I have been travelling to Victor for short holidays since as long as I can remember. I enjoyed visiting as a child with my parents and now I enjoy escaping here for a relaxing weekend away with my partner.
Only 80km from the Adelaide CBD and an easy drive. The beaches are beautiful to look at but probably not ideal for swimming (head to nearby Horseshoe Bay for this). Lots of walking trails around the coast (my favourite being the bluff). Nightlife is pretty much non-existent, however the town is becoming larger with a variety of different cafés and shops opening over the last few years, with a focus on local produce. A walk to Granite Island is a must for first-timers and a tour at night to witness the fairy penguins at play is also special.
