"We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The location was great to get to Old Sacramento and other downtown attractions although there's not much in the immediate area. The layout of the hotel felt a little peculiar (you had to walk down a rather long hallway past what appeared to be either suites or meeting rooms to get to the elevators), but the room was sufficient for the price and the bed was comfortable. I would consider staying here again."

"The hotel is one the better ones in Sacramento for our family’s budget. The staff was very helpful without hesitation. Tipping the room service goes a long way. We asked for a roller bed and the attendant later brought us extra towels. The front staff was very accommodating as well. They had all of the amenities and the mall is right across the street and right off the highway. I would stay there again. "

"Pet friendly - fair pet deposit. Only thing last time house keeping did not vaccume carpet & was told I had to request it. Laundry facilities are excellent, except for other guests not removing their items. I don't mean for a short time, I mean I was doing laundry and someone was taking up 2 dryers all night & saw the next day someone had finally took it. I didn't pull their stuff out because I didnt need them. Only other thing is that it gets SO HOT in the laundry room- I got a chocolate bar from a vending machine & it was melted. Its a quiet location. All business's around it close by 10-11pm. If you have a dog, mine got ill after swimming in the American River. That has nothing to do with the hotel it's just a note for dog owners. Go north out the Sacramento city lines. Approx. 10 mins on Hwy 50North the water is better but current is STRONG so find a safe place. "
