Santorini hotels & accommodations

My wife and I recently stayed at Caldera Villas in Oia. It was our last night in Santorini and our only night in Oia. The location is a bit tricky to find at first. As they explained to us, they meet most of their guests at their point of arrival and show them to their rooms. We arrived via car and just asked around and found it no problem. It was still very early in ...

being a first time in santorini, it was kinda hard for me to decide which hotel to say, since there were so many choices and recommendations from friends but im glad i choose elite suites. Located at the beginning of the Oia pedestrian make it close enough to go around oia but i can still have the privacy and quietness of the town, avoiding the hectic our during sunset...

so we took the buses from the ferry terminal to oia. we went to the information centre for direction, but was instead advised that our hotel booking is waiting for us and that someone will help us with our luggage :) wow! i could not stop omg-ing when i arrived at the hotel and was given a tour from the reception area to our room by elena (1 of the 2 very nice staf...

Actually we have previous booking for another hotel 2 month before the trip, but Agoda cancelled my booking just 1 week before the trip, because the room is over booked. I was super angry. During this last minutes change, most of the rooms are full in Santorini and the prices are increased. I have not choice but book Manos small world, which is near my previous booki...

We came to La Perla Villas for our honeymoon in May 2018 and it did not disappoint! The weather was perfect and the staff was absolutely delightful! The front desk, specifically Rena, was so nice and knowledgeable about local activities and restaurant recommendations. I hope we're back in Santorini again in our future travels, and I would definitely enjoy another stay ...

This is the second time we are in Santorini. We stayed at the honeymoon suite which has an amazing view over Thira. The hotel and suite is located at the top of the cliff so it simply has the best over Thira I guarantee. The altitude is also the highest among every other hotel in Thira. There may be other hotels with fancier pool, but this hotel is just the best becaus...

I stayed in 3 hotels during my stay in Santorini. And Tholos Resort is by far the best among these three. Pro: 1. You ordered the breakfast the night before. And it would be served to you at your balcony next morning. Having the tasty breakfast at your balcony with the great view of the caldera! 2. Room is spacious. The washroom is also spacious. I like the room very...

I had the best time at Exclusive plan suites in Santorini!. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. one of best view you will get offered from the spa bath that just amazing!! My room was very clean and a big bath room that 2 basins and 2 shower together!. Handy location that little restaurants and mini marts. There are so many nice hotels in Santorini but I will defini...

Great Property, lovely staff! The property is overlooking the East so good for sunrises. But if you are after Santorini sunsets you cannot see them from the property and would have to travel to Imerovigli 1 km away from property Rooms are amazing and the outside Jacuzzi (if your room has it) overlooks the east side so perfect to start the day!

We arrived around dusk to the most spectacular sunset we could have imagined. The setting of this hotel is truly spectacular!!! Forget going elsewhere when you have the best view from your room! The staff here were all extremely friendly and accommodating, and even located us in a room right by the pool so that we could be close to our room when our baby was napping. ...

Everything was PERFECT! This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! Our resort was in the perfect location - gorgeous view, friendly staff, beautiful room with a hot tub, and delicious breakfast! We would highly recommend this property!

Staff were friendly well informed and warm. Outdoor pool area is fabulous and the restaurant offers great service and value for money. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless and lovely touches like the percale linen and pristine thick toweling we loved!

For a couples trip, Bella Santorini was great. It felt like a private villa to us. It wasn't very crowded and we liked that. The suite we stayed in was spacious and really nice for us. The hotel was really cute and the owner Lina is really helpful. It is walking distance to the black beach and there are nice restaurants by the beach. You need to get the bus to get in...

Had a wonderful time! Maria the manager was super nice and helpful with alot of information ! Sophia the cleaning lady was so wonderful, knew everything we needed and was so lovely, bless her soul ! Overall really happy with this hotel, the view is absolutely to die for! Thankyou Maria for a special time here, hope to see you again in the near future! xx

We stayed for 2 nights during our honeymoon trip. We booked the room with hot tub because hot tun picture in the web looked so nice even the price much more higher than the standard room. When we arrived, the GR staff already waited for us on the main road. It takes 3 minutes walking to reach the hotel. The staff was very nice and gave us a lot of information about S...

