Where to stay in Sorrento
Sorrento hotels & accommodations

This was the best place to stay just 50 metres from the main Piazza and shopping. Very vibrant and lively area in the middle of Sorrento. It was great being able to walk a short distance to everything especially since we had a traveller with us who was on a mobility scooter. The hotel was lovely, clean and the staff were fantastic especially Veronica. We had a great st...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful Sorrento. Hotel situated along a passageway just off a busy main square. Is close enough to the square to be in the hustle and bustle within a minute - but sufficiently distant to not be disturbed by the noise (although the double glazing is excellent). Roof top sun lounge and small swimming pool gave stunning 360 degree views of Bay of Na...

We so enjoyed Hotel Regina in Sorrento mostly because the staff go out of their way to accommodate and anticipate your needs. Mostly, things were done for you before you asked😊The “Antonio’s” always we’re kind. Also, Giuseppe, the maitre d takes impeccable care of you. The breakfast food is divine, meant for both European and American discriminating tastes. Pope and ...

We stayed here 14/10 to 21/10/17. My partner had previously stayed at this hotel but it was my first visit so I could confirm if Sorrento is where to have our wedding next year. Luigi greeted us at the reception desk upon our arrival and we were very quickly settled into our room. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The loc...

We stayed at La Residenza for 3 nights and have to say really enjoyed our time there and recommend it and would come back again as it was great value for money. Positives: -the use of the pool located a couple of minutes walk through the hotels garden - the garden is very well kept and a lovely addition - the staff are very helpful especially the manager and Stella at...

If their was an option to give more than 5 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate to put more. They knew that we were checking out before 7 AM in the morning. They prepared breakfast early for us, and we came in and everything was ready and perfect. The food was delicious and was the best free breakfast from a hotel in Italy that we went to. I contacted the hotel 3 weeks before o...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - quiet with a short walk into town. The hotel itself is simple, stylish and clean. The rooftop terrace is lovely. The breakfast is beautifully presented, with a fair variety of choice. What makes the hotel great is the staff. They are all keen to help, taking time with the little things and they are so fri...

Perfect location with an amazing view. Staff were lovely, food was really good. Pool is lovely. Rooms good and bed very comfortable and spacious. good location as close to Sorrento town centre but far enough away to get away from it all. Perfect Holiday, made all the better for staying at this Hotel.

The room was clean, breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. The location of this hotel is close to Marina Grande, a great spot for dinner is Emilia, but not that close to downtown Sorrento or the port. If you go with your family this is a great area, however if you go with your friends and you would like to party this is not the place for you. I went with my f...

We originally booked a standard king room but were very disappointed with the quality so chose to upgrade. The upgrade to Executive was significantly more expensive but arguably worth it - brilliant. Reception was often understaffed and a bit hopeless (several times we waited > 15 mins to be served). However, some individuals were excellent and seemed to get the ide...

Although the hotel is a little away from center of Sorrento, the walk home is a time to relax and see the change in scenery. The walk into Sorrento can be varied to include a level walk past the fine clifftop hotels and views. The pool area is large and very relaxing. The view across the Bay of Naples to Mt Versuvious from my room was fantastic (level 5) and the roofto...

Conveniently located near Train. Cheap parking within walking distance. Shops n restaurant less than 5 mins walk. Clean and new rooms with smart TV! Host, Pasquela was very helpful with information. Really felt comfortable here. Will really reccommend for those looking for a place to stay in Sorrento.

La Solara remains my favorite hotel in Sorrento. The staff are second to none: They are always extremely helpful and always pleasant, friendly and interactive- nothing is too much trouble- kudos to Fabio, Massimo, and Tina at the front desk and Marcello is always attentive in the dining room. The cleanliness of this facility is outstanding.

My friend and I had booked independently, we had travelled in Rome Naples then Sorrento. La Meridiana was an excellent 3 star Hotel. It has a lovely elegance, very well kept with friendly helpful Staff. It has a bright modern décor. The breakfast is adequate ham, cheese, scramble egg, bacon, biscuits, pastries, yoghurt, fruit juices and tea how the English like it with...

Peaceful, lovely beach, lots of areas to sit. Everything thought of - beach towels, shoes, snorkels goggles, canoe. Staff helpful & friendly. Our room was spacious & comfortable & food good. My only ( small ) complaint would be the awful music played in the restaurant. Otherwise perfect!

Had a pleasant experience liaising with Marino via WA for arrangement on the airport transfer and day trip from Sorrento. He was very responsive in communicating and so helpful in answering all the queries given. Highly recommended place to stay in Sorrento.

my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at il nido and would stay there again. you cannot have a better view in sorrento. the food at the restaurant is brilliant and we ended up having most of our meals there. the bathroom could be a bit better but overall our stay was excellent. who runs the hotel is very helpful and the stay is special because of his attention to d...

