We booked to run away from the city for one day and it was really worth it, the rooms are clean, well distributed, spacious and comfortable. We had a really good time in the swimming pool, specially at night with lights on. Thank you so much.

The hotel staff are nice. Tho, compared to other "Big" hotels in Cebu which they dont charge early check in after 7am (I am a frequent traveler in Cebu) , Cityscape charged early check in for 1000 even it is already 10am and they are not fully book or there is room available. Overall, the rooms are nice.

The place was good but the customer service is bad. The hotel didn't have us towel. No rug outside the CR. We keep on calling asking for towel and no towel arrived until we check-out. Please improve your customer service.

Not Good”
Too many Cockroaches. We already told the front desk about it, they just spray the room but still Cockroaches are everywhere. Untill our last night they changed our room, no more cockroaches but the AC also is not functioning well.

Very Impressive”
I recently stayed at Cityscape for a few nights, arriving late in the evening it did take awhile for the staff to find my booking though. Besides that it was the only hiccup on what I would describe as an amazing hotel experience. From the staff to the food, to the luxurious room, heavenly pillows and bed it was a hotel I will always go back to each time I’m in Cebu. The large LCD TV was perfect for watching my favorite sports. The remote controlled air conditioning was top notch and some nice little touches in the room like the bedside lamp looked great when all the other lights were turned out. The city views I had in my room were amazing. The bathroom was top class with nice touches to make you feel special. The mini-bar was fabulous but be careful you don’t go overboard like I did. In fact the hotel has everything you need here with the first class first cuisine served in the restaurant at 3 star prices. The staff also went out of their way to help me with an issue with my safety box. I could not really fault this place and I think it should be a 4 or 5 star hotel. I was lucky to get a great deal on Agoda too so the price for me was excellent. Apparently there is a gym and swimming pool from the photos here but I never realized that until after I left. If I had to think of one word to sum up the Cityscape hotel it would be “impressive”.

Been to three hotels on this visit to Cebu, and Cityscape ranks No. 1 in the service department, compared to all other hotels I've booked online and elsewhere! Super great service, everyone so genuinely warm to guests. Check-in was fast & hassle-free, didn't have a printout of the voucher but reception was nice enough to make one for me. Even security was quick to help us get a cab each time we headed out. The room looked & smelled clean. Loved the plump pillows! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and came up to a made up bed and a couple of sweet treats! Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to this city.

Good hotel spoilt by cheap fittings”
when i visit cebu i usually stay at the alpa city suites hotel, but after reading reviews elsewhere decided to stay at the cityscape hotel for a change. i like this part of town as it is convenient for most places i want to go in cebu. i stayed in 'deluxe' room 16-02 in october, not high season and the hotel was not full. the room size was adequate, but not generous. no in-room safety deposit box. the shower was a generous size, but the water flow was a trickle, maybe because of being on the 16th floor. all the staff were great, except for one grumpy individual at breakfast one morning, and to be honest if i had been on duty from before 6am i would have been grumpy. the only reason i noted it was because of the beaming smiles on all the other staff. the beds were firm and very comfortable. the top floor was the 17th and contained a large function room and the swimming pool. i poked my head in the function room to be nosey and the stereo was blasting out at ear damaging volumes to an empty room. the soundproofing must be good as no sound leaked into my room directly below. the swimming pool is small, but with great views. there is a small gym with 4 machines in it on the 16th floor. i never saw anybody using it. the wifi signal was good and free at my room price. breakfast was also included, but was very limited in choice and had no 'western' options apart from toast and marmalade. it was only after a couple of days that i discovered you could ask for fried eggs, it was not publicised. the schindlers lift (sorry could not resist that) had touch controls and would occasionally also activate stopping at the 6th floor for no apparent reason. i had to extend my stay in cebu and i moved back to the alpa suites hotel for two reasons. the breakfast and the shower. despite being new the cityscape seems to be built with cheap fittings. e.g. one wall in the shower was not tiled, just black rubberised paint.

My stay in Cityscape hotel was indeed one of the most unforgettable Cebu stay I ever experienced in my travel because even if I had just a day, I still managed to go in many spots because of the location wise and of course, the transportation was just easy because there are so many tricycles waiting outside the hotel. The hotel room was small but I was able to sleep well and I felt so comfortable. I will promote this hotel to my family and friends for them also to experience the great stay and definitely in my next trip, Cityscape Hotel will still be my choice.

