"After 20 years of putting our Engineers at Metropolitan Hotel, it was MY turn to experience a few nights stay...The wait was worth it as my stay was really worth telling everyone to come and experience for themselves this really great hotel right in Tel Aviv by the sea. Large single room with very clean and orderly settings, housekeeping was very friendly and efficient, service from all the staff was attentive, very kind, patient and very efficient. Facilities were excellent, dining was just over the top with delicious variety of foods and top this with attentive staff. Great location by the sea and central Tel Aviv with bus stops just outside. Most of all, the value for money was Super Excellent. Will be back for more treatment like a royal. Am extremely grateful for my experience, worth telling people."

NYX Tel Aviv

"This is definitely an expensive hotel. We like its classy architecture and design. The black and white theme made it look very elegant. The girl receptionist is very helpful. She's there 24/7. We also like the use of the Business Lounge for free. It has free snacks like gourmet breads, coffee and different kinds of drinks. The design was very very nice. The room is big enough for the 3 of us. And the TV is sooo nice (It's HD). It's a 10 min walking distance to Hahagana train station (train going to Ben Gurion airport). So that you won't take taxi anymore. Train costs 13 nis each, Taxi going to airport is 180nis. If we are going back to Tel Aviv, we'll definitely book again this hotel (but we have to prepare because it is quite expensive.) Oh, the panther sculpture is sooo cool! 😁"

"We rent a room in this hotel for three nights, one night before wedding and two additional nights after. We recieved very good treatment, and although we had couple problems with our room service operation controller (one controller that controls light, air conditioning, radio, alarm clock) and it was replaced during our stay, still it didn't spoiled the overall atmosphere. We think it was worth our money, it's not a cheap one, but eventually you recieve what you have paid for."

Hacarmel Market Apartment

"The location is good, the apartment was decent. Untill things began to fall apart. The apartment door fell off 2 days after we got there. We called the owner, who said he will fix it within TWO days. Door barely closes, all our stuff inside are unsafe - and he thinks TWO days is OK... Though we kept calling and reminding him, he kept "forgetting" to fix it, and only got to it FOUR days after we called him. You can barely get a hold of him, and when you do, he says he will do things - but doesn't. Though the location is good - i'm never staying there again, and would recommend you wouldn't either. Unless the management is changed"

More about Tel Aviv

Fronting the Mediterranean and featuring an interesting balance of historic buildings and modern skyscrapers, Tel Aviv is one of Israel’s most exciting cities. It’s the second-largest city in Israel, and the beachfront location of the city center makes Tel Aviv the perfect destination for a vacation in Israel. It’s a short drive from Jerusalem, but with the locals and tourists frolicking on the beachand crowding the waterfront resorts and bars, it’s easy to see that Tel Aviv is worlds away from Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv is a fairly young city, but it has an impressive collection of Bauhaus buildings that have earned the city a listing on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Most of these historic buildings now serve as hotels and cafes. Most notably, Tel Aviv is home to Old Jaffa, which is one of the oldest ports in the world, even boasting a few appearances in the Christian Bible.

Of course the city is also home to a lot of exclusive shopping centers, but some of the most eclectic selections can be found on the historic Ha-Yarkon Street.

Tel Aviv is served by Ben Gurion International Airport, and there are many hotels conveniently close to the airport for those who don’t want to trek into the city center