This hotel may be rated a two star hotel, but the man that runs this hotel is a 10! He is the most helpful and nicest person that I have met in a long time. His recommendations for dinners were spot on with what we were looking for as well as not breaking the budget. He was so helpful in telling us how to get around, where to find an atm, best modes of transportatio...

Mentioned above, no direction made before arriving, without doubt made me pass this hotel. Had to walk back and screen each block to find out hotel during evening raining.Location, food, cleanliness were standards except non-adjustable heater and felt cold in night.

Excellent location - within walking distance of train station, conveniently located near the embarking point for ferries. Loved the room with Mediterranean decor and balcony overlooking the streets and Piazza Tasso. Lovely breakfast spread with served by very friendly staff. In the evening, you can take a nice stroll down to the nearby Marina Grande for excellent seafo...

Arriving in Sorrento by train, the hotel is just a short walk from the station making it easy to find and convenient for those traveling with heavy bags. The hotel staff was cordial and helpful. The hotel is simple, but offers good quality at a reasonable price and is well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety. I would certainly stay there a...

Comfortable room, great location-literally feet from the train station, friendly staff & good breakfast. Only draw back was the stairs we had to climb up to get to our room and the initial waiting outside the property to wait to be met by the staff.

Our stay in Sorrento was great. Happy Flat was a fantastic place to stay. Very close to all the great restaurants and shops in Sorrento. Fulvilo was awesome and provided us with great service and I would recommend this apartment. We would love to visit again one day.

This hotel is close fro a port. If you are thinking to go to Capri, this hotel is the best one. it took us to go to the port only for less than 5 minutes. It takes for 20 minutes to Capri by ferry. Sorrento is beautiful town. You need to walk up many steps but it is not too hard. ( We are older than 60 year old) We had beautiful breakfast looking beautiful view. Staff...

We stayed here for two nights. We arrived to be greeted by Francesco the owner with a warm and friendly smile and lemoncello. The B&B was immaculate and spotless and we were shown to our room. I would highly recommend staying here when in Sorrento. Clean, modern, fab bathroom and a friendly knowledge host who gave us good restaurant options as well. The location is ex...

The room and bathroom is big and clean. Location is the best!!! Staffs are friendly and very helpful. The view from the balcony and terrace is 5 stars .Breakfast at MOMO is superb. We can't ask for more from this place. There are only 3 or 4 guestrooms at this place. So, it is almost your private balcony and terrace. We will definitely come back.

We stayed four nights at the villa Oriana Relais and loved every moment. The setting overlooking Sorrento is breathtaking. We were greeted warmly by the staff and the owner. We can say that it was one of our best small hotel experiences. Our room was beautiful, with a sofa and terrace surrounded by orange and lemon trees. The breakfast was amazing, a combination of s...

Our stay was perfect. We found the location and friendliness of the owners and staff excellent. Our room was the deluxe room, with high ceiling and very spacious, clean, well presented. Our breakfast was delivered every morning at exactly the time we had requested it, placed on our balcony for us to enjoy Sorrento main piazzo coming to life. The owners were so helpf...

We had a lovely stay, and extended by two nights. The location is restful and a 15 bus ride from Sorrento train station. Buses run often, but not at nights. Taxi is Very expensive, so ask sisters about walking path to city. Great location for day trips to Amalfi coast cities and Capri. Waking up to rooster, beautiful sea view, nice breakfast. Staff also nice.

Close to sorrento train station and main square; approx 5-10mins. Reception is only open from 8am-8pm. We came at 10pm and we weren't aware it was closed so had to call to arrange someone to meet at the hotel. Staff were very helpful with tips for boats, buses and trains to Amalfi, Capri and Pompeii. Can get a bit noisy as walls thin. Otherwise, lovely clean rooms with...

We stayed for 6 nights with our baby. Great Location. Excellent Breakfast Free parking and free shuttle to Sorrento. Large room with huge balcony. Quiet, romantic and family hosting. Angela the owner, Luiza, Tony and Fernando was amazing and helped us with every request. Warmly recommended, thank you for the hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was a simple bungalow but it was nice having a fridge and stove and table etc to have meals at. There was no fan or air con which was fine when we were there, but may have been a problem in hotter months. The pool and private beach are nice but the restaurant is nothing special. It is a little way out of town but there are busses....

This was a lovely hotel. Its well located around a 15 min walk from the main shopping/restaurant/tourist area. Owned by a friendly family who were all very helpful. The breakfast was great including fresh orange juice, pastries, cereals, fruit and coffee served in the garden. One of the few hotels in Sorrento that include parking which is a big plus. The room was large...

