"This was my second stay at 'Nomads' & I have had a great time on both occasions with the Shuttle bus service & storage area this place is Awesome! Sailing out of Airlie Beach I just needed some where cheap to rest, shower & recoup this place answers the lot for me! Thou being a Backpackers stay I was obviously the oldest customer there, I have always been treated equally & with respect, I would recommend this cheap basic accommodation for any persons over 35yrs or older, I would not recommend it to families with small children You couldn't get more central to the heart of Town, Transport, Restaurants, Swimming or Beach area's of Airlie, I will be back!"

"I had the most amazing time at Mantra Club Croc! All the staff were absolutely friendly and amazing, never experienced that before! The facilities were amazing! The pool aérea was really great and I had a good time relaxing while having few drinks by the pool. The location was great , literally a very nice 20 minute walk into Airlie or a 2 minute bus ride. The room was great, clean and comfortable. Will be going back to the same hotel on my next time in the Whitsundays. "

"We stayed at Heart Hotel and Gallery Whitsundays for 3 nights. Located in the very center of Airlie Beach, the hotel provides easy access to local restaurants, shops and tour operators. The hotel has been recently opened and in a refurbished building of the town center. Rooms are not spacious however they are modern and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We will return again to the Heart Hotel and Gallery Whitsundays."

"We visited Whitsundays for the first time. It was my wife's birthday and we chose Airlie beach for her birthday getaway. We went through many properties while selecting one for our stay and we chose Mirage Whitsundays. We weren't sure how it's going to be but the minute we stepped into the property, we looked into each other's eyes and we had that smile on our face (mission successful). We were extremely satisfied with our decision of locking down Mirage for our stay. This property is just awesome. We went for one bedroom apartment but to our shock that one bedroom apartment was so big that we just couldn't believe our eyes. We were given horizon apartments and we had amazing view. The apartment was huge and so beautifully decorated that wer just loved our stay. Furniture looked brand new and was of good quality. It was worth every penny. Totally recommend Mirage Whitsundays. Infact it was one of the best place amongst others nearby. "

" I booked a 4 day stay in a studio apartment through Agoda based on the details of the property on their site, which included the reference to a full kitchen facility. On arrival at Boathaven our room only contained microwave, toaster & jug (not sufficient for meal preparation). When I raised the issue with the resort I was told our studio room had never had a full kitchen facility. Room details need to be sorted out between booking agent and property operators to ensure travellers know exactly what they are getting prior to arrival!!"

"Although most people visit Airlie Beach as a gateway to the Whitsunday Islands, staying at Magnums is a highlight in itself. The backpackers consists of numerous wooden units spread within a huge tropical garden, not noticeable from the outside. Each unit consists of 12 outside-facing wood-constructed rooms, grouped in 3's with their own sharing shower, washbasin and toilet. A few communal kitchens are available, as well as laundry facilities."
