16 and head to the hills. rooms were super clean, new, with minimalist decor, which we like. The staff was super helpful, the breakfast was a definite plus, well maintained and fresh, and the fresh crop of homemade cookies every day gave it ...

Our stay was wonderful. Despite Covid we were able to relax in our impeccably clean room after spending the day seeing the sights in Rapid City. Their policy of only having staff come in if you request it made the stay worry free. The room was fresh and immaculate and the staff informative, polite and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel!!

Love this chain of motels. Compact with everything I need. Week day staff was efficient but not friendly and didn’t see smile once. Sat. Saff was efficient, welcoming, bubbly and friendly. Liked the Rapid City so much, I’m staying. At Microtel,in Suoix Falls right now
Cheap places to stay in Rapid City (SD)

This motel is overall good. It was clean but I want to mention two things. First, it was really hard to operate the shower in my room. There was an instruction but it wouldn't work properly. Second, breakfast was not good. There were only a few things prepared, so I went to Walmart to grab my breakfast. If you don't expect too much, this place is great to stay a night....

It is in a good location but the room itself needs to be updated and the carpet needed cleaning as when you walked on it you got black feet it is very dirty and when the room was cleaned they tucked the blanket in but left the sheets pulled out underneath so it looked like they had made the bed but it was not made. Overall I would stay again but they do need to clean i...
