Where to stay in St. Andrews
St. Andrews hotels & accommodations

The Hotel du Vin is a small and fabulously located hotel on the sea about a block from the Old Course. The front desk staff is welcoming and professional, while the rooms are nice and clean. One might consider it rather quaint compared to the Old Course Hotel or the Fairmont, but the location can't be beaten. The breakfast is served in tut front room over looking the ...

We stayed 1 night. The hotel was an ideal location as we were visiting Kingsbarn whiskey center. Our room was a larger 2 double beds with a sea and golf course view (1017). Excellent bathroom and amenities. We ate in the bar for our evening meal and the food was good. The breakfast which was included in the price was excellent, a large choice and all very fresh. The s...

We booked a superior double room which we considered not to be the case as it had a very busy trunk road on both sides with heavy traffic all night long. There were cobwebs on the light in the small hall between our bedroom and ensuite bathroom and the bed was VERY uncomfortable, with a coin under one foot for some reason. Breakfast was very average. We booked a 2 n...

The hotel was very friendly. Great location and breakfast was good. Room very small too warm and a bit frayed at the edges. It’s not cheap to stay in St. Andrews. The room was very very dusty especially on the walls above bed. Lots of cobwebs and just a bit shabby. This is certainly not ”getting what you pay for”

Very friendly staff and a nice, well run hotel. Rooms are quite small but perfectly adequate for a night or two. Apart from the bedroom windows needing a clean, everything else was perfect. The downstairs sitting room with fire and whisky selection was a welcome refuge from the bracing coastal wind!

I have stayed in several hotels in St Andrews and cost is often the issue with high prices at several of the more well known hotels. I chose this on the basis of its location and cost and was not disappointed. Reviews elsewhere had highlighted the night club underneath the property but, on a Wednesday night this was not an issue (presumably only open weekends?). Parkin...

We stayed for 2 night at their 5 bedroom apartment. The best thing about the accommodation is the rate is very low as compared to others. Since we travelled in group, it was very fortunate of us to find a unit that can accommodate us all. Location is OK if you are going because of visiting St Andrews and you have transport. Check in and out process were very fast. Room...
