"Neboder is one of very few city hotels in Rijeka. Located on the south-eastern edge of the centre, close to the waterfront, right next to mouth of the river Rjecina, everything is within walking distance: the seaport (~5 min), the elegant promenade Korzo (~10 min), pilgrimage church Gospa Trsatska (~20 min) and the castle on Trsat (~30 min) up the hill via the 538-steps stairway. Rather small rooms, no fridge, but clean with a moderatly good (gratis) internet connection. Breakfast is included, good but not great. Try to get a room as high up as possible to enjoy the marvelous view. (Price for a sea-side room is slightly higher, but worth it.) And, oh yes, parking your car in the adjacent garage is free of charge as well."
