Sydney hotels & accommodations

Loved this hotel for the value for money being the most affordable 5 star hotel in Sydney. Great room with a reasonable view, close to places to eat and shop (except on weekends when they seem to close due to being in the business district), excellent friendly staff willing to help whenever necessary

We enjoyed our Stay at Rydges World Square Sydney Hotel where we stayed for five days and four nights. The location of Rydges World sydney hotel is very strategic and very close to transportaion, attractions, Hyde Park, shopping malls, restaurants, pubs and groceries. The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable and the lobby was very inviting.

Darling Harbour is only a a 15 minute walk from Metro Aspire. I was here for work and had to be at the ICC daily and the walk was very easy. There are very good priced places to eat nearby and the Gum Tree (restaurant at Metro) also has a very reasonably priced menu (compared to places at Darling Harbour). Closest public transport is the light rail which is about a 10...

Our two night stay at the Metro Central was good and comfortable. The hotel was close to the airport (2 minutes and approx $14 shuttle ride) and within a 20-40 minute walk were attractions like Darling harbour, Circular Quay / the Rocks, Opera house, many shopping malls and China town - we didn't use public transportation at all although there were plenty of options. T...

Hotel location is very good, walking distance to Sydney town tourist spot, such as Sydney tower, St mary's cathedral sydney, Chinatown, Paddy's market, Darling harbour side, and Town hall MRT station and so on... Cleanliness of hotel room is 10/10 provide daily room cleanning sevices... The room interior design is comfortable and look like new... provide mini frige, ...

My stay was good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are nice and the hotel is in great shape. Can't beat the location on Darling Habor (highly recommend a room with a harbor view). My only down comment applies to all hotels in Sydney and Australia - the price of breakfast (AU$30 for continental and AU$35 for full) is outrageously expensive.

Booking the Executive Room-City View at a really affordable price via Agoda is quite a steal. The room is spacious, the city view is indeed excellent, and the breakfast is sumptuous with enough choices. One minor draw down is the 10-12 min walk from the hotel to the train station. It is just near when we do not have our luggages with us, but if you have huge suitcas...

Stayed overnight only, however was greeted with friendly smiles. I have stayed at most of the deluxe 5 star hotels in Sydney and this would have to rank in the top 5 along with the four seasons, Shangri-la, Intercontinental and the Westin. Modern clean and friendly without being pretentious. The only downer was our bathroom tv not working properly it could have been a ...

This hotel was no frills but it had everything we needed. We didn't come to swim in a pool or receive room service, so if you are looking for that look elsewhere. Our 1 bedroom family suite housed 2 Adults and 3 Tweens, with an additional bed provided. I loved that the hotel also ensured we had 5 cups, glasses and towels to accomodate extra person. Conveniently loca...

I would certainly stay at this hotel again. Great location near the CBD Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful - available on hand 24 hours a day. Rooms were tidy and clean - boutique. Breakfast was included and good value. A mixture of clientelle - old and young. Internet facilities - however there is an internet shop close by. Approximately 20 mins by train from...

My wife and I and my 1-year old baby spent a 8-day holiday in Australia and stayed at QSW Sydney for total 5 nights, 3 nights in the begining and 2 nights at the end and then another 2 night in Gold Coast. In the early morning leaving to Gold Coast, it is a rush for us to catch the domestic flight, we left our latest Samsung Galaxy II mobile on bed. In the airport, we...

Swissotel is definitely not the cheapest of hotels in Sydney, but as they say, you get what you pay for. We had a very good first impression of the hotel with the courteous concierge on the street level. The Nespresso machine in our Club Advantage Room was brilliant! Perfect for early-morning and mid-afternoon perk-me-ups. Very close to shopping districts and all major...

This was just the best ever. Our apartment was fantastic. Our view went right to Sydney centre. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was terrific. Everything was just right. We almost always book with Agoda and I wish everyone would - I know from experience they source the best rooms in each establishment and their Specials are special.

The stay at Silkari was fantastic with a lot of cafes and restaurants around the corner. Very near to Westfield for shopping and Coles supermarket is at the basement of the mall. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was made to shorten my trip from 9 nights to 4 nights at Silkari. Was doing my checkout on my last day in Sydney and I told the front desk lady, i p...

