This was my 2nd visit to Rishikesh and I cannot say enough postive things about my experience at Dewa Retreat. The accomadations are very comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant is very good and their Pure Soul Organic Cafe Has delicious tonics, smoothies, pasta, pizza and more. Pure Soul has a wonderful vibe and is a very comfortable place to relax and rene...

ganesha inn is one of the best value for money hotels in rishikesh. it is centrally located on one of the highest part of town, only a short walk to the sought after cafes and boutiques, as well as to one of the town’s key attractions, the lakshman jhula bridge. the hotel’s biggest asset is by far its magnificent views of the ganges river and mountains packed with va...

I really enjoyed my stay at Kunwar Residency. There were a couple small issues but the hotel manager did everything possible to fix the situation. The location is very good with an amazing view. The restaurant that is attached is one of the best cafes in Rishikesh. Rooms are decent and clean. Overall, would recommend this hotel!

Big Thank's to Sonu, Shiva and Raj, plus the rest of the staff here. I wasn't there long but I was make to feel welcome and at home in their guest house. There are renovations going on at the moment but they are not intrusive or disturbing. Sonu gave me a tour of what's going on and I'll guarantee that it'll soon be No. 1 in Rishikesh. All I'll say is get in quick a...

Hotel Ishan is a fresh, clean hotel with friendly staff, a great restaurant (a cut above a lot of the tourist fare with attention to little details) and a great location. Rooms are clean, nicely designed and really comfy beds. I couldn’t seem to make the air con warm which would have been nice as we were there in low season. I would also recommend you make sure they gi...

The rooms are large or at least the room we occupied was large and the service is good. Among the negatives are - steep climb up to the hotel reception/entrance; absence of lift; indifferent quality of food even though prices were quite high. The view of the river is nice.

This place seemed like it was brand new and super clean. The wifi and air con may have been the best we had in India. The location was fantastic as it was a 10 minute walk to town and Laxman Jhula bridge, but not in the center of all the hippies. The rooftop restaurant for breakfast was awesome (Indian breakfast was perfect) and there is another very nice restaurant Pu...

Live Free was an great hostel to stay at for a solo traveler - I purposely stayed at a hostel to meet other travelers and have a sense of safety. I had a private room which was clean, had hot water, and even AC! The price was VERY affordable and stayed there the whole 2 weeks while in Rishikesh. Staff were helpful and kind, location was perfect, and great company from...

The hotel is well placed in a quiet area with good access to the main street. The room was clean and the staff were exceptional-nothing too much of a problem. Keep an eye out for the Night Manager (Vicki) He is more than happy to offer advice and is super friendly. Good budget hotel in Rishikesh

This was my second stay in Rishikesh and at Hill Top. I am convinced it is the best place to stay in Rishekesh. The hotel is located in the high bank precinct,a peaceful area to meet travellers from all walks of life. The area has a village like feel and both bridges (the two main attractions) are only a short stroll away. There are several good restaurants in the area...

Small room with not much facility, however if you are looking for an accommodation at low budget and just need it for night stay (if you plan to spend whole day roaming around) then it is a good choice. Parmarth Nikethan, Gita Bhavan, Ram Jhula are at walkable distance. Pl. note cab will take Rs 1800 (appx) from Haridwar station to reach this hotel.

I had booked a deluxe room in this hotel through agoda.com in June 2018. Received confirmation email from agoda.com after I made online payment. However, hotel manager did not provide deluxe room to me on the pretext that all rooms were already booked. I had to pay extra amount for Executive Room which was having dirty bedsheets and pathetic bathroom. Floors were havi...

it was a clean place with clean loo which is the biggest concern specially when travelling with family and kids. The staff was very nice... thanks to gaurav and gabbar singh... and the rest of the people there for excellent hospitality. Me and my ten year old daughter had the best time in the river and at patna water fall.