It was a very nice stay . the staff was very nice and room keep cleaning everyday although you don't request . The sister from the hotel very helpful for us.she arrange bike for us to visit Santorini in 15 Euro a day including fuel. we were able to cover all Santorini in one day , Oia,to Akrotiri . Do not miss hiking to Skaros Rock it was my best , if you are good clim...

This hotel is near the airport so we use it as a base and travel to other islands from it. For us , the location is excellent because it is very, very close to the airport -you can see and hear the planes land. This might be a problem for other users but like the fact that the area is otherwise very quiet. A lot of Santorini has been ruined because it is s touristy and...

We had 12 people in our group, and we used five rooms at the hotel. Everyone had a wonderful experience. The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was always great, especially the breakfasts!! The pool service was lovely, too. We would definitely stay here again. ...

Location, location, location... The most amazing views with the best sunset anywhere. Private and cleanest well kept villas. People line up for hours outside private villas trying to capture sunset ,boats below packed with limited views. No need where stay has the most desired view. Because there is no access for autos, only many steps to get in or out, you will want...

It’s on my favorite part of the island and so close to such an amazing view of the Caldera with an equally great view of the rest of the island. The best part was the hospitality extended by Panos. I had never visited Greece before but can’t wait to return because of the great experience I had at Villa Libertad. The breakfast (and view) was great and the room much bigg...

Katikies Hotel is a beautiful hotel in Oia and the staff/team are amazing. They made my stay in Santorini memorable. I stayed in Room 4, and similar to other reviews it is not a quiet room. Particularly, the housekeeping room is around the corner, you can hear the staff through the thin walls in the bathroom and rustling noises.

OK, hardwares wise Mill House may not be on the top of the pile here, nonetheless, what they provide is way more than adequate; but, trust me, their service is one of the best if not the best in any hotel I've been to and I've been around – I travel for a living! The moment you check in, you'll know the difference, they don't just welcome you, they give you a detailed ...

Booked the 2 bed apartment on the bottom floor. Massive living room with old charm. Kitchen and 2nd bathroom was separate opposite the terrace. Hot tub was heated and was lovely. There were quite a number of mosquitoes, but dionysis was very helpful and immediately bought us insect repellent. Overall he was attentive to all our needs. Wonderful stay.

hotel was just few steps from the town area. room is very clean and tidy, appreciate for the friendly staff in hotel which able to advise and give comments on the tourist spots. they even provide red wine for free upon arrival. they had also kept a room for us since we are arriving very late on the midnight. i really enjoy the stay in this hotel.

We found this hotel on instagram and really wanted to go there. It was a good choice that we did book it. The infinity room is fab. Staff is nice even the restaurant ;(Alali) Location is lovely too. It’s quieter than most of places in Santorini but the views are breathtaking Unreal breakfast served on your tarrace each mor img also unreal experience . Would defo reco...

This villa has an incredible sunset view. We were all in awe as we watch the sun slowly disappear in the horizon. The staffs are amazing, especially Demitris the manager, who is very hospitable and never fails to attend to our needs. We can’t wait to be back!

I was here on a honeymoon with my wife. The staff anticipated our arrival and had everything prepared for us. They were also kind to introduce Santorini and it’s attractions. Most of the people think Oia is the best location to stay. I would agree that during the summer. Since I came during the winter, my choice to stay in Imerovigli was the best decision. Oia Castle is literally in the the BEST location for sunset viewing. The terraces are wonderful. Every night was spectacular watching the sunset with wine in the hot tub or on the patio while hundreds of others are crowding the castle above or streets to catch a glimpse, it was really very special! The rooms are beautiful and fitting with the Oia building style. Elias ...
Cheap places to stay in Santorini

We booked a big kinda apt, They had a washing machine dryer 3 rooms kitchen hall. Everything was clean. Big Bath. The only down fall is that there is no reception. The keys were at the door when we arrived around midnight. We left our luggage and went out for a day. No problem. It just a straight road to get to the town. When you guys reach the town there is lots of trav...

Villa Agas was in a great location just a few steps away from the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to the center of Fira. We had a very large room with lots of storage and two balconies one of which had a table and two chairs where we had breakfast each morning. We also had a refrigerator, instant hot water kettle, coffee cups, glasses and utensils for two people. T...