I had a more than pleasant stay at the Fraser Suites Sydney Hotel. For a start, I arrived at the hotel before check-in time but was given a room without any hassle so that I was able to get a short rest after my overnight flight. The room was spacious unlike most standard hotel rooms and it was stylish and functional. Everything that I needed was pretty much in place s...

Pros: Hotel location is close for you to walk conveniently between Wildlife Sydney Zoo, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Aquarium, Sydney Tower Eye, the luxury stores and groceries at Pitt St and the QVB. The receptionist was kind to give us a room upgrade so we really loved the space provided for us. Amenities include toiletries (except dental), towels, hairdryer, mini fridg...

I recently returned to stay at one of my favourite Sydney hotels. The Grace is just that, gracious, welcoming and comfortable with a touch of class. For Art Deco devotees its a must. I requested a room with a bath and enjoyed a luxurious soak in the large well appointed bathroom. With heavy rain keeping me indoors I ordered room service and was pleased with the quality...

Travelodge Sydney Hotel is perfect for first time visitors to Sydney, returning visitors and the like. It's easily accessible location ( from the airport) and closeness to everything makes it the perfect hotel. Trains were only a few minutes walk away (Museum Station), buses, monorail and light rail were also within short walking distance. Rooms were adequately siz...

Scroll through the comments below and you will see that my name comes up often. The reason: this is the BEST hotel in Sydney. From the front door service to the comfortability of the rooms, you'll never go past this hotel. Everything is immaculate. Recommended for couples or for singles wanting to relax in style... This is now my regular Sydney hotel.

We were very pleased with the hotel, it is located in a good area, with lots of plubic transportation, shops, malls and restaurants It is a 5-10 min walk to Chinatown and if you like to walk it is around 25min to Sydney Opera (around 3km) The room was huge, lots of space, really a lot of space in the one we stayed (520), also a huge wardrobe and bathroom, flat screen...

Booking Veriu Central is one of the best decisions I have made during my preparation for our recently concluded trip to Sydney. The room rate is very reasonable given their location. It is located at CBD and is few blocks away from the tourist spots and restaurants. We were able to access lots of places by walking because of the strategic location of the hotel. The...

It’s just a short stay for us. From reception to concierge, every member of Sofitel has shown their professionalism and passion. They were able to attend to ur needs and details. I always like the fragrance they choose. The bed is ultra comfy and the linens are soft and silky. We can walk to China town, CBD and circular quay (within 20-30 mins but it’s a nice walk esp ...

Zara Tower is a perfect place to stay if you wan to go around Surry Hills area. It is only a 5 minute walk to the train station or nearest bus stop to the Harbour attractions. Hyde Park is also at most a 5-minute walk. The staff are courteous and helpful. They provide pillows that meets your needs/comfort which is one of the unexpected best part of the stay. I booked...

I was there during end of May 2017, with my wife and a young child. The location is great. Woolworth is just nearby. Walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. I have searched a lot other hotels in Sydney, and Primus is by far the best value for the size of room they offer. I booked Deluxe King but I was lucky to get an upgrade to Executive room for free. ...

I suprised my boyfriend for valentines day booking the hotel. It was a wonderful suprise and a beautiful experience they upgarded us to a suit and oh my god it was amazing. The room had three tvs one in the lounge, the other in the bedroom and one in the bath! It was sound a relaxing atmosphere we only left the room to eat dinner. The staff at the hotel were always ver...

There is no argument that Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour is in a really good location. For those who travel with rented vehicles like me, the parking is $50 a day. Considering that parking is crazily priced everywhere in central Sydney, the price is reasonable. The Australian Maritime Museum is just 5 mins walk away, followed by the zoo, aquarium and Mdm Tussaud's. ...

The location was perfect as we were in Sydney for a day at the Sydney Cricket Ground and a night at a show in Oxford Street. The twin single room was clean and modern and ideal for a quick overnight stay but a little small if you intended spending more time in the room. Great standard of facilities at a very reasonable price (for Friday night in Sydney). Only downside ...

I stayed with them for 7 nighys. The reception ladies are very helpful. My room is small in size, but it has basic things i needed. The rate is very low compare to other hotel. At this price, you will not expected luxury room bla bla. Because i am here for a budget travel. So the room is acceptable for me. Level 4 is quiet on the night, i didn't hear any noise fr...