Bunk Stay is a newer hostel in Laxman Juhla with awesome views of the town and Ganges from the terrace that includes a good restaurant. Dorm and bathroom were kept very clean during my extended stay. We stayed a few days in Rishikesh. The Shiv Shakti Guesthouse is a great choice if you look for a nice clean place in good location. The value for money is really good. As their saying, they would do their best to satisfy guest's need. In India, Indian treat guest as god, so they are so hospital. I stayed 2 nights, they really helpt me a lot. I recommend you this home stay from the bottom of my heart. The family has become my family now. They are so loving and caring. Mammi cookes delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their chai is perfectly balanced and comes in the cutest cups. Ajju, the son, gives morning yoga class and I recommend you this no matter what level you’re on in your yoga practice, ...

I had an awesome stay with this family. I feel in love with grandpa, the daughter gungun, the dog simba and the rest of the family. I am going back to Rishikesh next year for 3 months. Unfortunately this place has so good reviews that it is already booked for my stay next year, but I will come back and say hi and check if the dog Simba will still try to bite me as he h...

RYD has well lit rooms with front and back doors. Excellent yoga staff and yoga rooms you can use. Still convenient for the road but without hearing the road noise. The wifi and hot water are okay. They had a yoga festival on nearby and they gave me a free pass including food :) Great value. Namaskar!

The best thing about this hotel is the inexpensive price. The room was not great at all. Very dirty and the toilet had not been cleaned. It had a ceiling fan but no air con. There was 24 hour hot water, and also the tables and chairs on the balcony were a nice place to hang out. No wifi in the room. The walk into town was about 10 minutes, but the hotel is located in a...

We four of us ( two couples aged between 50 & 60)selected two rooms in this hotel though online booking. The booking is so simple & AGODA is so dependable and they assure the accommodation. This is a nice and clean place in Tapovan. Its location is good and the owner very helpful. In walking distance to the bridge over Ganga and yoga studios, temples, shops, etc. IMPORTANT - From Rishikesh to Tapovan you could get on a shared rickshaw for about 20 rupees. Same fare from Rishikesh bus stand. Do not pay more than that as the rickshaw drivers will tell you ...

The room was ok. No air conditioning and only a small window so the room was quite warm at night. Our fault though for not checking if they had ac before we booked. Quiet except for ongoing construction nearby. Hard to find as it was on a little street off the main road with the signage to guide guests to the hotel. Staff was nice but spoke very little English and wo...

The property is near main road so dont expect quiet atmosphere, they also have dogs witch regularly bark at night and my room had a leaking water problem from the toilet. There was only one small sitting area much use in front of main entran...

We stayed for one month in this hotel. The Holiday Home hotel is well situated near laxman jhula (5 min walk) in a quiet area. Lots of small shops, restaurants and atm's are nearby. We booked just for one Night. Appartment is located in a clossed area with quard, which is really nice. The only noise is a small stream outside. The flat is new and convinient. We decided to stay and unfortunately, the flat was allready let to somebody else. The owner had another flat in the same Complex. Older flat, but great, which We enjoyed a lot during the next t...

Hotel is at a very accessible location and is very near to the market and tourist places. Food is good and the rooms are very clean. The staff was very sweet and guided us very nicely about the city. Plus they arranged for our rafting and Rajaji national park safari. Will stay again here!

I stayed in Hotel Madhusudan for almost a month. Manish and the other staff always were very friendly and available and my room was cleaned regularly. Very high standard for India. I recommend booking Ganga facing rooms. Unfortunately only the street facing rooms have balcony. The view from rooftop is nice, however it's not a place made for hanging out (no seating poss...

I was not impressed with this hotel and in my opinion I would rate this as a 2 star hotel which would then be very neat for 2 star. I had requested that my hot water be sorted in the morning at 7am and was told that the plumber would arrive 45...

it was a bad experience. when i arrived, they said no rooms available. The boss was quite arrogant, said "this is my hotel, i know we have rooms or not". I had to call agoda to solve the problem and then they gave a room in the basement. I had to accept it as it was late in the night. They seemed not familar with agoda and it also took some time wheb checkour. In gene...

Riverside room had no view of Ganga. Breakfast was average. Lots of street noise due to two nearby roads. So if you’re a light sleeper avoid. Door keycard failed everyday until they finally replaced card on final afternoon after 5 attempts. Shuttle to airport offered at 1200R although at taxi stand down the road you can book taxi for 820R.
