We reserved a junior suite at the Maison Blanche. It was a beautiful room with a sitting area, table, and desk. The bathroom was large with beautiful tile work. The breakfast was good, but not extraordinary. We ordered room service twice. The first time it was a bit slow, but the second was much faster. The food was ok. Nothing special. The receptionists at the front desk were always friendly and treated our children very nicely. We appreciated the free WiFi. We would stay here again if in Tunis.

The Carlton is a quiet, friendly hotel conveniently located on the main avenue of the downtown area of Tunis -- a great location. My double room was clean, not ultra-modern but very adequate. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The nice buffet breakfast offers a large variety of items to suit most tastes. The service offered by the hotel car for pick-up or drop-off at the airport is convenient and good value (cheaper than a taxi).

This is the first time we have been to Tunis and have very good sympathy with the city, people and Tunisia Palace Hotel. The hotel is not new and comfortable but very clean. Friendly employee. In particular, I would like to send my thanks again to the manager of the restaurant, where we usually have breakfast here. He is too great. We will come back here if we have a chance.

everything was fine room ok food good we had been traveling all day and wanted an early night as we had an early flight then long car journey the next day at 10pm we had just gone to bed when thump thump came from everywhere it was so loud i tried to phone reception but no luck at midnight i got dressed and went down at reception i was told the noise was because we were over the nightclub eventually we were allocated another room we had no help with our luggage by then we were wide awake unable to sleep for the rest of the night. If you want a good nights sleep Dont book La Pacha

this hotel is in a good location. the staff who work in the reception desk are friendly and helpful. the guestroom, with a nice view,is ok. my only negative remark is that breakfast's services were not offered on the time determined! all in all, it is a good hotel. it's surrounded by cofes, restuarants and shops in one of largest and nicest streets in downtown, tunis. i will certainly return to this hotel when i visit tunis again.

This hotel is old. Everything is run down. Only one person speaks some english, if he is in you are in luck. It has a alcohol restaurant and a coffee shop on the first floor. Coffee shop is open until midnight. There is so much noise coming from this shop that it is hard to fall a sleep. The hotel is in good location and has car park. Since it is nearly impossible to find a parking space in Tunis, this is big bonus. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Ave de France. Rooms are large and clean. You feel like you are in a 50s movie. This hotel seams a little expansive compare to other city hotels but keep in mind that not all the rooms have a bathroom (tuvalet) in those hotels. Beds are hard but I liked it. I do not recommand this location to guests with children.

A most enjoyable stay. The design of the hotel echoed the meaning of its name (Acropolis) with columns etc. . In December it was too cold to swim but the pool was beautiful. Most of the staff spoke little English, but there was always someone on duty who did. As it is a Muslim country there was no alcohol, but they had a bar with quaint cocktail names for various fruit drinks. The food was good and the breakfast lavish. One warning: there are steps in places you don't anticipate, and as an older person with a cane, I had to be very very careful for those unexpected changes in elevation. Staff were most helpful in getting me a driver to see the sights.

This hotel is fantastic. I highly recommend it to anybody needing a room on short notice. The staff is very friendly and professional. The hospitality is amazing, location is good, room are spacious, food is marvelous... There's nothing to complain about at all. It's easy to extend your stay or make last-minute changes. If there's a problem or you need to go somewhere quickly, they may even provide you with a trusted driver of the hotel staff. I also did feel safe all the time. They have professional security on the premises. If you don't mind staying at a hotel with lots of business people who're attending conferences at The Golden Tulip El Mechtel, this is your place. Airport isn't far either and there's a nice park just around the corner of you like to go on a quick run in the morning. Great place - or as they say: A home away from home.

The staff is amazing, they go the extra mile to help you and fulfill your wishes. Rea Tunisian hospitality at its best! It feels like family-run, homey and the rooms are stunning. It is, of course, and old building structure, so a lot of charme awaits you here. Food is really nice, simple, tasty. Also the breakfast is quite good and served any place you like. I felt so happy staying there and will definitely come back when in Tunis!

Everything is totally overpriced, charging for everything, no water in the rooms, no nice little touches. The restaurant food taste so-so, the price is double the price of, for example Dar El Jeld, which is the top-notch restaurant in the Medina. Don't let the homepage and pictures fool you. Don't go there, there are so many better places in the Medina! The architecture of the Palais is so nice, so much wasted potential. It is a shame that the place is so poorly managed.

The hotel staff very friendly, the room are bigger whit every thing what you need.The big problem for this hotel is the noise from the bar/top floor hotel and events floor 1. 3 nights Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, the muzic was very loud., was impossible to sleep. The hotel staff know this problem, but do not take any action. I do not recommend this hotel for people what are looking for a rest in the night time.
