Toronto is the 'friendly New York' and you can tell that people living in Toronto and much of Canada are courteous, friendly and respectful.
Attractions are awesome and the zoning of the places to see are well thought off.
I really enjoyed my time there. The people were friendly, and there was lots to do and see. Coming from a small prairie town it was an adjustment to be around so many people, but it was fun and an interesting change of pace for me.
I LOVE the Go train!! It was very easy to navigate and made my day trips considerably easier to plan. Even the 401 made sense!! I will definitely go back! (Actually, I'm considering moving there!!)
Toronto is a vibrant city with a rich variety of cultures. It's one of my favourite cities and highly recommend that people visit.
Toronto is a dynamic city where the people are very friendly. However you should beware of police. We were shocked with teen shooting during stay there.

Every culture of the world in 1 place...5 Chinatowns, Greek area, Indian area...masses of street festivals and annual events, range of museums and sights.
Late summer is the Ex, a bit tacky but a good day out. Lots of museums. Friendly Canadians. Winter is cold and messy.
The city is well planned and has a very good transport system, you will never get lost. People are friendly and relaxing, lots of good eating places and full of activities.
If you are driving, please park your car at your hotel and use public transport or walk. Public car parks are not cheap.

To get the best of Toronto Downtown is a combination of trams (streetcars) and by foot. I like Kensington market very much because its a different from the usual china town. China town is big! Check out Little Korea, little Italy and Little Portgual

When to visit Toronto really depends on what type of traveller you are. There are a myriad of things to do and see in Toronto and its neighbouring cities, but not all is as impressive all year round.
It's definitely best to ask a local before visiting.
I should not miss the harbor front that has lots of activities during summer time. Moreover, I also recommend you to go to Toronto island which you can see the beautiful view of the Toronto.
There isn't a bad time to visit Toronto. I know, I lived there! There is always something to do and even if the weather gets you down, the TTC is there to get you where you need to go.
