the hotel just a 2 mins walk from Tours train station! perfect location.I forgot to request early checkin when booking, but eventually staff allowed us to have ealry check in in the morning when we arrived! we could unload our heavy backpack before getting around for chateau tour in Tours! Staff were nice and with good english! Rooms are comfy and big enough. clean and...

This place was great -very basic but clean and quiet with a good breakfast before you get back on the road. If you are looking for a no frills hotel simply for a place to rest your head then you can’t go wrong for under 30 euros a room. My kids thought the shutter style bathroom was fun and it’s even pet friendly. Thank you Mister Bed :-)

Can’t fault this hotel for cleanliness and good customer service...... We have stayed here many times and had a wonderful evening meal.....however - on this occasion the evening meal was poor and NOT worth the price. Breakfast was good...as usual. Such a shame that the evening meal spoilt our overall stay.

This hotel was arranged somewhat motel-style, and was undergoing refurbishment at the time of our stay. Our room had clearly been recently redecorated, but my wife was dismayed at the smell of cigarette smoke in our non-smoking room. Other than that, the room was well up to standard. Being tired after a day's travel, we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, and just ...

Conveniently situated for car travellers from the airport, with street parking although this can be busy. The high ceilings in the hotel give an airy ambiance although the bedroom small which is so typical for many hotels in France. Breakfast in the conservatory room is very nice. About a 10 min walk to the old town which has a lively square and lots of restaurants/bar...

I initially booked this hotel assuming it was in the city center so I felt a little annoyed with myself when I arrived. The hotel itself it located down a little street next to the main train station Gare Dr Tours. It's a 10 min walk into the town center. My room was huge and it had a separate toilet and bathroom. It's an older property but the staff were great. Very f...

Our room was exactly as advertised, small but well equipped, only drawback was, if booking for 4 nights or more it was classed as an apartment therefore no room cleaning (not a problem) bu only one set of towels which you either had to wash yourself or pay € for another set plus cleaning, 3 nights or less included daily towels and housekeeping.

We stayed here one night on our way from Brittany to Lyon. We wouldn't have stayed another night. Our non-smoking room was full of smoke so we got a smoking room and it was less smelly but it didn't smell clean. Dirty old carpet. The staff in the reception was very friendly. There are 2 restaurants close by. But it is far from the center. The breakfast buffet was very...

This is a charming hotel with a lovely hostess. Just at 3 minute-walk distance to the Gare de Tours and the Office of Tourism is at the corner. You will not miss the bus tours to the chateux. Rooms are lovely and modern and easily accessible with the elevator. Be sure to stay with them when touring in Tours. Bon voyage!

Great location in centre of town, near many restaurants, very polite staff, great design room. Nice smelling shower gel :) Only negative is no elevator, so you need to carry your suitcase up the stairs.... not practical if you are traveling from overseas with a big suitcase. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, so if you are driving it is difficult to find some...

Since we drive there, so we are not sure if it is in convenient location. The room is spacious and clean, quite nice to stay. There is no lift in this hotel, so if you are carrying big suitcase esp. for winter travelers, better request for lower floor room.

The rooms are clean, neat warm and we had a good size bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful with where to visit, which chateaus to see, and where to eat regional cuisine ( which is wonderful). The hotel is ideally located in a quiet residential area with little traffic noise with easy access by walking into the old part of the city. The only suggestion wou...

The standard of the room is equivalent to the price you pay, the bathroom could use some updating but otherwise it was clean and serviceable. The parking available at the hotel is metered street parking that is only available for a maximum of two hours, but free all day Sunday. The location is not really central but because Tours is so small its a short walk to everyth...

Traveler impressions of Tours
Tours can best be described as laid back. It has large areas in the old city which are pedestrianised allowing you to walk and wander at leisure.
We are a couple from HK, first time visit to Tours, we like the city very much, quiet, safe, yet interesting with lots of restaurants and shops.
nice surrounding not far from many castle to visit in town we walk x out of town we purchase a tour to chenanceau x ambois castle driver as a guide telling history of Tours and the castle x not so crowded as Paris life can relax in Tours
Tours's best hotels with breakfast

Quiet location outside Tours. Friendly staff. Late arrival (after 9.30pm - check-in machine did not recognise one of my debit cards (I have two) , but the emergency help telephone number worked and the woman was very helpful - sorted very quickly). Very basic accommodation. Rooms with private shower/toilet. Shower very compact/small ... ok for me, but if you are a larg...
