"We stopped at Waukagen for 2 nights and chose to stay at Candlewood suites because of it's great location. Situated right opposite Wal-Mart's and local restaurants, 20 mins drive to Kenosha made it very convenient for us . The rooms came with complete kitchen utensils, bathrooms were big and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. So for, it's the only inn that provides free laundry facilities. "

"When we got into our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke. There was dust all over the floor, dirty towels left in the closet, food from previous customers still in the fridge, yellow-stained toilets and shower. The worst part is that there were roaches in the shower. We even spotted roaches under the kitchenette table and saw one climbing up the leg of the kitchenette chair. Needless to say, we were in the room for less than 10 minutes. The staff on duty offered to give us a new room, but the establishment itself clearly does not take time into cleaning their rooms. We left and went to a different, much cleaner place that cleaned our rooms for us every single day we were there. To make matters worse, we left our name and number for management to contact us when she was back into the office on Monday as well as tried calling back to this location ourselves. No response. We’re very unsatisfied with our experience, their lack of professionalism, and their subpar customer service."
