"We loved everything about Loherb, especially how much effort the local hosts take in going the extra mile for their guests. They serve complimentary western style high tea, all food items was planned by a nutritionist, so the meals were very well balanced and extremely delicious and flavorful! We had our lunch, high tea and breakfast all within their cafe! Loherb takes pride in the quality of their food, the food was really yummy!!! Our room was clean, luxurious and modern with full bay windows, and our balcony overlooked the padi fields and mountains. It was so relaxing to sit at the balcony and admire the scenery. The facilities are very new and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we watched the tv on a large scroll down projector screen, which made it feel like watching a movie! Loherb also has their own aroma essential oil which I absolutely love, you can put it into the hot water bath or in the aroma diffuser. There is also a platform on the top level for star gazing (if the weather permits). They also provide bicycles if you want to cycle around the padi fields. Overall, out of our 10 days in Taiwan, this is one of the best stays! We would stay here again if we come to Taiwan! Thank you so much for the memorable experience!"

"Country road B&B is one of the best accomodation I stayed in my travel through out Taiwan for the past 4 years! Location wise is about 8mins drive from Jiaoxi train station by Taxi and it not near any restaurant or convenient store but it was near the houdongkeng waterfall and lovely mountain with cover with misty fog. It so refreshing in the morning to see the mountain and listen to the sound of the river running by the side of the hotel. I booked the deluxe room with balcony and View room which is the biggest room type they offer. Service is excellent, friendly and warm. The hotel serves diffutype of breakfast Everyday and it was very tasty! Will come back again. "

"We enjoyed our stay despite visiting in the off season when almost all other businesses were closed. The hotel is just a straight ten minute walk from Waiao train station but you do have to walk along a busy road for part of it. The staff didn’t speak much English but all were helpful and willing to use google translate when necessary. The rooms all have an ocean view and the huge bathtub was almost like having a pool in the room! Wonderful smelling and quality bath products and comfy bathrobes were provided. The included breakfast was simple but sufficient (eggs, toast, a few meat options, and fruit). We did wish for bigger/more coffee but there’s a lovely cafe a short walk away which we got our caffeine fix at. The beach is a bit dirty and not very safe for swimming but it is a popular surfing spot and there are protected areas for cliff exploring or to try wading in."
