Sisaket hotels & places to stay

I've stayed in many hotels in thailand and for value this takes a hard beaten. It's located outside the city - 15 min walk - 5 min on motorbike. The hotel has a natural aura about it with trees surrounding the garden. There are small areas where table and chairs are spaced out around the garden so you can enjoy a quiet meal in private. The pool is sandwiched in between trees providing shade and peace while you swim. The rooms are pretty specious. I stayed in few different rooms during the week I was there. However I found the rooms closer to the pool had a better view and sense of belonging to it. The pricing policy is little strange. I preferred some of the cheaper rooms to those with higher asking price. But the cheaper rooms are always booked out. All that said, like anywhere else, the staff that enhanced my experience who were friendly with a sense of pride in taking care of you. A trait lost in the modern era. I'll never stay in another hotel in sisaket as long as this one stays open.

the boonsiri boutique hotel is a very pleasant place to stay in sisaket. the inside of the hotel is immaculately clean. the maids do a very good job. the rooms are just as clean. the biggest surprise about the boonsiri boutique hotel is the paint. if you don't like shades of pink, purple, and teal, you might want to stay elsewhere. other than feeling that i was staying in a dollhouse at times,i really enjoyed my stay at boonsiri boutique hotel. for the location and cleanliness it is a great deal. the room service was economical and tasty. the free wifi is very helpful and a nice touch. there is also a few small restaurants across the street. i will definitely stay here again.

first of all for those who do not know sisaket... a hotel here comes close to a hotel in bangkok so do not hesitate because it is cheap. normally we stay in the city center, but as this location just opened we wanted to check it out. the stuff is good advised but you can find out easy that most of them still more trainee than professional but very friendly. the hotel has an elevator which is a big plus. the room is small but has a lot of light and all you need. the arrangement is between modern and traditional we thing a very nice combination. the bathroom is the nicest we had so far in sisaket and we think we stayed in all hotels so far, but you never know. the location is confinement if you want to go somewhere over the day but as you are outside has no access to small shops or market or pubs. over all we really liked the ambiance and the silent location

(*)Staff were welcoming, helpful, hospitable and kind. (*)Grounds and garden were exquisite - the pond with shelters for dining and relaxing were beautiful.. (*)I stayed in a bungalow. Bed was queen size and comfortable. Room was clean and cozy with good wardrobe, mini fridge, plenty of power sockets, and front porch with table & chairs.. (*) Food was good, with Thai food, Isaan food, and some western food available. (*) located in rural district called Kantharalak in southern area in Si Sa Ket Province. Many agricultural plantations around. (*) 25minute drive to town, petrol station, supermarkets and convenient stores. (*) 30-60min drive to national parks, waterfalls and cultural attractions. (*) 1.5h-2hrs drive to nearest airport or major city (Ubon Ratchathani)

Aircon is cold , staff is friendly, but TV movies don’t have , all cannot see, because the tv is old and I ask the hotel people to check the tv , they say the tv old and have some problems to tv Wireless model so all room cannot see, I ask them to check another room they say all cannot see the movie, all the room the same problems, I book 2 night and tomorrow I will check out and cancel 1 night booking the hotel, will move to another hotel, I hope they will change new tv, the tv is 15 year Liao

Negative: They had to move me to a different room because water leaked from under the toilet when flushed. This can happen at the most expensive hotels, too. In the 1st room, all the lights did not work, in the 2nd some did not and some did and the TV did not work from the remote nor did the air conditioner. I think perhaps all remote batteries needed changing. I was okay without air conditioning in the 2nd room. After my Internet reserved and VISA paid for 3 days, at check out, the woman there (I had seen her the other days) tried to tell me (not ask) that I had not paid yet. When she discovered I had, she was extremely apologetic and genuinely sorry. Where was the paperwork that was there ready when I checked in? It was not her fault. There were bottles of free water and iced glasses in the refrigerator. Clean towels, bars of soap and shampoo were supplied daily and the bright, cheery room with floor to ceiling windows was cleaned daily. The location was 2 blocks from downtown and 1.6 kms. from my Church. I could walk to both. The shower was hot. I have stayed in $20 a night hotels and had much worse. It was quite accommodating--and who spends all their time in their hotel room? It's only for sleeping and changing clothes. I do not watch TV in hotel rooms. For $10 a night it was great, and being able to use basic Thai and a translator in my phone, I found the staff quite pleasant and helpful, e.g. in changing my room when I had the toilet problems in the 1st room. I strongly recommend it to anyone. It is not luxurious. It is $10 a night and a good bargain. More than sufficient. The Or-anong resort is one of the cleanest and better maintained resorts we have stayed at in Sukhothai and Sisaket Thailand. Positives: 1. Booking was simple and easy. 2. The resort is just off the main highway with signs (in Thai) clearly marking the entrance. 3. The staff was friendly and courteous. 4. A/C and shower heater quality products and looked new. Both worked very well. 5. Our room, including the bathroom, was cleaned daily. Fresh bedding and towels were also provided daily along with bottles of water. Ice was provided and made available 24/hr. 6. Nice and quiet. No roosters, other animals, or noise to keep one up. Negatives: 1. Bed was pretty hard. 2. Room was austere with only a table, 2 chairs, and a wall rack to hang clothes (no hangers provided). 3. wash basin had an automatic shutoff valve. Made it inconvenient when brushing teeth or shaving. We had a pleasant experience and would stay again.

The door to the room is in the patch, old room without any repair, old furniture, mold in the shower/toilet room, NOT hot water in the shower ( all buttons were swithed on correctly, maybe the heating element is out of order). Huge quantity of mosquitoes, when air conditioner was switched on mosquitoes became more than a/c was switched off.BUT comfortable bed,good pillows, nice comfortable chair, 7/11 store next door. Hospitable and helpful owner.

If looking for romantic setting, do not settle for standard room. Upgrade to small house or more, but i still recommend looking elsewhere also. Standard room has hard bed, is not clean, no wifi, and needs repair. Staff did not clean room on 2 nights (i had to go get fresh towels and soap). Expressed concern and was recommended upgrade at my own expense. Did so for last night. Room was cleaner/newer but had bug problem in bathroom. There is no food served here. Place could use some renovation, but was ok for a very poor part of Thailand.
