This is a place to worship and also sight see the surrounding areas of Tirumala, and lower Thirupathi.
The people here are not very friendly but it was ok.
As i know this town have 2 things, Zoo and Balaji Temple which is very full of the people (1 Days they open for 22 hours, but the good things when you show passport and pay for Rs 300,- you can get Foreign Entrance which more faster for queing).
City needs lots of better serviced hotels and very well trained staff. City has huge potential for hotel industry but i dont know why people are not tapping this huge potential.
Tirupati has the biggest religious center in world. This place is well kept. Its airport is not well connected with rest of India.
If some tourist attractions are added more people will come and stay for longer duration.
Tirupati is a small town spread over 5-7 KM. Due to thousands of visitors daily for Tirumala temple, good development is visible around in the town.
There are many hotels to choose from. Apart from the Main Tirumala temple, One must see Mata Padmavati temple and ISCON temple. Both are located in the main city area. If you have more time at your disposal, there are many more ancient temples to visit.
