Trieste hotels & accommodations

NH is a good quality hotel close to train station. The hotel is clean & rooms very comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast not as good as other NH hotels.clearing of empty tables very slow & provision of breakfast foods limited.we were give 2 bottles of complimentary water for 3 days. Other Nh provide 2 per day. We would stay at NH Trieste again.

this is a stylish hotel with very helpful staff. we had actually stayed two days earlier (with an excellent trip to ljubljana in between) and they helpfully stored most of our luggage and upgraded us on our return to one of their wonderful bedrooms with balconies overlooking the sea. if you can get one of these rooms they are stunning and very spacious - almost suites...

we stumbled upon this hotel by chance. lucky for us. the hotel is maximum five minutes from the railway station and in the city center. yet providing a very good nights sleep located as it is on a small back street. excellent beds add to this. other furniture have sober yet exciting design. we stayed one night on way out and booked a room for return journey while still...

It was lucky to stay in this hotel. All of the staffs i met is so nice and warm and breakfast is nice. I'm gonna stay in here next time i go to Trieste!

...ok Hotel-Apartment, but.. we booked a 2BR appartment for a overnight stay so that our kids could share and my wife and me can share a room. When arrived it turned out that on BR was just a single-bed and the 2nd BR had 3 beds inside.... and no international TV

Trieste has some hazards and at breakfast there was a lady hotel creeper, as there had been elsewhere in Italy, but the food was excellent, the location was in a funky multicultural inexpensive shopping district, the rooms were quiet, everything was sturdy and historic and secure. I was so happy to be out of Italy and in Trieste for a couple of days, I extended my stay...

Very central position far from loudness and traffic; just a few minutes walking distance from main turistic sites as Piazza Unità and San Giusto Castle. Very good breakfast with choice of sweet and sour buffet. Courtesy and professional staff. Confortable rooms with big bathrooms; hanged at the wall hairdryer need to be changed with normal ones. The rooms and common a...

We arrived here for a lovely night in Trieste. On arrival we could not find the hotel and a lady arrived on the street telling me that they had overbooked and suites la saline had booked us a room in another hotel of similair or better standards. The concierge at this "better" hotel proceeded to take us to again a different place on the other side of the street which w...

this was my first time in trieste and this hotel was a happy choice - good location to be able to walk to all that trieste has to offer. it was a little more expensive than i prefer to pay (about 120 euro per night) but very comfortable. room a little compact but bathroom was adversely larger. i would stay here again.

A really comfortable stay - though the room was just a shade small. Great bed, responsive staff - and while the menu at Harry's Grill is not huge the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. And its a great place to watch people on the Piazza Unita d'Italia.

No air conditioning in our room on one of the hottest days (41C outside!) of summer in the Trieste region and all of Italy. We notified the staff, and their response was only "sorry." No options given, no fan available: nothing to try to make our stay more comfortable. The key word is "try." The staff member who was working the morning shift at the front desk asked u...

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Trieste. Perfect for sightseeing. Breakfast was good and the staff extremely friendly. The room was large and comfortable with free wifi connection. Very nice decorations and good bathroom. Only one thing I did not like. The hotel was a old building now renewed. That makes the ceiling squeaking in a terrible way when people walk...

Very friendly welcome. Room neat and kept really clean. Location good for accessing Trieste (bus stop just outside hotel if no car) and also Mirimare. Restaurants and cafes nearby. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the ocean. Lots of activity from sailing clubs nearby. We stayed in October so it was a bit quieter and some facilities on the deck area not available ...

This is an unexpected apt. in a newer building just on the edge of 'downtown' Trieste. It's convenient to shopping, transportation many local sights and, of course, dozens of restaurants and bars are a short distance away. To my delight, there was a supermarket less than a block away so I could easily get me breakfast yogurt, coffee, milk, wine, etc. The apartment had...

price-efficient. The host was kind. I had to push the ringbell several times to call the host to open the gate before I can access the hotel as the hotel was located on the 3rd floor of the whole building. The hotel is very near from the train station and bus station(the train station and bus station are next to each other)

We enjoyed the Lloyd Triestino and would consider staying there again. The location is very central so that visiting the main plazas, museums, and sights is very easy--you can walk everywhere. There are numerous good restaurants and cafes very close by. The apartment itself is a bit unusual in that you are the third (for North Americans, fourth) floor of a wing of ...

Giulia the owner is so wonderful and will go out of her way to help you. She makes it worth the stay alone. The rooms are large and clean and bathrooms are a good size too. I stayed here by chance as my bus was delayed but I'm so glad I got to. It was a wonderful stay there.

The courtesy of the manager was exemplary and deserves SIX stars. The room was large and well appointed. The building is located in ancient Trieste and is very old. The floors creak, the hot water sometimes gets hot, the lift is not for the faint of heart, et cetera. I tried to stay a few more nights, but they were fully booked.

There is no valet parking, you must fine public parking, which the do recommend. It is a b&b, which you can not tell from the advertisement. It is in a nice location though. Walking distance to everything and really centrally locatesd. Although I think it is overpriced by about 20-30€ per night, I would still recommend it.

Trieste is a very elegant little town with a lovely city centre. Has upmarket shops, masses of cafes and restaurants, pedestrian areas, many museums and galleries.
Because I was born there and have been there many times, I appreciate the complexities of Trieste. It's Italian, yet not Italian.