Very nice room with a nice balcony and very clean. Convenient location about a 15 minute walk to Fira. Local bus stop only a 2 minute walk away. Lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful in giving us tips and organising activities. Great place for our stay on Santorini.

The hotel is on a quiet lane off the main road which is good as you aren't overlooked by passing pedestrian traffic like other hotels directly on the beach front. The hotel itself is less than a minutes walk from the beach. The facilities in the hotel are good. Clean good sized pool area. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which had a decent size bathroom and bedroom. St...

The family that run this hotel do a great job and are extremely nice. Always available to chat or help. The pool was small but sufficient. Plenty of seating/loungers. The rooms were nicely decorated with a comfy bed. The shower was like the pool, small but sufficient. Air con and WiFi excellent. The beach was 1 minute walk, as was all the bars and restaurants. Very qua...

The apartment was great and had a balcony with a table and very nice views. The lady running the resort was very nice and kind. It is in a very remote location with no grocery stores within easy walking area. There is also no bus that comes close so you'd either need a car, use a taxi, hitchhike, or have a long walk from the nearest bus stop. The kitchen sink was not ...

Great location 3 min walk to the beach and all the beach clubs. Rooms are simple but perfect for somewhere to sleep. Staff are super friendly, picked us up from the airport and assisted us when the airline lost our bags! 2 min walk to bus stop which goes accross the island to Fira, great place to stay if you prefer the beach compared to tourists in fira!

My husband and I were there on our honeymoon. Other than that we got two double beds, instead of one queen size, we really loved it there. It was such a warm, hospitable, clean and affordable environment! We loved being close enough to all key points in Santorini without having to see tourists at every turn. It was a more authentic, real, pleasant and dreamy experience...

the villa was very nice. Wifi was very good, location is ver good very close to the beach and also has view of the beach very quiet location not as cramped as being in thira or Oia alot of open space. many places to eat around the villa and also if you dont want to eat outside they have many grocery stores close by. the villa includes a kitchen so if you want cook and ...

located 20 meters from the black beaches, with restaurant and sunbeds on beach in a very tranquil , relaxing atmosphere we decided to extend our stay from 2 days to 7 days. The staff were magnificent and helpful in every way and helping us extend and arrange daily tours for us around the island. Close to all shops other restaurants, nightlife, the Hotel has its own cle...

This hotel is excellently located for exploring Kamari and getting to the beach. The beach is so close you can walk it in less then 1 min. The room was well sized, clean and had a private balcony. My only negative comment is the internet that is stated on their listing is not included. The fees for internet access are very expensive (5 Euros for 90 min) This was inc...

Located near the Airport (3kms),or just 10 mins away. The hotel owner is very helpful and will guide you through out your stay. The staffs were very helpful. Very spacious and very very clean bathroom. Beds are super soft and osm. The room is very spacious and we got a pool view room. Over all we enjoyed the stay at this hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel to every ...

honeymoon is within 5 min from the beach of perissa which is the best on the island with many restaurants and bars so the location is spot on, the accomodation is in a small complex and is familly run with the owners been friendly and helpfull ,the food is more like homemade and tasty thanks to Julia ,the room was clean and nicely decorated with a/c and a kitchenet...

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was quiet in comparison to other hotels, as we had direct access from outside without sharing a hallway. Upon arrival the owner prioritised a room with 2 beds rather than a double when they saw that we were sisters and not a couple! We stayed in multiple locations in Karterados and found it a good base with buses easy to navigate a...

We stayed in Santa Elena for a week and it was the most pretty Boutique Type Hotel. Our balcony had a lovely view of the sea AND the moutains AND the gardens. The pool area over looked the garden also and a vineyard near by. Our hosts were what made it extra special Sophie, the beautiful young lady who was highly professional but with the open arms that only a Mama ...

We were in honeymoon~ this hotel has a great view, and very professional staff~ room is clean and functional, breakfast is also delicious~ Specially thanks for Gorge who welcome us and take care us during those 2 nights~ he is a very helpful and solved my complain. The staff were very friendly and helpful with showing us what to see around Santorini. The room we booked, one with a jacuzzi was absolutely gorgeously decorated and we could not fault it. The location is prime with it being a short distance from the main square and the bus depot - although must be fit to walk as there is a steep hill. Would highly recommend and would ...

