Grand Beach Hotel
Beach Area,Tel Aviv - View on map
"The Grand Beach Hotel in Tel-Aviv is a nice place. The location is great - In the "Old North" of the city centre. The beach is very close, there is a nice park just downstairs and there are many places for food, drinks and coffee around the area. There are better hotels in Tel-Aviv but usually they are way more expensive. The food is nice and the staff is friendly. It is a good spot to spend few nights."

Port and Blue TLV Boutique Suites Hotel
Beach Area,Tel Aviv - View on map
"The rooms are spacious and clean. Service is excellent. Very helpful in every way. Parking lot is very small so be aware that there is not always parking available or you might get blocked. Drinks (water & lemonade) are free at the lounge all day. Breakfast is not at the hotel but at about a 5 minute walk (once you know the way). You can choose between 2 restaurants: Nimrod at the port and Jeremiah is more into town. The larger rooms are at the front of the hotel. The smaller rooms at the back have sea view on the higher floors although it's about 500 meters away from the hotel. Too bad they don't have a pool."

Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach
Beach Area,Tel Aviv - View on map
"toooooo short, even when the access to the beach from the Hotel was closed and it was neccessary to move two flights of stairs because the main entrance is at the third floor (from the beach), otherwise the Hotel is a bit pricey.......very nice Swimming Pool and a Terrace which invites you to relax!"

Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center

"Short one night stay, but great. The room is perfect and had all what we wanted. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Tel Aviv waterfront (about 4 kms away). The waterfront is one of the must visit places in Tel Aviv. Excellent staff attitude in the hotel. Will go back to this hotel if visit Tel Aviv again."

Armon Hayarkon Hotel
Beach Area,Tel Aviv - View on map
"We stayed at the Armon Hayarkon because it was one of the few hotels in Tel Aviv. The taxi drivers knew the name and how to get there, and the hotel is less than five minutes on foot from the shops and restaurants of the port, and the cafes and salons of Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff. The location is toward the northern end of Tel Aviv proper, but we walked all the way to the original downtown area (Allenby, HaCarmel Merkaz) in half an hour. The front desk clerks speak excellent English, and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful during our stay. The elevator services all floors, but the stairs are just as convenient. Our room had a comfortable bed, a small but clean and functional bathroom, and a private balcony with a view of Hayarkon street below and the sea only a block away. There are ample biking and running trails by the water near the port, extending north along the sea and east along the river. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

Rimonim Tower Ramat Gan Hotel
Ramat Gan,Tel Aviv - View on map
"i've stayed at rimonim optima several times. the rooms are comfortable, though not luxurious. the location (in ramat gan, the next town over from tel aviv) means that the rates are lower than typical tel aviv hotels. the internet is free and the breakfast is huge and delicious. and they leave a box of six tiny free chocolates on your pillow! only one thing to remember: if you want a wake-up call, you are advised to ask for it in person at the reception desk; on one stay, i phoned in a wake-up call request and was not awakened."

"Room clean and full equiped with beautiful and new fornitures (with free coffe and tea, air conditioning, fridge, working wireless, shampoo and towels). Perfect location in the center of Tel Aviv (2km from the station Hashalom), and close to the main attraction of the city. The host is pefect: he can provide you maps and all the information you need about the city. Last day we were also allowed to live our laggages for free in the hotel after checked out. Absolutely raccomended! Francesco and Sara "

Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel
Beach Area,Tel Aviv - View on map
"Hotel property good, nice comfy rooms with a little extra with an espresso machine. Housekeeping great, same cannot be said of all other employees who seemed somehow little careless of customers. 7th floor club lounge averarage, nice small snacks and beverages, but again the staff on lounge floor didn't behave as i would expected in a 5 star property. Beware also when staying during sabbath time, breakfast isn't what it should be then(with that price) and also you cannot get a fresh cup of coffee anywhere in the hotel. Also other ridiculous features can be dound during the sabbath time, but thank god it's only once a week thing. Pool area nice, beautiful views to the mediterranean."

Traveler impressions of Tel Aviv

More about Tel Aviv

Fronting the Mediterranean and featuring an interesting balance of historic buildings and modern skyscrapers, Tel Aviv is one of Israel’s most exciting cities. It’s the second-largest city in Israel, and the beachfront location of the city center makes Tel Aviv the perfect destination for a vacation in Israel. It’s a short drive from Jerusalem, but with the locals and tourists frolicking on the beachand crowding the waterfront resorts and bars, it’s easy to see that Tel Aviv is worlds away from Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv is a fairly young city, but it has an impressive collection of Bauhaus buildings that have earned the city a listing on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Most of these historic buildings now serve as hotels and cafes. Most notably, Tel Aviv is home to Old Jaffa, which is one of the oldest ports in the world, even boasting a few appearances in the Christian Bible.

Of course the city is also home to a lot of exclusive shopping centers, but some of the most eclectic selections can be found on the historic Ha-Yarkon Street.

Tel Aviv is served by Ben Gurion International Airport, and there are many hotels conveniently close to the airport for those who don’t want to trek into the city center
