We enjoyed our stay at Country Inn Hotel and Restaurant very much. I would recommend this place to friends and would definitely book this hotel again if ever I’ll go back to Santa Ana. The staff are really awesome and very friendly, they serve great food at affordable price and you have plenty to choose from. The place is really relaxing and it’s very near the beach. Over all it was really worth every penny. 👍🏻👍🏻

The place is at the center of the town which makes it easier to navigate. Its clean, spacious and well kept. There’s free water refill and you can always ask the staffs for the additional things you need! Thank you for making our stay in Sta Ana great and comfy! Also Thank you to the lodging house manager Sir JR for your hospitality and allowing us to change rooms for our convenience! And Ate that help us for coffee and looked for trycle for us! Will definitely comeback and recommend you! 👍🏽😃

What I liked about Lugano is that it has well-designed, newly-built and clean facilities. The room we booked for 3 people was spacious and well-maintained. They had nice bedroom furniture and good quality of linens. I was also pleased that they had Ilog Maria toiletries (shampoo, face soap and body soap). I'm really a fan of this brand as they are made of organic ingredients, handmade and really smell nice. Services was also great. They easily provided our request for additional towel (they initially provided just two) and they extended our stay to up to 2:00PM the next day given our island hopping sched so we can still take shower. Luckily, we were the only guests that time plus we checked-in a bit late so they gave us this consideration. Chef Christopher who prepared our delicious dinner (Spicy Garlic Lobster and Baked Lapu-lapu in parmessan cheese) and breakfast (Longanisa Tuguegarao with fried rice and Spanish Omelette plus brewed coffee) graciously entertained us as we dined. They had separate dining hall and coffee shop (unfortunately close - I would've had cake and coffee if it was open). My only suggestion is that they offer complimentary drinks (an ice-cold water will do!) to guests as they usually arrive heat exhausted and thirsty. An easily accessible hot and cold water dispenser would also be very nice since they don't provide electric kettle in the rooms. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. We were well-rested the next day because the area was quiet and felt secure. The whole place was equipped with CCTV cameras. It made sense why their windows have too bright lighting at night, they were for security purposes. I will definitely recommend to friends who are travelling to this part of Cagayan. Bonus: It was just a 5 minutes away by tricy from San Vicente Port where you can ride a boat for the tour to Palaui Island and nearby tourist spots.

Office staff could not find our booking upon arrival. Proprietor got involved and found the booking, but initially said they were fully booked and did not have a room available. Proprietor then said one room is available, but it is not the type of room booked, and does not have hot water or TV (there is an old TV in the room, but it wasn't working at the time of out stay). I asked if full price applied, and the proprietor said 'well, you've already paid for it, so that's the price". The establishment did not seem too concerned that the room we have booked and paid for through Agoda was not actually available. Having no option but to proceed, we checked into the room. The room is very basic. It had a simple double bed with foam mattress. The bathroom, likewise, is of the most basic standard. It had not been cleaned thoroughly, for example, there was black sand from the beach all over the bathroom floor. There are no towels or other basic items, such as toilet tissue. There is also no seat on the toilet, just the bare ceramic rim. We asked about the restaurant, but we were advised that it had been closed since the tsunami some months beforehand. We were also told that the hotel did not presently have a cook or chef. In summary, this establishment is not for anyone who requires normal hotel accommodation. It's only saving grace is its position. Best suited to back-packer style travellers who are happy with the most basic style of accommodation, and an operator that appears to be completely disengaged from the general standards of the hospitality business.