Excellent stay. Had stayed at other hotels in Sydney, but Radisson was far superior. Staff were very friendly and helpful, recognized guests when they came in, helped with luggage and groceries, made guests feel welcome. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Rooms were well equipped with fridge, kitchen supplies, and were spacious and comfortable. Excellent location, cl...

I booked a one night stay here for my birthday and I'm really happy I chose this hotel. I got a great deal: the Stay, Park and Play which included parking and breakfast. At check-in, the staff were lovely and upgraded my room to a park-view instead of a city side room. I had originally booked a king bed but the upgrade was a room with 2 singles. I called to enquire i...
Cheap places to stay in Sydney

So close to the train station and great location. Neighborhood gets a little noisy on the weekends, and there are strip clubs across the street. I did not mind this at all, but I know some people would. I stayed in the summer and there was no a/c but there was a really good fan. I had a great time there and felt very safe!

Summer House Staff is lovely!! Big shout out to Georgia and Jana. Very warm welcome in Summerhouse. +Amazing social hostel, good location, free brekkie, clean rooms, activities. - The showers could be better - at some point boiling hot or freezing cold but rarely something in between. There is one or 2 showers where you can actually regulate the temperature :-) But a...

Much the same as any backpacker. The secret garden is the main attraction that sets it apart - cool socialising factor ++. Internet works, and there is a big bank of clothes washers. Clean rooms with high security door locks, big steel lockers in room. Very good. I found it quieter than the heart of the city, so got a good sleep. Around the corner there is 2 hour stre...

It's the best hostel that I have ever experienced in Sydney. It's clean, quiet and comfortable. It's very near form the central station and very convenient to get everywhere. There is a park in front of it and feel very safety during the night. I have recommended to many friends and they all spoke highly of it.

Friendly and helpful service. There were quite a few that seemed to have stayed there for a while already.A strong family atmosphere. It was also safe despite being in kings cross, as there were passwords and keys to every door to your bed. I would definitely go there again if im visiting sydney.

Thank you guys for contributing to this quick trip to Sydney with my son being so memorable - hotel and restaurant are a germ! Spending time on the hotel roof terrace playing cards and eating ice-cream while waiting for check-in, lots of bubbles coming out of a tavern, a joke from chef that did not go as intended, oven reheated left overs kebab chips and meats served n...

i have spent 7 days in this hotel. we stayed in double bunk bed room .. small rooms... small bathroom... clean and newly renovated... kitchen with all equipments... tv room available... it has all basic facilities required in hostel and backpackers... helpful staff... cant talk loud after 10 pm... 5 mins walk from the beach and all restaurants... 50$ per day per day i...

1) we were able to check in before 2pm as we arrived earlier than expected. the front office staff were extremely friendly and efficient with providing us a cbd map, they would also take the initiative to google a place for us if they were not familiar with it. 2) we were staying on the 6th floor double decker bed, the size of the room would fit the bed and two cup...

It wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t as bad as what others said in their reviews. Maybe they were expecting something like a 5 star hotel in a hostel. One of the cheapest hostels in Sydney and you also get to save on transpo since everything is walking distance. It is regularly cleaned everyday. Facilities great. My favorite are the staff. Special mention to Diego, Angelo, ...

we had four nights in jolly swagman. initially, i am worried after running through some bad reviews of the hotel eg: bad rooms v poor facilities, lots of night drunken etc. however, my overall stay is quite smooth and nothing much to complain given the cheap prices they charged. before arriving, i actually sent an email to jolly expressing my concern on the stay and ho...

This is probably one of the best hostels in sydney with a great atmosphere and modern facilities. I have met travellers from all over the world and enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Now the only problem was the fact that many of the guests (including me) were forced to change rooms due to group bookings and other reasons, it made it pretty inconvenient. The other issue was w...

This is a really lovely hostel. Located in Glebe, it's just a bus ride away from Sydney CBD. The hostel is very clean (dorm rooms are cleaned daily), warm, and comfortable. It has a very friendly, laid back atmosphere, and a nice communal space, making it easy to get to talk to others. The hostel also has a silence at 10PM policy, so if you like early nights this is...

The staff were wonderful! They were funny & helpful. The hostel had more items than other hostels I've been to. It was very clean. The only thing that annoyed me was how the lights in the shower kept turning off due to it being motion sensored. Showering in the dark at night isn't great. Otherwise, everything else was TERRIFIC about this place! Definitely would recom...

