"It is an oldie but a goodie. All was comfortable, the bed etc. shower was ok but not five star. View was sensational with snow capped mountains. Car park free and absolutely no hassle. Airport shuttle was fine and free. Breakfast was free continental but not five star ... toast with white and whole meal thick sliced, bagels, cornflakes, rice bubbles, apple and orange juices, milk and water, yoghurts, hard boiled eggs, philly cheese, coffee, tea, fresh oranges. Enough for me to be happy. Swimming pool small but swimmable. Spa hot but not bubbly enough. Staff friendly and helpful. "

"We had a 12 hour overnight layover in Vancouver, after a trans-Pacific flight. This hotel was a great location - easy shuttle bus service from the international arrivals terminal, as well as train access from the city. The staff was super friendly with my young children, who were very tired. The best part was a very good restaurant on site, right on the docks, for a great meal."

"We were on a world tour. We happened upon this hotel, and were very lucky to do so. Vancouver was a new destination for us. Downtown hotels were stupidly expensive.. We booked in at the Ramada Richmond. The staff were just fantastic, reception, room service and particularly the Lady who ran Breakfast. She was just so nice, she prepared everything to order, ensured EVERY Guest was cared for, she could tell you where to go "off the chart", how to get there, what to see ........ and literally gave a hug. This place is in Richmond, with a twice the hour Airport Shuttle, which is brill. Richmond is beautiful, and peaceful. We Lucked out here, seeing Downtown Vancouver, The Ramada and its environs were great."

"We were travelling from Vancouver island and none of the options for arrival would allow us 2 hours for security clearance before our 9 am flight. We decided to pay the premium for this super convenient option and reduce our stress. It was well worth it. We were able to stroll out of the lobby and were within steps of the TSA clearance lines. The hotel was luxury on every level without being pretentious. The lounge had great service and a comprehensive menu and the server went out of her way to help us enjoy an array of small plates that addressed our food allergies. The room was the quietest I have ever slept in at a hotel and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Crisp clean sheets and a light duvet. I was disappointed we had to check out after only one short nights stay. I have already recommended this hotel to several family members who travel out of YVR and I hope that we can find a future occasion to stay here. "

"what everybody else is saying about this hotel is all true. it's not rated #5 best vancouver airport hotel for nothing and i think it's the best travel bargain available if your looking for a great hotel as your starting off point before heading to the airport. there is a mcdonalds across the parking lot but not too many restaurant or shopping options in the area. i think that internet connection speed is a much overlooked feature of too many of todays hotels but if your looking for blazing internet download speed, than this is the hotel for you. probably the first time i have no negative comments about a hotel. give this place a try and you won't be disappointed"

"I just had a short stay as I has an 18 hour layover in Vancouver. The Best Western is not far from the airport and the price was very affordable. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and informative. On the downside, there isn't a lot of restaurant options within walking distance and I was on the first floor so there was a bit of noise from the parking lot (I was startled awake by a car alarm briefly going off) plus I could hear noise from the hallway pretty clearly. Overall I found the conditions to be pleasant and I had a comfortable rest before my early morning flight."
