"The staff could not of made us more welcome. We have forgotten our Blackberry charger and the young guy on the Reception let us borrow his own. This was a very nice gesture and had a real home from home feel which you rarely get from BIG CHAIN hotels so very well done Novotel Sheffield. The hotel was also very clean.... and I am very picky but could not fault it. Particularly the glasses in the bar area were polished prior to our drinks being served which again was a nice touch. We had planned to eat out but decided to stay in the hotel to eat as we were asked very nicely about this and shown a delicious "specials" menu on arrival. A very well organised and efficient hotel nice for all age groups. "

"Location was good, near the city centre, great amenities in the communal kitchen. A lot of spaces to hang out for big groups. However, can do better with the doors banging loudly and noise reduction is bad. Furthermore, I was told that I can't park my car even though the disabled lots were many and free and when I checked out the next day, there were cars not having disabled passes that were parked in the disabled lots."