It is a good place in Sydney: cheap and good location. The kitchen in the evening is very dirty because the guys in the hostel they don't have any education about it. There is right that will be a fine of 50$ if you don't clean but at that time in the hostel there is any worker so no control. But all the rest is good and very nice atmosphere and the staff was very nice...

The accommodation is located in a great place, across the road from King Cross train station. It’s a little dated and worn but after being being welcomed by Kim that didnt matter. He was very polite and nothing was to much to make your stay comfortable. If we visit Sydney in the future we would stay again

Good- no problems, and they were able to check me in when I arrived early. Very clean, and nice staff. I was able to walk everywhere I went. It felt expensive to me, but compared to the general price of hotels in Sydney, it was reasonable, and I liked having a female-only dorm.

Great location, near to everything, all the good attraction within walking distance, location at the heart of sydney city, near 3 train station make it easy to reach all sydney public area. Have many restaurant, groceries around.. The price is really worthed. Just have no lift so we need to climb a stair but its okay compare to its great location.

1 min walk from Central Station. You can walk from Sydney Central Inn you can walk up to The Rock, passed the Hyde park, Australia Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral, Art Gallery of New South Wales, The Royal Botanical Garden, Sydney Opera House. Room is average (no aircon). Towels are provided with bath shower gel and conditioner. Common toilets are always tidy (I tried b...

Cronulla Beach backpackers is overall a great hostel where everything is possible. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly, and you're sure to find someone to have a chat or a pool game with at almost any time. This place really feels like home and I can only encourage you try it for yourself!

It gave me the wow effect. At first, the hostel looks unassuming one one corner within walking distance of Central Station. Reception Area looks dodgy with formica peeling off from cabinet. Then the dining area/lounge cum kitchen area with worn off furniture. But when we got to the room, we were very happy. It was clean, crisp, quite and basic with en-suite. Sheets and ...

Nice big common room with comfy sofas and big screen television. Free breakfast, tea and coffee is always nice. Staff and boss were very helpful and attentive. Dorm room, kitchen, bathrooms all clean and tidy. Ideal location right on coogee beach and next to cafes, takeaways and thai massage next door! No dramas whatsoever, definitely will be back again. Thanks

Value for money! Booked a double private room and the room was decent enough. There was a sink, a mini fridge, a simple clothes rack and a cabinet. There was a table fan but I feel that it is too small and we really can't feel the fan on hot days. Maybe a standing fan would be better. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Good location near Bondi Beach but the doubl...

I have stayed at this hotel for over 9 years and find it to be the best value, and maybe best kept secret (until now) for a convenient hotel in Sydney. Best view of the Bridge, but you need to request the Bridge side. Always request a high floor due to the train traffic noise as the station is only 50 meters away, which is a great benefit for transport, but can be nois...

Made a reservation at Urban Newtown at a great price and it did not disappoint. The room is indeed smaller than the regular hotel room but it has everything I need. Was amazed at how they can squeeze a kitchenette in a room like this. Staff was friendly and the complimentary pastries & drinks at the lobby was a pleasant add-on. Location of the hotel was perfect; within...

Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Check in was easy, the price of parking is absurd but I think it is standard for Sydney hotels. Found a nice place for dinner a short walk towards the nearby train station. Overall happy with our one night stay.

I was in town for a business trip, and was staying at the Westin (one of the nicest hotels in Sydney) on the company's dime. I decided to stay an extra day (wanted to get a Saturday night in) and so I moved to a more affordable place. The Kirketon is awesome -- small, but nice. No elevator, but you wont have to go up more than a few flights of stairs and the guys at...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, their was an enuite in the main room and another bathroom in the main area for the delux room (2 singles 1 double), their were locks on doors, a great view from the balcony, we could see a lot of sydney, including the city. their were great cafes and rstaurants to go to for breakfasts and dinners (alot of indian around but lovely) we sound...

We stayed on the 6th floor and I was SO impressed. I usually have a hard time sleeping in CBD Sydney hotels because the traffic noise keeps me up since I'm a light sleeper. Not a concern here. The rooms are very small, but if you're like us - it's just a pit stop. The bed was nice (small but was sufficient for us), very classy use of the space, the hotel itself is very...

