"I was travelling to Brittany, France from Surrey, England. The train journey from Surrey to Southend upon Sea needs to be carefully creafted to avoid spending hours in the train and London underground. But when you have reached there, the hotel is 200 m from the airport train station and 100 m from the departure area. I arrived quite late and check in was quick and efficient. The hotel is brand new, and catering for that type of transit passengers, the restaurant closes at 10 or 11 pm but you do have a rooftop bar open till after midnight serving food. Extremly convenient."
