Best hotels & accommodations in Salt Lake City (UT)

This was an excellent stay in SLC; it is minutes away from the airport, close to downtown, and very clean! Hot breakfast served and quick service. Minor bad thing was the staff at the counter was a bit rude, but maybe because it was late; he was a bit grumpy.

The red Lion Hotel is for us for the first time in Salt Lake City an amazing adventure. We had never sleep in a hotel with such nice and good beds. The service in the restaurant on the 13 th floor was very good .The meals are very good . For the breakfast the restaurant on 1 level was also good and the ordering was complete good . We thank you and also the Red Lion Hot...

As a female solo traveler I checked in at 12:30 a.m. and was given a room that was farthest away from the front desk, requiring a walk across a large open, snowy, outdoor courtyard in the dark with a very large suitcase. After making it across the courtyard I could not find an elevator and had to haul the suitcase up the stairs. The next morning after looking for the...

First, I had to call the hotel 4 different times to confirm late check-in. For some reason the front desk guy couldn't leave a note in my file; I had to call after shift change. When we went to bed that night, we couldn't get the heater to turn on, and the beds only had sheets. We looked for extra blankets in closets, but found nothing. We then called the front desk fo...

Breakfast was great and had many choices, which was a plus. They wanted to charge us extra for breakfast even though my booking said it was included, so make sure you have a receipt of your booking. My little one needed to have milk warmed up but there are no microwaves in the rooms which was a big bummer for us. The only microwave was downstairs in the breakfast area ...

We booked this hotel because it had a 4 star rating and it was a good price. It was not 4 star in my opinion and I would not stay there again. The hotel is on the corner of the main street which is great if you came to see the city but they didn't take into account parking. There is no place to park on the street and there is not parking lot. There is a parking garage ...

Positive side: Hotel room is good with all furnitures that we need - 2 tables, 2 chairs, fridge. Parking/Wifi is free. In general worth the price we paid. Negative side: Safe is locked so we cannot use it - what's the purpose of having the safe in the room? There is no microwave oven in the room; and when we requested for it during the check in, the staff told us th...

This is not a Hotel, it’s a shame and Wyndham resort should take its name away from this establishment.Me and my family had the worst experience! When we arrive there many other guest visually upset asking for there money back! sing post in lobby stated pool was Close!!!! for over six months! When I mention to agent that it did not state this fact in the internet! He...

Very nice touch to have chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and fruit-flavored ice cold water to welcome guests in the lobby. It was a very nice touch when we arrived from the airport. The breakfast was great, with a variety of hot breakfast food (sausage, scrambled eggs & cheese, waffles), and cold ones (e.g., yogurt, broiled eggs). I had the best chocolate muffin...

The Comfort Inn at Draper Utah was very clean and comfortable to stay at. The staff were very friendly and it is indeed, only steps away from the Cowabunga water park with Hotel courtesy passes available for only 10 bucks. The only two reasons I couldn't rate them any higher would be that the rooms, beds, tv.... were just a tad on the small side and we sort of trippe...

We came to Utah for Christmas, we had a wonderful time. I wish the lobby had a taller Christmas tree so we could have had photos in your lobby. Your staff was wonderful, we forgot a pillow and they called us. We were grateful to get it back. Kay Thacker

Basically the hotel is in the down town, very convenient for tourist. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Driving to Target Store took around 5 minutes. So plenty of shopping can be done there. Salt Lake City is surrounded by mountains, really great scenery and with very friendly people. We have a great time at Natural History Museum of Utah.

We are a couple from Poland on our US road trip. We've spent many nights in different hotels but this one was really nice. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Friendly, accommodating and helpful hotel staff. Very nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub! Happy with our stay there. Good neighborhood.

Crappy coffee. Was worried about incidentals because one side of the headboard fell off. One bed was very odd in room 228, seemed like someone snatched the springs out of one side of the bed. It just sunk in like a sponge. Some stains on the sheets. Coffeeaker emitted strange algae like substance. Not healthy. However, front desk guy was probably NOT an idiot. Thank yo...