Citigate Central Sydney is a well appointed, stylish and spacious central Sydney hotel. After extending our stay in Sydney the Quest Apartments were three times the size and at least half the price of the Boutique Hotel that we had stayed in the previous week. We are backpacking so an apartment is a great way to save money on dining out. My first hotel in Sydney was a disaster my room had cockroaches in at .. the check-in time for this hotel wasn't until 3 PM in the afternoon but because of my experience with my previous hotel they let me check in early incredible Front of house staff and the room was spotless thank you

loved the location of this hotel. it's a great, clean place close to a lot of eateries and the water. the rooms are really small and the walls a bit thin, but otherwise, it's convenient and clean, and it has free WiFi. couldn't really complain given the cost of other hotels in Sydney.

I stayed four nights at his hotel. As I walked towards the hotel entrance for the first time my heart sank when I saw the building site as well as road works taking place on the opposite side of the traffic lights, however once inside this hotel is decidedly quiet. It is very conveniently located, only three minutes walk to Wynyard Station and only a minute or so mor...

My family stayed here just for two nights but we felt right at home. The kitchen was complete -- oven, microwave, electric kettle, ice bucket, fridge, with all kinds of cookware and dinnerware. You also have your own washer and dryer. We were on the 9th floor and the view was spectacular. The only downside to this place, like most hotels in Sydney, was that interne...

We booked this hotel few days before our trip and we are very satisfied with the hotel. First of all, it’s a new hotel, just opened probably 2 months ago so everything is new. Love that the location is very strategic. Woolworth is only 2 mins walk away. There’s this amazing dessert place called KOI @ Chippendale is only 5 mins walk away. We went there 3-4 times during ...

-We were very glad to stay in Hyde Park as our very first travel in Sydney. The location was very good with lots of choices of restaurants just within 10 mins walk. Also, Darling Harbour is just 15 mins away and we found a great playground for kids to spend hours there. -We went to Brisbane , Gold Coast and Sydney this trip, throughout our trip in Australia, w...

I was pleasantly surprised by The Capsule Hotel. If you can deal with staying in a capsule I would definitely recommend it: the capsules, bathrooms and kitchen area is super clean with no imposing odours either. I had no problem getting access to a shower in the morning and was able to make my own breakfast in the kitchen area. A big plus also: THEIR WI FI IS BUI...

this hotel is located very close to darling harbor (5 min walk) so finding a nice place to eat is very easy. the service is really good. people at the front desk were always very nice and provided help whenever possible. the bed had no any support and made my back hurt. the tv is extremely small like a 16 inch computer moniter. we stayed at 25th floor so the vie...

It took me a while, browsing through tripadvisor & agoda reviews before settling with hotel stellar. I'm a solo traveler & there were a couple of concerns : location, convenience, & affordability. Location & Convenience : Hotel Stellar is located on Wentworth Ave, in between the city, where you can satisfy all your shopping needs & Oxford road, a vibrant cultural s...

My daughter and I had a fantastic time while staying for 2 nights at the Vulcan Hotel. The office staff were friendly, open and always at hand. They helped as when we needed it. There were food delivery services close at hand and had no difficulty accessing the hotel. The room we stayed in was excellent. Large TV, kitchenette, tea making facilities and comfortable chai...

A year ago, I went to Sydney and stayed elsewhere. In one of my adventures, I went to the Rocks and instantly fell in love with the place. During this trip, I checked out several hotels and among them, Holiday Inn Old Sydney fit every requirement that I had. Fortunately, my expectations were exceeded when I stayed here for 4 nights. I had a grand time (compared to my l...
Luxury hotels in Sydney

Loved this hotel for the value for money being the most affordable 5 star hotel in Sydney. Great room with a reasonable view, close to places to eat and shop (except on weekends when they seem to close due to being in the business district), excellent friendly staff willing to help whenever necessary

Arriving from the airport we were blown away by the position and the build of the hotel. Free mini bar and happy hour meant you felt welcome and didn't feel you were getting fleeced - ever. The position of the hotel in Sydney was first rate. 5 minutes to the Botanics,15 minutes to the Opera House and 20 minutes to Circular Quay - by foot! One of the best features was ...

