Caesar Park Hotel Taipei
Taipei Main Station,Taipei - View on map
"Hotel's location is probably one of the best in Taipei being situated above Taipei Main Station MRT and having its own dedicated exit (M6). Hotel is at the more expensive end of the range of Taipei hotels but I felt I achieved decent value for money all considering. Room for a couple was perfectly adequate, though did not appear as large as some photos I had seen in advertising. However this might have been due to the enormous bathroom taking a fair amount of the room space. I would neither describe the room as dated or modern, somewhere in between, but comfortable and always clean. Air conditioning was very good and quiet in operation. Breakfast was buffet style and comprehensive; I was very happy with it, the fruit juices were some of the best I have tasted. Staff need a special mention as they were consistently delightful, polite, friendly and always helpful (they could speak English though my partner can speak Chinese). Overall a very pleasant 8 day stay and I would visit again."

Caesar Park Hotel Banqiao
Banqiao District,Taipei - View on map
"Highly appreciation to Mr.Ren (front desk),for his professional suggestions of my staying arrangement enquiries. As well as his friendly attitude. Upon Arrival, I was quite surprised to receive a Birthday card and a cake! Therefore, I had a very nice Birthday celebration Holiday for 3 nights in Caesar Park Banqiao. Consider the reasonable price, facilities such as swimming pool on the roof and 5 stars service standard(higher than 5 stars) , that makes me believed that Caesar Park Banqiao is the best hotel in Taipei! Definitely willing to re-visit this hotel next time! Sincerely, Mr.Lo"

Humble House Taipei
Xinyi District,Taipei - View on map
"My first time in Taiwan in a long long while, and my friend who sponsored the trip booked the hotel. Knowing him to be frugal, I thought he had booked us into a pension house, so I was grumbling all the way to Taipei. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a grand hotel, after all. The room was fantastic: great bed and beddings, hi-tech amenities (power curtain, power sunshade and centralized room controls) and a top-of-th-line bidet that not only cleans, dries and deodorizes, but has certain settings that pleasantly tickles your butthole, making you linger more than usual on the toilet bowl. The location is primo, walking distance to shops for top international brands as well as Taipei 101. Staff is very friendly, solicitous even, and elevator has security features. Great city view from the window, and buffet breakfast is above par. I give it a two thumbs up. YEAH BA!!"

The Sherwood Taipei
Songshan District,Taipei - View on map
"I have stayed at the Sherwood many times and it never disappoints. This is one of the older 5 star hotels in Taipei but still offers great value for money and the location is very convenient, the Zhongshan junior high school mrt station is at a walking distance and there are lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff and service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The Toscana restaurant offers some great Italian food options., if one wants to stay in a five star hotel in Taipei at a reasonable rate then the Sherwood is perfect."

"fairly good sized rooms, great location - 1 block from sogo (5 minute walk) like the larger hotel feel, more services/amenities requested early checkin and room was available upon very early arrival - big plus/bonus! service was efficient and friendly all around wifi in the rooms is a bit spotty/slow - as with many hotels in taipei bathrooms are dated, but not a huge deal for us "

W Taipei
Xinyi District,Taipei - View on map
"I have stayed at W Taipei Hotel for more than twelve times. Booking: Ms Amy Tseng, the Guest Experience Manager, helped me with the room booking and restaurant booking. Arrival: Upon arrival, a very lovely lady, Ms Karen Chan, welcomed me. Karen was the Guest Experience Team Leader of W. Out of my surprise she spoke fluent Cantonese. Karen explained that she was a fellow Hongkonger who was posted at W Taipei. No wonder I always feel W Taipei my home at Taipei. Food: Both Yen and Kitchen Table served excellent food and beverages. Spa: Connie, Mandy and a trainee at the Reception of the Away Spa were friendly and cheerful. Rita was my favorite therapist. I felt totally relaxed after the Spa treatment. Departure: After spending three days at my home at Taipei, I had to leave. To comfort my sadness, Ms Jennifer Lai, the W Insider, met me in person at the reception and wished me a smooth flight and a quick revisit. Gratitude: Thanks to all the staff at W Taipei. "

Wowhappy Taipei
Zhongzheng District,Taipei - View on map
"Superb quick check-in with only one passport required. All ready for me. I've booked two Classic Rooms which provide a big jacuzzi and a King bed. When elderly open the door, it is a 'Wow !' to them. They mentioned that the rooms are great. Initially, they have a thought of not so good hotel with 3 stars, but they are wrong. 3-stars also provide great environment and service in Taiwan. I've booked another two Family Rooms which provide normal bath-tub, 2 king-beds. Size of rooms are great. Many power-points provided every corners of the room and hotel lobby too. There are 5 choices of sandwich, brownie and coffee/tea provided for breakfast. It is good enough for our 4-nights stays. I'll believe I'll booked the same hotel when i return back to Taipei. Thumbs-up."

Kimpton Da An Hotel
Daan District,Taipei - View on map
"Our stay at Kimpton Daan was beyond excellent, if I could give the hotel and its staff more than 5 stars I would. Our room was fantastic - well designed, modern, clean and equipped with everything that we needed for a great stay in Taipei. The overall hotel is also excellent, we especially loved the modern design and attention to detail throughout. Kimpton Daan is located in a fantastic part of Taipei, close to all of the great shopping, bars, restaurants and cafes in the area. It's also only a few minute walk from the nearest MRT station which makes it super handy as a base for exploring the rest of Taipei. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the staff at Kimpton Daan went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed while in Taipei. The staff were friendly, attentive and provided exceptional. customer service. A big thank you to all of the staff (particularly Ethan, Mark and Leon) who helped us during our stay. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at!"

"This must be the best accomodation i have ever stayed in my whole life. It's more than 9000 sq ft in size with spa pool, steam room, sauna, massage chair, mini golf-putting green, karaoke lounge, roof top swimming pool...all these within 1 room! Everything in the room is clean and tidy, and the super-super king size bed is really comfortable. The most unimaginable is the price. Thanks, Agoda. "

More about Taipei

Taipei has everything vacationers are after, from charming colonial districts and historic temples to magnificent green spaces and a hip, cosmopolitan edge. Tourists divide their time between marvelous attractions like the National Palace Museum, part of a collection that originated in Beijing, and soaring sites like Taipei 101, which once held the title of the tallest building in the world. In between are a wealth of temples, memorials, and traditional markets all worth exploring. The Japanese architecture and street markets of Datong district make it a great place for visitors.

The commercial capital of Taipei is the Da-an district. This is where the best street markets are found, including venues that specialize in jade, flowers, and electronics. The university and expatriate communities found here contribute to a fresh, international atmosphere. Ximending is another of Taipei’s commercial giants, and many of its boutiques, galleries, and art-house cinemas are kept in buildings dating back to the 1930s.

Accommodation in Taipei comes in all categories with budget hostels next to the kind of franchise giants seen around the world. Getting around will be convenient with a metro system near many of the city’s hotels. Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is the city’s point of entry for the majority of travelers.