Big rooms, good Wifi, Friendly staffs”
I stayed in Cityscape in their deluxe room, the room was big and spacious. I went to the hotel at arnd 10 am and requested an early check-in, the staff immediately organised my check-in with a smile, the location is a little off from Cebu city but easily accesible by taxi and taxis are available round the clock...nice comfortable beds, the wifi connection was free and the speed was gud, the water pressure was a little low and the buffet breakfast was minimal but i dont really bother for the money i had paid for the room...over all a value for the agoda price and i wud stay here again

Loved the hotel and the atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was big and clean with a great view over Cebu city. Pool area was nice but quite small.

we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a smiling lady at reception, who was polite and nice, and we were also given a welcome drink each (pineapple juice). check-in was a breeze and we were brought up to our rooms (3 rooms for 6 of us) on the 3rd floor. each room had a small balcony, a queen-sized bed as requested, a television which had some nice movies and cable channels. the bathroom was a standing shower with shower curtain and standard amenities. my friend complained that her bathroom flooded each time they took a shower, but my room was fine. the hot water heater was working perfectly and the water pressure was good. our mirror was quite badly stained/rusty but it wasn't a problem for us. we went up to the pool at 10.30pm thinking it was still open but it was not, and quite dark. the water looked murky and it felt like it was still under construction? or maybe just plain like the previous review said that it could be prettier. but in any case perhaps they cleaned the pool every morning before it opens to the public, so i suppose if there's clean water, the infinity pool aspect of it should be more than enough! there was a room service menu which featured affordable rates for the dishes, and there was also a mini bar, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water. the beds were very comfortable and we had 2 pillows each. we liked it that their service was good, we bought some bottled beer back to the room as 2 of us in our group had their birthdays that night. we requested for ice and a bottle opener from the hotel and it was promptly sent up to our room each time. the hotel staff were really nice and friendly, even on the last day after we checked out, we deposited our luggage at the hotel and went out to do last minute shopping, and when we came back for our baggage, the staff were still asnice and friendly! it really made a difference as we felt they were sincere and very hospitable, especially one of the male staffs who spoke good english!

if you are looking for a good hotel in the center of cebu - cityscape hotel need to be considered. the hotel offers all you need – from a good, filipino breakfast buffet via tv, pool and bar to arrangements to continue your travel - for a reasonable price. don't look around - check it out.

Nice Hotel for the price”
This was my first stay in Cebu. The hotel location is close to Mactan Airport and SM. Front desk was very helpful with all my requests. Has 2 first come, first serve computer internet stations available in lobby to check email, bank balances, etc. This is a fairly new hotel. One of the taxi drivers didn't even know about it. The free breakfast buffet is very basic. Selection not great and eggs have to be special ordered. I guess because I'm spoiled with the American buffet, I expected more. Swimming pool is small with limited space. Overall, I would rate my 7 day stay as above average for the price , twin bed Deluxe

since the hotel is just newly opened you can still smell the scent of the paint . the hotel is okay especially the food buffet but the pressure of the water is not that strong thus we are having difficulty while taking a shower. the hotel itself is near to the tourist attractions of cebu.

a typical good and nice 3 stars hotel”
i consider this hotel in my personal ranking as a good, nice and a clean 3 stars hotel.It feels and it is very recent build. Sofar everything is working perfect, from aircon to shower. On the rooftop you will find a nice small swimmingpool with a super city view while swimming, even better in nighttime. The breakfast is a buffet style, plenty but perhaps to much filipino style but very delicious and well presented. the only minus point as many hotels in this price range is the size of the rooms. And again i was touched by the service with a small from all staff. My conclusions is that i will and want to recommend this hotel. As last is important to know that the location is ideal because is near to city & all malls and seaport by a short taxi ride below 60php

Great Location, Friendly and helpful staff”
This hotel was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice and helpful. John is a really cool guy and did whatever he could to make sure I had the best stay possible. The hotel is prime location and only a 70 peso cab ride to either SM or Ayala. 80 peso ride to IT park, and 100 peso ride to Mango Square. I liked this place so much I extended my stay for 5 more nights. Top notch service, and the rooftop pool had a great view of the whole city. Some parts were still under construction because this place is really new, but once it's finished it will easily be a better hotel than Alpa Suites which is right down the street. I also had the option of free breakfast, but never took advantage of it. Overall a 5 star experience. Highly recommended.

great location”
i enjoyed my stay at city scapes hotel. the location of the hotel is very ideal for our travel because its near the malls, the airport, and the venue for the concert that we watched that time. the staff are very accomodating and very prompt in their services. very prompt in facilitating check in and check out. i really loved their infinity pool on the rooftop. nice view of the city. i had a good night sleep, their beds are very comfortable. the room is clean. breakfast was great too. generally the hotel is nice except for the very low ceiling that is not ideal for tall guests like foreigners.

Good location bad breakfast.”
There is still construction going on in the hotel so if you want to spend time in your room between 8 am and 5 pm dont stay here its very noisy. They have very nice photos og the breakfast buffet, but it does not live up to the photos. Every morning i come to eat there is just a bit of mellon melted butter, fried spam and bread that has to be toasted since its frozen. All in all the rooms are really nice, some of the nicest i have seen in cebu, and good location and nice staff.

Lovely staff a bit too try hard though”
we had nice tidy room with crispy fresh bed linen. the bathroom was tiny with very few toiletries. by the end of our stay we had some ants moving in there... there was a huge storm one night and as a result the power went out for a good half day, as well as no wifi. but all these were offset by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff who made us great &perfect breakfasts, jumped when we called them with always a smile on their faces. the hotel is in mandaue city, a short taxi ride from both down and uptown (appr. 110 pesos), airport about 180 pesos away. try neo neo bbq restaurant - its a walkable place about 15 min from the hotel. i learnt it's a chain, but very good selection of meats and fish.