We stayed at the Larmont the previous year and we were impressed with the convenient location, and having entertainment, food and bars a stone-throw away. Having lived in Darlinghurst many years ago, this is a familiar location. However, the level of detail with the room and top notch service was an added bonus. This time, we returned to the Larmont and we managed t...

Extraordinary hotel with all the bells and whistles! Amazing value for money - until everyone else on the planet finds out about it! Walking distance to Sydney Domestic Airport and/or a short 5-10 min drive (i.e. depending on traffic). Close to all amenities if you ever feel the need to leave. Based in a beautiful tree-lined street with views to the Sydney CBD and only...

We feel extremely lucky to have stayed at this resort. The customer service was fantastic. A big thanks to Nick the concierge. He was very knowledgeable about activities to do around Sydney and gave us a printout of instructions that made navigating through Sydney’s public transit system a breeze while also ensuring we never went through the same place twice. Furthermo...

Not having been in Australia before I did plenty of research on the areas and felt the best location would be a nice hotel in the circular quay area. I picked the Marriott because they generally have a solid reputation for accommodations. They did not disappoint. The location of this hotel can't be beat. It is steps away from the Harbor and all the favorites, The B...

Booked last minute and found a great deal on Agoda at the Pullman for a few nights. When we arrived, the reception was accommodating and friendly. The free breakfast was included and was a good breakfast buffet with lots of options. Hotel room was clean and modern. The view was nice and had a great look of Sydney night. Will look to come back in the future 👍🏻

My husband had work in Sydney and my Daughter and I tagged along. We arrived with my daughter still recovering from a fever the previous night and the lady at the reception has been very helpful and empathetic. However, during the night my daughter's fever reached 41degrees and we decided to cut our trip short and leave a day earlier to go home. Due to the last min bo...

My friend and I stayed in a twin room with an ensuite- a nice, comfortable room for a hostel. (Some kind of soap holder would have been appreciated in the shower, though the bathroom was clean and water pressure was good!). All the accomodation in Sydney was very pricey during the weekend of the stay- given the fact, the cost of the room was reasonable. Beds were quite...

This was a real gem. The moment I walked in, the staff let me know that I was important and that they wanted my stay in Sydney to be enjoyable. The concierge took the time to quickly show me a map of local interests. Bathroom - clean and spacious, bedroom - clean and spacious, power points - many. It really annoys me when I have to hunt for a power point for the lapto...

We spent 4 nights at Adge as two guys mostly looking for nightlife. We'd both visited Sydney on prior occasions and were less concerned with the more obvious tourist spots, although you can walk to Circular Quay in about 15-20 mins and there are buses that go to Bondi just nearby. Aussie hotels generally seem quite expensive (partly due to the FX rate) so we figured th...

For sure I will come back again to this hotel every time I have a business trip in Sydney. I'm very lucky to have a chance to stay at this hotel for the very first time, spending 3 nights and loving it with the harbor bridge view from my bedroom and from the living room area. This hotel is the best hotel I ever stayed so far in Sydney (I travel 3x a month for business ...

We have stayed at nearly all the airport hotels in Sydney and this has to be the best. I had only an overnight stay with my young daughter and instantly wished I had booked more nights! The staff are very friendly, the food is amazing! and the beds super super comfy. The whole hotel is super modern with amazing attention to detail and decor. Although the Pullman feels ...

Terrific hostel! Located in The Rocks (Old Town Sydney), near Circular Quay and the Opera House, this hostel was truly amazing: friendly and always helpful staff members who would patiently answer all my questions, a clean and bright room (4-bed private) with a bathroom that some 4-star hotels can't offer, Opera House view from insde the room (!), a gorgeous rooftop, s...

The Sebel Peir one is in an amazing location, located over the water right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a very short walk from the Rocks (Sydney's best Nightlife) and only 2 mins to views over Sydney harbour and the Opera House. As a keen photographer, this was absolutely perfect allowing me to be up and in position to take some great images at dawn, with out hav...

This hotel is a must for all tourist wanting lovely super comfy rooms with everything you could want for your stay, fantastic views of Sydney, one of the best breakfast set ups I have come across with lovely food, a super pool with again stunning Sydney views and all within minutes walking to all the major attractions/shopping/eating that Sydney has to offer and a bloc...

