"Not really a 'resort', but a nice place to stay. Good location in terms of the beach. You could hang out at the pool or go a bit further and go to the beach. One of the few places that put beach chairs out everyday. I liked the pool bar. They played music and you could see the beach from there. Drink prices were reasonable and they had happy hour every day from 3-6. But - they do last call at 7pm! Also had good umbrella's and some nice chair arrangements under some pergolas. Price at least when we went was really high, $328 a night. Not worth that rate, but the whole island is high. Had 2 queens, a mini-frig and microwave. Room was good enough for our stay. Maids did an excellent job every day. Ate once at the restaurant and once at the bar. Just ok I thought."

"When we checked in and got to our room after the hot climb up the stairs with our bags, we saw the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. They gave us the wrong room so I had to go down to fetch the new keys and relocate. The location is nice, but the noseeums are terrible at dusk and dawn. They do give you complimentary sunscreen with bug repellent in it which is nice. They provide breakfast too which is also nice. It would be better if it wasn’t almost the exact same thing day after day. The facilities are clean, and they also have a couple of grills which we used. The website didn’t mention that our room would have a kitchenette. If we had known, we would have grabbed some groceries before heading there. The pool is really nice, the balconies are screened in and offer a nice view. The beach is a very nice short walk away, and they provide chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost. "

"Pros: Good view, comfortable bed, nice staff, Accessories (bicycles, beach chairs, etc), location, shelling Cons: Room not serviced each day, cannot close a door to toilet/tub area to separate from sink making it difficult with four people sharing one room, ran out of beach towels (we requested four at 2:00 pm and could only get 2 because they were out), extra resort fees in addition to the room rate that was agreed to even though we only used two beach towels (4 total when we returned at four to see if we could get two more for our whole party) as well as these items only being available until 5 pm Overall our little family enjoyed our experience, but we may choose another resort if we choose to return to Sanibel. We enjoyed the on site dining options and the tiki bar. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the resort and the beach. It is nice to have beach chairs provided and the staff works hard to have everything set up on time. However, these chairs and bicycles are fcfs basis."

"VERY NICE LITTLE HOTEL. STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. PROPERTY BUILDINGS AND ROOMS NEEDS UPDATING AND PAINTING, BUT EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN. HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE AC OUR FIRST NIGHT, BUT THEY FIXED IT THE NEXT MORNING. FREE BICYCLES AVAILABLE WHICH WAS GREAT BECAUSE BIKING IS THE THING TO DO ON THE ISLAND. TWO POOLS!!! RIGHT ON THE BEACH!! OUR ROOM WAS LISTED AS A "PARTIAL OCEAN VIEW"...BUT "PARTIAL" IS A STRETCH. JUST A NICE LITTLE HOTEL AND WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN!"

"Very little interaction with staff or I would have given that category a higher review. You check yourself in and out and everything you need is available. It was a nice room with a small kitchenette. Nice central pool area. Laundry. The beach is across the street, but we stayed at a "resort" the night before, and it took longer to walk across the resort property to get to the beach than the short walk here. Nice neighborhood. "
