It is quiet country town. Not much to do there. Shops close at 5pm, except grocery stores. walking on the main street at 7pm felt like walking there at midnight.
Easy access by all forms of travel road, rail and air. has a great military tradition with both army and airforce bases located nearby.
The Army recruit training is conducted at Blamey barracks, so a lot of parents are visiting the area on a continuing basis.

Wonderful Glass Museum, Wagga region has lots of interesting small towns in the area and are well worth visiting.