I had a lovely stay at the Pullman. As a 21 year old I was a little nervous staying at a 5-star hotel and wasn't to sure what to expect. The staff we helpful, friendly and we're always there for a chat. My room was lovely and well kept, and regularly stocked. The views were amazing, one side of the hotel offering a view of Sydney cbd in the distance and the other showe...

After a long year of work and a long flight from south Africa we checked into the establishment hotel for 3 nights of luxury in Sydney. From start to finish we were never disappointed. The rooms had all the trimmings and the staff were friendly and attentive. As our main goal on Sydney was fine dinning restaurants the location was perfect. Although the hotel has no vi...

Real reviews for hotels
Sydney has some iconic features that should not be missed, but this is a working city and deserves a little time to discover the less well known spots as well as the tourist areas.
Haymarket is the Chinatown area for all things Asian. Hotel is close to all areas of sightseeing and attraction, walking or bus - very handy to everything.
Nice bustling city with crowds at all times. peak or non peak. May go further like surry hills for less crowds for café hopping.
Great city - always love going there for shopping, nightlife and attractions. A beautiful vibrant city for Families, couples and groups.
Very diverse, multicultural. Great restaurants and night life. Historic places still worth visiting. Close to other attractions eg The Blue Mountains and the northern beaches.
Harbour is beautiful, enjoy a lunch cruise around the harbour or climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so much to see & do around the harbour for shores
Fabulous city in most weathers. Beautiful harbour and beaches. Lots to do harbourside. Definitely take a ferry ride or two.
great sight seeing families, singles, couples, groups and business great shops, lots of attractions, beaches and plenty of things to do
We did a brief visit before heading off Cairns from Melbourne. The Torango zoo is a good place to spend 5-6 hours and specially by ferry to enjoy the Darling harbor view.
So many asians in Sydney. Not much interesting things to us because mostly like Central in Hong Kong.
I can see why Sydney is voted one of the best places to visit in the world. It's action packed or relaxing depending on what you want to do.
It's Sydney! Enough said, but no seriously, you cannot ask for more. Covered with outstanding beaches, night and city life.
It has everything to offer. It caters for everyone, just a matter of finding it. It can be expensive at times so be smart about it.
A nice place to stay but not to live in as it is an expensive city, particularly transport cost is high.
Spend more days there so you can visit at your own leisure, the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Fish Market, Darling Harbour, Bondi beach, Manly beach, Sydney eye tower and Queen Victoria Building.
Sydney is a magical vibrant clean charming enticing city ! The climate is appealing year round generally.
The public transport network is comprehensive. Staying at CBD area is a wise choice as the landmarks are easily accessible on foot.
Its the best city in the world with beautiful harbour, delightful ferries for transport, fabulous views.
Sydney is a beautiful and vibrant city especially during spring time what a wonderful feeling to experience 3 seasons in one day! One can explore the CBD in one day just by walking without getting tired and bored.
Blue Mountain is a must on a spring time day. I think going there during summer is out of the question.
Sydney has all the attractions nearby. Going around is easy. You don't have to travel hundreds of miles to go from one attraction to another.
this place is so good for relax, you can spend whole day at darling harbour and watch the sun set; but somethme you may meet some rude people who discriminate you are Chinese; i think it is better for lady do not go out alone at night, but most of the peopl are nice and good
Its a vibrant city they have everything in the city, luxurious brands, good food, nightlife, relaxing areas like beaches, nice parks etc.
A great place to visit ..... and we plan on visiting Sydney again for more than the five nights that we stayed.
There's something for everyone, it's clean and easy to get around on bus/subway. The free Circular Quay 555 bus is a plus--a great way to get the lay of the land at the beginning of the trip.
Sydney is a all-in-one package of a city. It includes culture, history, food, shopping, sightseeing, beaches, etc.
Plenty of tourist spot to explore. Hop on hop off bus packages are available. Best to see places on the view-deck of the bus.
it was not enough time to explore all of the city around 4 days. you need at least 6-7 Days to explore the single corner of the city.
Visit all the "must see" sites like the Opera House, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, take the ferry to Manly Beach, venture out to Bondi Beach, go out of the city to Hunter valley and enjoy the wine tasting, cheese and chocolate tasting, experience the kangaroos up close and personal, visit the koalas.
Sydney is beyond stunning beyond exquisite .. From my experience Sydney is worthy of a complete one stop destination holiday .