I stayed here waiting to go on my yacht adventure and was very pleased with the atmosphere and service. Very accommodating, tasty tasty Greek food in attached restaurant with local wine and cheese choices, fresh seafood. The owner couple were very sweet and happy people, as were the staff. Would return if ever here again.

Best thing about Villa Nefeli is the friendliness of the owner. We actually arrived earlier than the check in time, but still the owner tried to make the room for us as soon as possible. It feels like home. Also, the location is just 5 minutes walking distance to the bus stop and black sand beach. The ktel bus will stop at the Bob's bar and then walk to the villa for ...

Was really glad we stayed here. It’s out of the way of the busy tourist areas, and still easy to get everywhere. Family run, and very friendly. Mom makes a great breakfast every morning (boiled eggs, fresh fruit and juices, hot toast, flan, cereals, yogurt, coffee/tea) -we had included in our stay. Our room was basic, with a fridge and air conditioning. It’s older, but...

Perfect place to stay for good price in Santorini. Beach is just 10min to walk and absolutely the best beach on this island. Also just 2min to bus-stop. Near facilities you have supermarkets and bakery just 5-7min walk. Moreover the host is super friendly and just you everything you would like to know. Really recommend!

This was our honeymoon trip. I believe that everyone will have the same trouble when booking an expensive resort. Is it good? Is it as it shows in the photos? What if we arrive and is not what we expect? and so on keep checking and comparing so many other resorts. My wife and I we are very frequent travellers but still it took us 2 weeks to finally decide on our honeym...

This hotel is very new and I couldnt ask for anything more. The staffs are all warm and friendly. They were so kind to give us a free upgrade to a Jacuzzi Room. The rooms are immaculately clean, and the Guy Laroche towels and linens are AMAZING! Nice view from the rooms and great room service food. Our stay here was perfect because of the very accommodating and awesome...

Ducato di Oia is a small but perfectly formed piece of paradise. We booked the Pariis suite which has 2 bedrooms, we used 1 as a dressing room. It was comfortable and we had ample storage. The main reason to book this suite though is the private plunge pool. It had by far the best position and views of the caldera. It was simply breath taking it by far exceeded my expe...

We stayed there just for one night but we had a horrible experience. The hotel is located next to the airport so you can hear all the planes coming in. Staff was un helpful we wanted to get a boat for Mykonos but they kept telling us that we needed to book one day in advance or go to Phira to buy tickets which was not true we could buy tickets on the same day and direc...

This was a perfect place to stay: charming, quiet, romantic, breath-taking,.. Breakfast was served on our terrace each morning as we marveled at the view, and in the evening, the same view offered beautiful sunsets. The owner provided his own delicious wine. He's very attentive as is the rest of his staff. We could easily walk to restaurants, shopping, sights, and pu...

When you see pictures of a hotel you start to create expectations on your mind that usually for short when you see the real thing. Ikastikies, I'm happy to say, surpassed my expectation. It started on my taxi ride to the hotel. I'm not sure if I was lucky or everyone at Santorini knows everyone else, but the taxi driver must have told the hotel owner George that we're ...

Christina was absolutely wonderful and made our stay in Santorini so spectacular! She was welcoming, considerate and very accommodating! The staff were all very professional, the views were spectacular, and the overall experience was one of the best we have had!

an excellent boutique small luxury hotel with excellent service. But what was missing from the description was how difficult it would be for us to find the location especially when we had hired a car. It may be easier to get a taxi as the drivers should know where the hotel was. When we arrived in the town no one seemed to know where the hotel was. located on the ro...

We like the location most , right in the heart of Santorini and Fira itself, overlooking the Caldera, in the middle of shopping area. Room number 9 is the best. Daily breakfast on balcony with a great view was awesome. The hotel staff were so nice and caring, thank you very much George, Angela, Danny and Alma, you turned our vacations from better to best, applause to...

We traveled to Santorini for our honeymoon, and spent eight nights at Avant Garde suites in October. We were upgraded and looked after brilliantly by Zoey and the team. One of the reasons we chose Avant Garde was for self catering. The upgraded rooms do not have a kitchenette, so Zoey offered me the use of the hotel kitchen (mostly used for breakfast), which was absolu...

