Very cozy”
A lot of care goes into the maintenance of the garden and the plants. The pool was awesome. The room spacious and clean and the bathtub was lovely. Also a lot of nice coffee places near the hotel

Nice staff, good location”
The staffs are friendly and nice. We came to the hotel quite early before the check in time and had a lot of suitcases but the reception said that we could leave our stuff there and they would let us know when the room is ready. The around 1pm I received a call that our room was ready and quite surprised that all our luggages were brought to rooms already. That was so kind of them. We had a great stay in Cityhouse generally

Great location, was 15min to all the main attractions. Only downside was the shower which had no barrier so water got everywhere. However, great value for money. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We used CityHouse - City Oasis as our base while in Ho Chi Minh city and it didn't disappoint. This really is amply named, it truly is an Oasis in the midst of the city and within walking distance of most of the major sights and attractions.

Beautiful scenery but some problems”
We stayed in 4 accommodations in the same price range throughout our stay in Vietnam and this is definitely the most Instagrammable. The plants and its unique layout is stunning. Services are OK but we noticed two problems. First, the toilets tended to smell for some odd reason and we could not find someone to help resolve this late at night. Secondly, the house slippers looked dirty so we didn't end up using them. The cleanup was thorough though and the staff are courteous and friendly. 4/5 stars

The exterior is impressive! So much so that both days we were there, there was a professional pictorial of some sort happening by the pool. The room itself is minimalist but has everything that you need. It even has a stove! But I dont know why you would want to cook. Right across is a very nice cafe called Bean There and a minute away, a bunch of small eateries. The things I didn't like: -bathroom design prioritized aesthetic over practicality. The bathtub slightly wobbles when you move and there is no niche or counter space by the bath area for toiletries. You have to awkwardly bring the toilet seat down, place your toiletries on top while you reach for it and balance while the bath tub wobbles. Grrrr! -location is in District 1 but not as close to Ben Thanh and other attractions. The closest, though it's still a bit of a walk is Binh Tay Market and Bui Vien Street (red light district). - The hotel is in a super narrow alley. So when you're dropped off, it will have to be on the main road. This is not so bad as it is quite close. Just a hassle though when you have huge bags like we did and it's raining...

Decent, not great”
At first I didn’t understand how a place that look so good in the pictures was only a 3-star hotel. Unfortunately, upon arrival, more specifically upon entering my room, it became more understandable. The room itself appeared for the most part, to be visibly clean. However, the room had an awful smell and the tub/shower had obviously not been recently cleaned. Thankfully I only needed the place to unwind for a few hours between flights and didn’t need to spend the night. If I’m honest, I don’t think I would have slept there overnight.

My trip was with 5 adults, 2 small kids (rent 2 rooms) Plus points: - good location - each room like a studio room with full kitchen stuffs - receptionist staffs friendly. Minus points: - housekeepers very rude, and stingy. Rate 1/5 for them. Only gave few pieces of tissues to use, asked for toilet paper but they get angry for non sense and have very bad attitude (eventhough i gave tip every morning). - Toilet always have bad smell - The swimming pool always dirty, it's just looks nice for taking photos but definitely can't swim. - Can't use the safety locker