Booked a nonrefundable room and paid a month ahead via Agoda. After checked in, the counter locked our room key and claimed that my previous credit card is failed and needed to pay again by another card. The staff guarantee the previous card wasn't charged so I paid. After finishing the trip I found out the previous card was actually charged and same did another c...

Good hotel for value and a very convenient location. Easy access to freeways reaching all parts of SLC and traveling throughout the State. All ski slops are within 30 minutes via 215. Golf courses also within 30 minutes in all directions. On the edge of the Airport, but no noise from the departures and arrivals.

Extremely nice hotel with awesome views. It was out of the way for where I thought I needed to be but that's my issue. Staff was incredibly friendly. Checkin was a breeze and quick. When outside, the views are incredible. Fairly close to all types of food. Breakfast was good. Hotel seemed newer but extremely clean. The room was a little different from the picture but s...

What a find this place is. Everything was above and beyond starting at the front counter being greeted by Holani who was extremely helpful and genuine. The rooms are spacious, clean and they have gone the extra mile with additional small comforts . Bed great, food was a bonus as you were provided with drinks and nibbles at 5pm and then a hot breakfast the next morning...

nearby were target, home depot and delicious chinese food serving restaurant and oriental noodles serving one were impressive when i was troubled with cold weather and thick snowfalls. room with a view on mountains of salt lake city was the most impressive and moving choice for me after the long bix trip from d.c. on the way back to korea.

We were able to enjoy this hotel and walk to all the stops we wanted to visit. It was a great walk that helped us not have to deal with the hassle of parking in Downtown Salt Lake. The staff was friendly, everything was clean. The pool was enjoyable with the kids- perfect temperature (for swimming in DEC!) and the breakfast was tasty. Had a great experience. Will stay ...

The rooms here are very nice and have all the amenities that you could want. The layout of the hotel make it very easy for those driving. Location is quite good to reach the main tourist and business locations in downtown Salt Lake City. You can walk a few blocks to catch the tram system that works downtown. Breakfast was good with full choice of items. Small but nice...

Fantastic stay, the room was completely up to standard even better, after traveling around America for three weeks and staying in a new motel night after night - it was great to stay in such a well looked after motel, clean, tide, comfortable and cheap - all you could ask for. Value for money!

If you are staying for more than one day, it’s a good place to be. If it’s just one day, you can find better. Someone placed a bag over the smoke detector so they could smoke I presume. I didn’t smell smoke, so it was either cleaned well, or it had been a while ago that it happened. In which case, how many people slept with a disabled smoke detector?

Pros: The hotel is close to restaurants and stores. Cons: The room we were in was right next to another building and our view was of the other building. The hotel room had a list of items in the room and the cost of each item. My husband and I went through the list to make sure everything was there to avoid getting charged an outrageous price for any of the items....

This hotel was looking amazing in the photos, the place looked too good to be true on the web....but it was just as described! A great location and super friendly staff!! This is the place to book if you want a hassle free and easy to access Salt Lake City!
5-star hotels in Salt Lake City (UT)

We stayed in a lovely suite with a great city view, very spacious and my grandma would have approved the decor (not necessarily my cup of tea). The bed was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the Sunday brunch the next day (table service, possibly due to Covid, but food was brought out quick). Speaking of Covid, it ruined our plan to go swimming, since Salt Lake city ...

More about Salt Lake City (UT)
Salt Lake City is most famous for being the home base of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormons. Because of the general public fascination with this group, it’s no wonder that Temple Square is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. Located right in the middle of the city center, Temple Square is home to iconic landmarks that are related to the Mormon faith, including the Tabernacle, home of the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir. There are several opportunities for tours around this square, the perfect way to see some of the monuments and landmarks that are directly related to the history of the church in Salt Lake City.
Of course, outside of the city center is the Great Salt Lake State Park, where it is possible to explore the lake for which this city is named. The shallow and salty lake never freezes, even in the depths of winter, so boating and sailing tour groups operate out of there year-round. The area is one of the most beautiful in the state, the water sitting just below the vast skies, the stars uninterrupted by skyscrapers or pollution.
