"We went on a 4D3N stay. It was our 1st time in Redang Island and we had the most amazing time there. The room was huge and the toilet was so clean. Our room was facing the beautiful blue sea. The staffs were helpful. However, the only problem was the food. As it was nearing monsoon season, the hotel did not stock up their food supply. It was hard to find food since we were on an island. Overall it was a wonderful stay though."

"We were picked up from the jetty and driven to the accommodation for I think RM10 each. The room was clean with a comfortable bed (although the pillow was too large). The bathroom was clean with a warm shower with good water pressure. The rooms are situated on the side of a hill so be prepared to climb some steps! There is a restaurant attached which serves a basic menu as well as drinks (good fruit shakes). There are one or two restaurants nearby and one shop with very basic provisions a 5-10 min walk away. This was the quiet part of Redang with not much going on, however, this means that the beach is almost entirely your own. The guesthouse can arrange for snorkelling tours. There is a resort 5 mins down the road which has it's own beach and serves a variety of food and alcohol drinks (the only place in this part) and is the only place to accept cards. Note that the island does not have any ATMs. The other, busier side of the island, is a half hour walk through the jungle (not a difficult walk) where there are a number of cafes and restaurants. Would recommend staying in this part of Redang."

"we had a really nice stay in this hotel. the staff picked us up at the redang airport and sent us directly to the hotel, very convenient. few guests are there, that's exactly what we expected. after checked-in, we are surprised by the nice design inside the room. despite of the simple equipment, we love the wood-frame of the hotel, especially the wooden floor in the guest room. it is clean and comfortable. i read the comments before arriving, knowing that there're limited activities in the hotel, so we just stayed for 1 night. but we really had a wonderful time there, leading a peaceful life which we are looking for. the next day, we moved to long beach for a different life. in my opinion, if you stay 1 or 2 nights in redang island resort, it must be a good choice if you like quietness, and then you can take a boat to long beach, for a more happening experience."

"Staying at any hotel/chalet is fine at Redang Island since you'll be out and about most of the times anyway. I would recommend this chalet for Muslim families who are not interested in karokea-ing, loud noises or partying. Our room, Ocean front master room is good for a family with up to 4 kids. Our bathroom needs some fixing, but with great customer service, a healthy choice of breakfast and free running water/tea 24 hours a day, who could ask for anything more.. :) "
