"I would not stay here as a couple. You're better off finding an Airbnb for equal cost but far better value. What we paid for a 3 bed mixed dorm with shared bathroom is the same as what we could get for a private modern apartment for 2 people in Tbilisi. Consider this place only if you like the funky vibe, sharing bathrooms or a solo budget traveller. Not to mention that someone checked into our dorm at 4am in the morning."

"Old Meidan Tbilisi is an excellent hotel, located near Meidan Square. The room was spacious, clean and reception were welcoming and willing to help. The absolute highlight is the buffet breakfast on the 4th floor. Amazing food and amazing views while eating. There was some noise from outside, but with the windows shut, it blocks it all out. The noise is understandable given it's location. It's near where all the action is! "