PROS: - Linda is a doll, always smiling, gave us water when we left for the road, reminded us to use the bathroom before our long journey - she is the exactly the sweet little grandma in one's imagination! If she can't communicate with you, her granddaughter Debra is completely fluent in English - 10min walk from train station (see CONS below) - lovely eatery opposite ...

Very short walk into town center, has almost park like garden setting in the back. The property itself is a bit dated but is kept up very clean. We had a room with 3 beds and a balcony for 3 adults and didn't feel cramped at all. If you are looking for an affordable base for your Sorrento stay, can't do any better!

Our stay at Hotel Minerva was so relaxing. The balcony overlooking the ocean was large and comfy with sunlounges for relaxing. The view was amazing. The shutters and windows cut out the noise from the street and A/C worked well.Free WiFi. The only downside was the bed - a bit hard for our liking. There was a bus at the door but not very frequent. A hotel shuttle servic...

The hotel is set high in the hills and if you get one of the front rooms you'll have a great view of Sorrento. It's set on large lovely grounds. Because of the narrow streets you can't walk into town so you have to use the hotel's shuttle service which operates a couple of times a day. Otherwise you can take the bus into town. Breakfast was substantial and the waiters ...

Beautiful hotel with fabulous views over Sorrento in a great location. It is about 10min walk into the centre, which is great to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Lovely pools, with lots of sun beds so you didn't have to get up early to secure a bed! (We went in early June though) You are provided with towels, so no need to bring your own. The ro...

wonderful hotel in a great location..we have stayed there 6 times in total and truly appreciate the staff and the comfort of the hotel not to mention the wonderful breakfast... the rooftop pool has breathtaking views of the Sorrento Bay and just cannot be beaten for value for money

We left a hotel before the end of our stay and went to hotel capri. They were friendly and welcoming. Always happy to assist. The breakfast was ok and the pool, although smallish is big enough for swimming and Sun baking. Very happy with our stay. The rooms are on the smallish side but comfortable. We booked a room the night before and got it for a great price.

The location was very bad if you need to stay few days in sorrento!!!the view was spectacular but by driving you need 20 minutes to go in the center by car,The reception guys were very nice and gentle the waiter very bad service coffe very bad and food very poor and not good for a 4* hotel and the price very high at this time you could find hotels near the center for 7...

I can't tell you how many reviews we read before choosing hotels for our trip. We were delighted with our choice of the Hotel Plaza in Sorrento. the hotel has got personal with out being too person down to a t. its all about romance and relaxation. the views from the breeze bar will take your breath away. the rooms are large with a very reasonably priced mini bar. all rooms have a terrace or balacony which adds to your space. there is a shuttle service to and from sorrento main square and it runs often enough...

View over Sorrento. Free parking for scooter, which was good to have to be able to reach the city- eventhough walking to city is ok, if you are normal level fit. They have shuttle service to couple of the best restaurants in town though. If you have time to just lie in the sun, then the roof top sun beads do the job. Small but adequete pool in one of the levels. I thi...

we loved this hotel. the view and private balcony from every room in the hotel is such a treat. all rooms have ocean views and the views from the restaurant and breakfast room are simply indescribably beautiful. the food was very authentic, well priced and fresh. free wifi was great and the service was very helpful and always with a smile. the location is great just ou...

Melania is very helpful! The location is near to the train and bus station, as well as the city centre. Very good price! and breakfast is simple one, bread n coffee:) Only one remainder for disability or travelling with baby stroller, there are steps.
Luxury hotels in Sorrento

A really excellent hotel Ideal location, 5 minutes walk from the centre of Sorrento but so peaceful and quiet. Staff and friendly and willing, breakfast excellent and the terrace restaurant for dinner is a must. Not cheap, but in life you get what you pay for.

As a couple celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we spent 5 nights here at the end of April 2017. The room was as advertised on agoda, as was the price (several hundred euros cheaper that a similar holiday booking website). The room was perfect for our needs with wonderful views over the Napoli Bay. The double glazing kept any noise out at night, and the blinds w...

Sorrento.... its really Wow, my BF and I is very adventurous we never heard about Sorrento what we always heard is Napoli, Capri and Pompeii, surprisingly I made a choice to Look for a nice hotel in Sorrento because at first we landed in Napoli I don't like the place dirty and old.
Sorrento is truly beautiful - a town built on top of enormous cliffs. A must visit is to Pompei which is about 1.
Unfortunately I did not spend much time in Sorrento. Agoda sold us this hotel as Sorrento, but it is not in Sorrento.
We enjoyed hanging out at the beach and a bit of snorkelling, hiring boats, kayaks etc. a day trip to Pompeii is a great idea.
I loved Sorrento the city has retained its old world charm. The energy of Sorrento is exciting and the shopping & dining are fabulous.
