Its interesting that coffee shop and restaurant are close between interval of breakfast, lunch and to dinner.
We enjoyed the city landmarks and shops.
It has many attractive old historical buildings and the free minibus is very comfortable to be used. Compare to Paris, this town is very clean.
The underground stations are also much cleaner than Paris. The people are basically firendly. We only coincidentaly met a man who shouted with anger on the street and attracted policemen. Other minus point is, the town is full of smokers.
its a good city with everything centrally located. If you stay away from the shopping / food district that would be an issue.
If you want to catch a taxi in Toulouse, you must book one! The city is pretty and even though we were there in mid-january (and the weather was great), we think it would be a perfect early spring or late autumn holiday break destination.
Nice city, easy to walk around in. Great markets to buy fresh local produce. Many restaurants with great food.