I don't normally write reviews for hotels, but this suite home is so nice that i am actually missing it! The staff is nice, the room is fabulous and spacious, it does give u a feeling of staying at home. Location is convenient, it takes you only a few minutes to walk to the bus station. I would highly recommend you to stay there for a few nights!!

The location of the house is a little hard to find for a first time visitor, with your luggage in tow, but once you get the bearing it is very easy. That's about all the shortcoming of the house. The host Anna is fantastically kind and provided the best and friendliest service anyone can expect. The house was nicely renovated and decorated, clean and warm. Little surpr...

I stayed at Azar for a couple of days just for relax. Its located on the quiet side of Santorini where you can see the sunrise from your bed. It's easy driving to anywhere in Santorini. Breakfast was great. The pool is small but enough for fun, very clean I must say. Anna was very sweet and thoughtful. Definitely recommended. Try a massage with Laura and Yoga with Mari...

Beautiful hotel with the perfect location. The room was very clean and the views were spectacular. If I have 6 stars, I would give it. The moment we step foot into Astra, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness, it surpassed all our expectations which was already sky-high. Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We booked the infinity pool suite, a little more expensive but definitely exceeded our expectations. The room had a beautiful huge bath tub, the size of plunge pool. We also had the infinity pool outside which was just amazing to watch the sunset from. The decor and furniture gave the room that extra luxuriou...

We were in Santorini for our wedding. Everything during our stay went smooth. The manager was friendly and we had a fantastic breakfast spread every morning. There were facilities in the hotel for swimming etc. And the hotel is well located in Fira Town. We had everything we need and we will highly recommend the stay.

A very expensive hotel with just an average room. Nothing to shout about. Rooms are small and the bathroom is badly designed where water will sipped through:making the entire floor soaked. Amenities are not refilled if you stay more than one night, the phone is damaged and safety box can't be used. The only thing great about this hotel is good breakfast. Slow custome...

Very friendly and helpful host. Ensure you feel at home and know your way around. Love the Villa, simple but tastefully designed. Cosy with large spaces (incl. 3 bedrooms and a beautifully done up outdoor front patio and small lovely backyard). Location is great right in the middle of Fira town. Less than 1min walk to Central Fira. The only thing lacking is the fact th...

I didn't notice that this was a Starwoods property when I booked through Agoda. They had a small sign at check-in though where we were greeted with complimentary fresh cold lemonade. I recently jumped to Gold Status through an American Express card. That meant free drinks by the pool. But as soon as we were basically done getting all our luggage in the door they kn...

There’s not much to say the property is beautiful. There’s a back entrance from the pool (one of three pools) that leads to a three minute walk from the beach. The staff was great, the facilities were great, it was quite. If your staying more than two or more nights in Kamari, I would recommend here. If your doing less, stay in the hustle and bustle of the beach road. ...

Location about 5 min walk to fira the main central of city , extremely helpful staffs provide the best and usefully information. Car rental services are available in the hotel and its only took us less than 15 min for getting the rental vehicle ( we did not have any plan or clue upon arrival ) everything turn up well . Santorini is an amazing and gorgeous island that is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. Visit it in the months when it is in operation (around March to October) as it is closed in the winter months.
Santorini island is my dream land since i was young. My dream is come true at my age of 32 years old.

Santorini is very charming. Love the cliff and ocean view. The food is pleasant and the people are very friendly.
Fira was a very touristy place, however, I was there the end of October, the end of the season so there were not the crowds that must be there in summer.
The must go activity should be the sunset cruise. Its a relaxing 5 hour cruising. One guy found a Tiffany diamond ring while diving at the white beach.
Santorini island is great. Make sure you stay in the middle of the island like Fira so it will be easier to go to places.
Santorini is beautiful with both cultural history, amazing views and great restaurants. I stayed in Akrotiri, which was great, but after exploring the island I would recommend Oia or Kamari, perhaps even Perissa.
Quite possibly the most beautiful of all the greek islands based on my limited exposure to them. It has everything from amazing sights and attractions to sublime seafood and dining.
We chose to get to Santorini by high speed ferry instead of airplane for both ways. We were very happy with that and would recommend this way from Athen to Santorini if you have certain plans about trip expense and timing as well.
Santorini is a great place to take rest and go to beach. There are many nice beaches. Very beautiful, relax and fun place.
The public transport is quite developed, such that it's easy to get to beaches in the south and Oia in the north.
