"It was really good. My family and I went over for around 1 week to settle some mind boggling matters and the stay here was really relaxing easing our stress and pressure. The view was wonderful especially that we had a high-floor room with windows all over giving us a panoramic view of the deep ocean and majestic mountains. The service was impeccable! It was Chinese New Year and Tawau was much a ghost town and taxi was no where to be found at night. We were stuck at the hospital in the middle of the night thinking that we r going walking back to the hotel. But I thought to try my luck and called the hotel. Although I could not really understand them due to the heavy accent, but they came by the hospital within 10 minutes an brought us back safe and sound in a huge MPV. i felt so happy with them and although so late at night, they still served with a smile. The breakfast and dinner were superb too. loads of variety of very good quality. And the view from the restaurant was so good too. On the 3rd day of our stay, I was feeling a little bored and went for a little work after some business and found a shopping mall linked to the hotel. Even bought a blouse there. The hotel made an otherwise difficult time very much pleasant and relaxing. Thanks to the staff and their great service. Wld definitely go back to this hotel. The best in Tawau!"

"I stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. I didnt expect the hotel to be good, but it was!.. Not only is it affordable, it is also cheap. Its close to the supermarket where i got my night snacks, there is adjacent restaurant (good food). And i got my friend and collegues souvenir (mostly food) from the famous nearby local market. Walking distance was abt 3 mins give or take. The hotel staff was friendly enough and helpful. The room was surprisingly big and clean. What i love the most is the bed. It has a 4 STAR quality bed. Really worth my money, esp when on a tight budget. I would def recommend this hotel to all my friends with a thin budget. AWESOME!!!!"

"I stayed in this hotel on business, so I only used the room to sleep and to do some paperwork. I liked the patient and helpful staff. Dealt with counter staff (who processed my check in with the Agoda voucher) and maintenance (silly me didn't know how to switch the TV on!) and breakfast people. Breakfast offered were more than enough for me. Noodles, rice, bread, porridge + condiments, fluffy buns, croissants, chicken, eggs, juices, tea, coffee.. Location was perfect for me, as there was a taxi stand next to the hotel, as well as a supermarket in the next block. To potential customers, many hotels in Tawau are part of shop blocks and this hotel is the same. In the same block were a few eating places and I highly recommend 'Restoran Ingat' for its tasty dishes. Not kosher though ('halal'). The 'interesting' bit was the bathroom. It was an open plan one (!) and only a curtain separated the toilet from the room. The shower cubicle had frosted glass. If my roommate were my husband, it would pose no problem. But if my roommate were my colleague... hmm, there just may be some issues. Especially if I were to suffer a bad stomach upset and spend a productive time on the throne.. hahaha. Anyway I was alone in the room so productive times weren't an issue. My other business colleague had a bathroom with a door, by the way. So maybe I got the honeymoon room "

"Not much to say. I stayed one night in transit to Semporna. Advantages are 1.Service was quick, 2.room was big, 3.wifi was available. However, a point to note is that the shower area is quite small even thought the bathroom is sizable. Heritage hotel is on the same street as a few other hotels in the new part of Tawau town, hence comparatively safe. There is a sort of night market at the corner of the hotel street and along Dunlop street that sells local food for takeaway. During my stay, I realized that I forget to bring my diver's certification card and had to electronically transfer the image from Singapore. The front desk was very helpful in assisting me to connect to the wifi network when I met some initial technical issues. In conclusion, I have no regrets choosing this hotel and would choose this hotel again if I ever in Tawau overnight again."

"There is not too much choice for hotels in Tawau, and I am glad I stayed here. This hotel is very cheap compared to the quality. The room is nice, the bathroom is surprisingly good quality, the bed is firm, what else do you need? Maybe breakfast, which they unfortunately do not have."

"The room is very clean and tidy, it’s also very wide and large. We’re very satisfied with the best cost performance. Breakfast is unexpectedly good. It only take us 35 minutes to the Tawau airport. There’re also a lot of wonderful handicraft stores near the hotel. Foods in this town are very delicious and cheap."

"This was the perfect place for us to calm down and relax a little from a long travel. The room is super nice and big with a huge double bed (maybe the best we ever had while traveling), fridge, workspace, nice bathroom ... everything you need! We stayed here almost 2 weeks, unfortunately we needed to leave, because of a water problem in the hotel. (I hope you got it fixed?) We would have loved to stay longer. All the other hotels we saw after that were way to expensive for what you get compared to this place. The staff is so friendly and smiling all the time, willing to help with every problem. Especially the women speak perfect english. Even the previous email contact was helping us so much. In the beginning of our stay the wifi was not working at all, but somehow it got better everyday. The Location is great. There is a lot of good food around in walking distance. Try Yassin Curry House or Wangi Chicken Rice around the second corner. If you are starving for western food “the simple Cafe“ is amazing. We loved to stay with you, it was the perfect ending for our four months travelling through malaysia. Terima Kasih for everything and all the best! Sorry, that we missed to take a photo by the way... :/"
