Find Hotels in Shenyang, China

10 minutes' walk from Shenyang station which is great. Extremely satisfied with our apartment. Good air conditioning which you don't get everywhere in mainland China. Gym got all the basics and open 24 hours. Right next to Taiyuan Street commercial street. Only weird thing is an apartment for 4 only includes breakfast for 2 so you'll have to pay extra. But that's clearly listed on the website when you book so can't complain!

I stayed at the Shenyang Double tree for four nights, nothing to complain about. Friendly staff, modern hotel, comfortable and clean rooms. The location is near to the city and surrounding buildings such as Wu Ai, which has 8 blocks of wholesale market, is the biggest in northern china (as claim by it's website). Metro line is about 1km away from the hotel. If you need some night snack, there are some street food and 24hr McDonald and KFC opposite the hotel.

It is located at the heart of Shenyang with few minutes walking away from the subway. The room is absolutely clean, however, there is not sufficient lighting for a business traveler who works at night in the room. The service was awful in this hotel. There was no staff explained how we can go up to different restaurant or rooms in such complex building when check in. During my stay, I tried the chinese restaurant, heat and water facilities in the hotel. The food and service were good in the restaurant. I enjoyed the environment a lot. However, the staff at the entrance of fitness made me disappointed. I went there 30 minutes before the closing time but I felt i was not welcomed as they were rushing to close it. I needed to reconfirm the closing them and requested for usage of sauna only before they "granted" me the entrance. I was also upset by the staff who helped me checked out. Previously I have already requested a late check out at 12noon via phone and nobody reminded me to create a new key at the front desk. As a result, my room was locked when i came back hotel at 11:45am. It may be a usual practice for many hotels but I didn't expect it in a five hotel without notice. From a guest's point of view, the service next door in Shangrila is definitely better than Hyatt. Where are the touches of Hyatt?!

I stayed for 2 days. The check-in and out was fast and fuss free. The price was excellent for a room that big and clean. While the furnishings were a little dated, the room was clean, big and comfortable. In particular, the bed was big, soft and comfortable (it looks bigger than a king size). This is a big plus for me because I really don't like the hard bed in typical Chinese hotels, which makes you feel like sleeping on a plank of wood. The location was also excellent. The hotel was situated right in the middle of Taiyuan Street, one of the two shopping belts in Shenyang. However, one bad thing was that the shops in Shenyang close real early - 2030hrs!! For business travellers like me, this was tough because by the time I finished all my official meetings and meals in Shenyang, most of the shops were already closed. But if you are travelling there for leisure, this is a good and reasonably priced hotel to stay in.

staying at the crowne plaza in shenyang was a nice experience, the corner room i had, had a comfortable layout, it was modernly designed and in good condition. service was also efficient and friendly, check-in and check-out was processed quickly. the breakfast was good, as in most of the crowne plaza hotels in china. near the hotel, out the main entrance, right hand side, was a tesco shopping mall with a starbucks, happy lemon, dq, yoshinoya. all in all the right mix of price and comfort, i'll be back next time.

Was taken in by the beautiful pictures and the environment in general. Was thinking in terms of a romantic weekend in the country but that did not happen. A typical convention Hotel slightly rundown with next to no-one speaking English. Rooms where very dark and carpets spotted all over. No Taxi service available, ore barely, to go into Fusion or Shenyang, especial at night, no gift-shop to even buy an Aspirin or cold Medicine. A rather ordinary Breakfast buffet namely geared to Orientals. Croissants were available, if you where willing to wait for it. If I comment any more, I will not be let in to the country!

