"On our arrival, Jeff awaited us already. We took us and the other guests to a wedding of a friend. What an honer and wonderful experience. Thank you again for taking us. Thus wedding party, we all meet 5:30 for our sun rice trekking. This is a must do experience. The valley is gorgeous and absolutely magic on sun rise. We had a two and a half hour walk over the magic rice field terraces covered in the morning sun. Jeff, an excellent photographer took great pictures of us, knowing the best places. The home stay was very clean and comfortable. We were able to choose the room we wanted. Jeff did everything to make us feel welcome and relaxed. Thank you very much for this experience Jeff. "A lovely guesthouse run by a very kind japanese woman who is able to fluently speak english, japanese and bahasa indonesian, located right in the center of ruteng. Very clean rooms with nice furniture and decorations, fans and a strong wifi connection. The bathroom is very clean with a western style toilet and a new hot water system. The owners are able to rent you a scooter(Brand new 2016 automatic honda)for 50,000 rupiah for a half day or 100,000 for a full day, arrange transport to labuan bajo or to the rest of flores and give you any information you need on the local area. Only problem with the guesthouse is that it can be a little hard to find, but ruteng is a small place so it's hard to miss it. Overall one of the best places I've every stayed, I only wish all hotels were like MJR guesthouse."
