"My family and I stayed at hotel boss for 4 days in a family room with balcony (good for 4 pax).Over all the hotel room is brand new since the hotel just started last year. Everything are still crisp. Staff are all nice, helpfull, accomodating and smiling. The location is great, there are 2 MRT stations near it (Bugis Statiob and Lavender Station) which is about 5 minutes away through walking and a bus stop just right outside the hotel door. Mustafa center and bugis shopping mall is near. There are also tourist attractions near the area like Haji Lane wall art and Mosques. There is a 24/7 fast food chain (food clique) within the hotel premises which I find convenient because you don't have to worry getting hungry after a long day walking around singapore. A money changer, convenient store, restaurants, winery, and souvenir shops are also in the premises. I just hope they would maintain its cleanliness and beauty. Our room is small though for a family of 4. Our big suitcases can't just be open all the time because it'll obstruct our walk way and there is no closet. And also you have to request for a "Do not Disturb" sign, sometimes they're running out of it. Room lighting is nice and the wall art at the bed frame is beautiful. The balcony is big and spacious. Bathroom is nice, and clean with amenities; no bidet spray though. Shower temperature is good. Room is complete with compact fridge, tv, safety box, water boiler, and compimentary coffee & tea. The bed is good, didn't feel any back pain and good fluffly soft pillows. Nice hotel amenities with their pool overlooking Singapore Flyer and the tip of Marina Bay Sands. Generally the Hotel is at great great location, brand new, best value for money, and comfortable place to stay. I would choose to stay at this hotel again once I'm back in singapore. I would rate this hotel 9/10 👏👏👏👍. My family had a great time and payment is hassle free thanks to agoda ☺️👍. Satisfied guest here! Great Job Hotel Boss! "

"Singapore hotels are never inexpensive, but once you get past that fact, Mercure Singapore is good value. The hotel is quite new and adjoins a similar Novotel Hotel in the same complex. There are 5-6 restaurant choices affiliated with the two tower complex with a range of cuisine choices. Seems a popular choice for Airlines crews (Emirates). Standard Room was quite small (typical for Singapore) but very efficient use of space. NO DESK. But wifi was v good, large lounge chair and bed allow for reasonable work space, along with lobby lounge area. Good business hotel."

"We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d"

"We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality. we relay appreciate every one of you! You are areal Pros! Best Regards, Daniel & Sarit "

"Hotel Royal offers value for money compared to similar four-star hotels. Although one of the oldest hotels in Singapore, Hotel Royal offers a family room that is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable to sleep on. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is also close to the Novena MRT station where accessibility is a must for faster and convenient travel to Singapore's tourist sites. There are many neighboring restaurants and eateries to choose from. Location at Newton St. is quiet and peaceful. The front desk staff are accommodating and friendly. "

" ok first off, good luck at finding a decent cheaper priced hotel in the center of singapore. my boyfriend picked our first hotel in singapore located in chinatown called the chinatown hotel and it was awful. thank god we only spent one night there. so our impression of singapore hotels was not so good. we prayed the v hotel would be better- and it was! don't expect a huge room, but do expect a nicely furnished, clean room with more than 1 channel on the tv, a safe, and plenty of hot water. they are like upscale dorm rooms, but with a nice pool in the middle courtyard. also i didn't see any roaches like i did at the chinatown hotel. i also can't say enough about the location- you could not be any closer to the subway than this! lavender is the metro stop. once you leave the station make a left into a food court and walk past it. once you get to the corner you will see it on your right- v hotel! also some of the food places in the food court are open 24 hours and are very tasty. plus the station is in direct route to the sia airport, raffles hotel, raffles mall, etc. we were only spending the night so we took the train from sia, spent the night, then took the first train the next day back to the airport which came at 6:30am. we arrived to the airport around 7am. it was so easy! i highly recommend this hotel to budget travelers, stop overs and short stays. there is no comparison to the price and value of this hotel. i will definitely stay there again! "The location is convenient for all type of travelers. The price is also reasonable. I booked and all the prices shown in SGD until I click submit button, then I found my total amount charged in USD with an very unreasonable exchange rate. I paid by SGD credit card issued by a Singapore bank to pay for a singapore hotel through a .com.sg web site, but charged in USD. same as other customers that when I emailed my enqiry on this issue, no reply first and followed by no direct answer from agoda at all. obviously cheat its customers this way. I checked with two other singapore local hotel booking .com web sites and called them to confirm that they will charge in SGD for any SGD credit card payment, comparatively i paid more and with a very unhappy ending. Beside exchange rate, this hotel is good in all aspect including its price range."

"I've mostly stayed in the 2, 3-star Singapore hotels for most of my travels there since I hardly use the rooms. But this time around, I decided to bump up and booked the York Hotel. Although it's probably a 5-10 min walk from Orchard Road, it's actually not that bad. Sits right beside the Hospital and across the boutique Quincy hotel. It's clean, looks classy, newly renovated it seems, so it's fresh and not as stuffy as the other 3/4-star hotel range. Overall, worth the upgrade of 50$ from your usual 100$-range hotel line. Cons, not a lot of cable channels, tub-size is same as other 3-stars, but much much cleaner. No free breakfast. But other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for those that don't want to spend for 5-star hotels, but want an upgrade from the 3-star range."

"If you are visiting Singapore & you are looking a cheap hotel that is nice & clean. I would really recommend Robertson Quay hotel to anybody who is going to visit Singapore. Although the room is a little bit smaller but cleanliness is 'five starred' & the location is pretty strategic. Behind this hotel you can see a river and there's this pedestrian walkway which leads to Clarke Quay, The famous spot for party goers (5-10 mins walk) & from Clarke Quay you can easily get an access to the public transportation like Buses & MRT."