I'm a single traveler all the time. I struggle to get to one place from another purely because I'm not a native Chinese speaker. I found the Gloria online and booked because of the reviews online. While I was staying in Shenyang, I had a spare morning, so I asked the reception staff to help me find a taxi to the zoo, because I wanted to see the Panda bears. They agreed immediately. All was good, I got to the zoo, but didn't realize the zoo was so far out of the city. I rang Gloria from the zoo and asked them to send a taxi out to the zoo to collect me. I had to be at the airport in only a couple of hours. Gloria agreed to handle my "situation" immediately. Which they did. Only a short time later, the taxi did indeed arrive, with one of the reception staff in the taxi! He greeted me at the entrance to the Zoo with a large overcoat asking me if I was Ok. I was astounded at how friendly and helpful the entire reception staff were. We eventually got back to Gloria, but the traffic was very congested, so the helpful young Gloria man offered to run down to the Hotel on foot and retrieve my luggage that the hotel was keeping for me. By the time we arrived in the taxi to Gloria's front door, the young man was waiting there with my luggage. Truly, I kid you not, I've never been treated so well by an organisation such as Gloria in Shenyang, in Liaoning Province, in China. If you want a professional reference for any of the reception staff there, I'm here to give it to you now. I cannot reccommend Gloria highly enough. If all the Gloria hotels are as helpful as the Shenyang Gloria, then I've stumbled over the most professional Hotel chain that I've had the good fortune to stay at. What a terrific group of very helpful people they are. Thank you for this opportunity to air my praises to you all at Gloria, Again, thank you. Oh, while I have the opportunity....... When one is looked after as well as I was, value for money means nothing.

i stay in this hotel because of extra activities that i needed to do in the city. the best about the hotel is that the subway station is only about 5 minutes walk south of the hotel. the plus of this 3 star hotel is that the front desk staff speak enough english to give you directions and other suggestions. there was no surprise to the room, except that as in any other ibis that i stayed in my journey in northern china, only paper cups are provided, but they provide 2 bottles of water per day. internet is working as it should (lan line, wifi in lobby area only).

Positive: 1. Very near the subway (Line 1 Huaiyanmen Station), just in front of Exit A. 2. There are several convenience stores available. 3. Location is good, within walking distance to attraction like Shenyang Imperial Place, Marshal Zhang Xueliang Mansion etc Negative: 1. Front entrance is opposite a rubbish disposal centre. Smell is bad when you are entering or exiting the hotel. Also make sure that you get room with window that not facing this rubbish dump. 2. Weak and unstable wifi. 3. Staff only understand Chinese, so communication will be a big problem if you do not speak Chinese. 4. The walls are partition by thin gypsum boards, so good luck if you have a noisy guest staying next door. 5. During my stay, there is this loud knocking sound that struck every few minutes till around 12am.

The hotel is great! Nice and spacious room with everything you need, but not my style of decoration. It's clean and comfortable. The hotel is attached to another hotel and at first is was a bit difficult to find the entrance. Hotel is close to shopping malls/Imax theater, but not at all close to touristic attractions. Taxis are available in front of the hotel, so not a big problem. Taxi from/to the airport about 70 RMB. Staff was really friendly and service minded! Not much English available though!

This was really quite a nice stay. Very modern and clean, well appointed and quiet. In-room facilities were great, complimentary tea and coffee (though no mini-bar), excellent bed and strong/hot shower. Also the internet connection was fairly fast via ethernet or WiFi (though sites such as Google and Facebook are blocked in the PRC- not the hotel's fault- so trying to find an English map of Shenyang was next to impossible). There were nice facilities such as an easy chair and eating area, a working desk and plenty of storage space. The food offerings were not fantastic and everything written only in Chinese which surprised me for an international chain like Holiday Inn. I wasn't able to read any menu but I did have the breakfast buffet which was adequate though nothing to write home about. Service was generally kind and helpful though the almost total lack of English speaking and even reading/writing skills really shocked me. I guess that's just China for you rather than the hotel though at a Holiday Inn I would expect the staff should be able to speak decent English. Overall a very decent stay. The lack of English written information and English-speaking staff is definitely lacking for a Holiday Inn 3.5-4 star property though. They ought to fix that.

All beds in dorms have a curtain for extra privacy and the lower bunks have extra space for your big bag to keep it out of the way of others. No personal lockers but it seemed like a safe place. Staff does not speak english very well but are polite and friendly. Location is 10 min walk from aubway station and nearby bus stop can take you to most places of interest. It may be worthwhile for staff to clarify that guests shouldn't barge in and talk loudly on phone @ 3AM for an hour. However, I think this was just my bad luck for having one of the most comically rude roommates on my last night.

Nice location, The hotel is located at the front of the north railway station of Shenyang, and near the subway,very comfortable. The staff can speak English. The room is good, the light in the bathroom was not working but we called the staff, then the staff came and changed it immediately. The Internet is very fast. There is a breakfast but We hadn't tried it yet!! Recommend to every body who want to visit Shenyang!!
