Siargao Island Villas
General Luna,Siargao Islands - View on map
"Siargao is one the best islands that I have been to, no doubt! It almost feels like you're not in the Philippines. The turquoise waters, the almost gold sands of the beaches, the adventures which I would not have experienced in any other beach paradise and most importantly, the people of Siargao. You guys are the best! Very friendly and helpful, also, the food that you've prepared for us are the best! I've been out of the country for 3 long years and this was the best welcoming feast! Siargao Island Villas is the best hotel to stay in, in my opinion. I like how clean the room is whenever we get back from our adventures. Fresh linens, fresh towels! Oh so good! Plus you can visit their famous Indonesian restaurant - Warung. Food is great! Especially that Pandan Crepe! That is to die for! When we come back to Siargao we'll definitely book this place again! and again! Beachfront is PARADISE! That's where my girlfriend said YES to me under the moonlight! This is the best place ever!"

Jonas & Twins Resort
General Luna,Siargao Islands - View on map
"First trip to Siargao so hard to compare to relative hotels. Hotel was nicely maintained. 3 mins trike from most everything. Large room and clean. Nice porch to sit on for sunrise. We had ocean view which was nice but garden view would also be great. Overall a nice place to stay with friendly staff. Reasons for not 5 star: Value: relative to other $100 hotels outside siargao it seemed like there should be more amenities. Location: it’s between downtown and cloud nine. So it’s a long walk to either restaurant or beach. But trikes are plentiful. Staff: very friendly but limited knowledge on places to eat, visit, surf, etc. Facilities: nice and new. Loved the Balinesian feel. But tv stations we sporadic. In room chairs look great but hard to sit on due to hardwood angles. On the plus Air con was powerful. Mosquito net was helpful. Very comfortable place. Not sure you can do better in Siargao at this price level. "

The Village Siargao
General Luna,Siargao Islands - View on map
"The villa was beautiful and had everything that we needed from toiletries, to towels and beach towels provided for us to bring during our tour. From the moment we checked in, we were already impressed by the service provided. We had cold towels and welcome drinks which we really appreciated because it was a hot day. They were attentive and nice. Internet was fast. Tv has cable. The aircon works well. The comfort room has a bidet and rainshower. The kitchen has a microwave and small ref and all the silverware you will need. There are only a few downsides to this beautiful accommodation. -You can't cook. It wasn't a problem though as we enjoyed dining out in General Luna and there is this newly opened JT's Manukan and Grille owned by the actor JoelTorre, right beside the Village Siargao which offers authentic Bacolod chicken. -Location. It is around 7-10 minute tricycle ride from town. Fare in GL is a min of 20 pesos but heading to Village Siargao, we are charged 50. -Brownouts. "

Vivo Inn
General Luna,Siargao Islands - View on map
"Vivo Inn is one of the best places to stay in Siargao, Philippines. As a solo traveler I’m always looking for comfort esp with bedspaces/rooms and it’s environment. Safety isnt a problem at Vivo Inn. The staff are amazing, welcoming and literally helpful with all your needs with airport transfers and their service. One thing I loved about my stay was the Bistro that you don’t have to walk far to find food esp in the morning, for coffee lovers like me and you can actually lounge outside and just relax before doing the activities in the island. Lastly, the location is perfect coz it’s along the strip and if you are a solo traveler going to the beach is accessible so does the party places/bars at night that some of them are just walking distance. Forgot to mention you can always rent a bike/motorcycle at the reception when you arrive for your convenience on exploring more of the island. x"

Club Tara Resort
Socorro,Siargao Islands - View on map
"Our much anticipated trip to Siargao exceeded our expectation. From the remote location to the extreme hospitality that greeted us- Club Tara is definitely a special place.Club Tara May not have what you would expect in a conventional resort as far as amenities , but the staff has added such personality and pride that no amount of luxury and technology can replace..no doubt that Club Tara has our highest recommendation -and if you’re looking for a knowledgeable island guide- ask for Bonga- and she’ll show you the local vibes!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

More about Siargao Islands

Locally known as the surfing capital of the Philippines, Siargao Islands is a popular destination not just for domestic but international surfers, as well as beach goers who want to relax for a few days under the sun.

Sayak Airport serves many direct flights from Cebu a few times a week, and there are several hotels and guesthouses within easy reach of the airport. Most hotels in Siargao Islands also offer airport transfer services to make the transition smoother.

One of the most popular destinations on the island is definitely General Luna, where the opportunity to surf on Cloud Nine draws a steady stream of visitors year-round. Cloud Nine is one of the most famous surfing waves, not only in the Philippines, but around the world. In addition to being the premier surfing destination on this island, it’s also where the majority of the mid-range and budget accommodations are located, perfect for backpackers or the wallet-conscious vacationer. When not surfing or taking in the rays, hop over to Del Carmen via Dapa Ferry Terminal and spend a few hours exploring mangroves. This is a favorite activity especially among nature-enthusiasts and eco-tourists, so there are plenty of tour guides to help the novices navigate this impressive natural landscape.
