Two thumbs up”
Stayed one night as a couple. very quiet room, romantic view, pool is clean, room is organized with fridge, love the terrace in sea view, breakfast food is good, tv with cable, bed is comfortable, fast and safe elevator. Two thumbs up for this hotel. will be staying again.
Simple but Good”
Rooftop pool is good. Room air con is working well. Staff were helpful and Housekeeping very good. Breakfast is plated due to the lack of a breakfast hall. Maybe due to much needed renovation downstairs. Everything else is fine. Good value for money.
New hotel with clean amenities”
Accommodating service - security/parking assistance - nice, courteous staff service Spacious rooms - hotel rooms are quite spacious and clean, with terraces - complete bed and bath amenities - nice price for the comfortable rooms New hotel amenities - clean infinity pool - modern elevator - breakfast choices are limited, but includes items that can be served as lunch
relatively new hotel!”
we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a smiling lady at reception, who was polite and nice, and we were also given a welcome drink each (pineapple juice). check-in was a breeze and we were brought up to our rooms (3 rooms for 6 of us) on the 3rd floor. each room had a small balcony, a queen-sized bed as requested, a television which had some nice movies and cable channels. the bathroom was a standing shower with shower curtain and standard amenities. my friend complained that her bathroom flooded each time they took a shower, but my room was fine. the hot water heater was working perfectly and the water pressure was good. our mirror was quite badly stained/rusty but it wasn't a problem for us. we went up to the pool at 10.30pm thinking it was still open but it was not, and quite dark. the water looked murky and it felt like it was still under construction? or maybe just plain like the previous review said that it could be prettier. but in any case perhaps they cleaned the pool every morning before it opens to the public, so i suppose if there's clean water, the infinity pool aspect of it should be more than enough! there was a room service menu which featured affordable rates for the dishes, and there was also a mini bar, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water. the beds were very comfortable and we had 2 pillows each. we liked it that their service was good, we bought some bottled beer back to the room as 2 of us in our group had their birthdays that night. we requested for ice and a bottle opener from the hotel and it was promptly sent up to our room each time. the hotel staff were really nice and friendly, even on the last day after we checked out, we deposited our luggage at the hotel and went out to do last minute shopping, and when we came back for our baggage, the staff were still asnice and friendly! it really made a difference as we felt they were sincere and very hospitable, especially one of the male staffs who spoke good english!
great new hotel-first class”
the hotel is 20 mins to airport-on a good day!!!i received first class treatment ant this followed thriugh to all staff-how does a room attendant always remember your name-i know what you are thinking-he has a list of guests- but this is not the hilton. whilst staying there we had the aftershock of an earthquake from an other island- the building shook and we were all summoned and a proper drill was carried out-no panic- all staff knew exactlty what to do.i stayed in the standard room- big lcd etc-bedding 5 star-dream sleep.whilst the food was very good and the choice very good- there are still a few teething problems-i will be staying at this hotel everytime i come to cebu.i do hope the management stays the same and the service also.
The hotel is along the main road, but not near to restuarant or decent convenient store. The room that I was in was not well lighted. When I requested for brighter bulb or even just to replace the one in the lampshade, they were not able to provide me one. They don't provide complimentary toothbrush and when I asked for a toothpaste for which they can charge me with since its the only thing that i needed, there was none. Also, when I was waiting at the lobby, their staff was manually sweeping the floor without minding that a guest is just right infront of her.
Toiletries not complete. Staff said per request, i requestd & waitd. I Call again, ans out of stock”
The staff should inform us they dont have the stock for the toiletries i requested. They waited me to call them back again. It is in their advertisement. The room has its conresponding coffee service, buy they dont have. Change your pictures misleading information.
We are couple staying at a hotel we booked ofcoures a double bed deluxe but staff gave us two-single beds for seven nights they didn’t even bother to listen to our request and the aircon was leaking. They are not so responsive to the guest request!. We will not stay here again.
The jam is crazy just outside the road of the hotel. Except for early morning and midnight, it was always jam. Breakfast wasn’t free too. I was involved with a scam and asked the hotel staff to help me call the police, instead she just laugh along with the scammer when they spoke in Philippine language. Eventually she called the police and when the line got through she just pass the phone to me without offering to help me speak to the police in Philippine language. Overall, I will not return to that hotel for sure.
Expectations VS Reality”
The photos posted in Agoda doesn't match in a way the actual room. In my opinion, it's kinda small. The room we stayed in had leaks in their AC and we had to get the trash can and place it under the leak so that the water wouldn't go everywhere. Breakfast was a measly 1 cup of rice corned beef and egg with instant coffee. The pool is satisfactory. And to put the nail in the coffin, when we were about to check out, the ONLY functioning elevator was not functioning so we had to take the stairs the from the 7th floor only to find out that there was a child trapped inside the elevator on the 15th floor! Poor kid. We left the building, never finding out what happened to the kid.
always free rooms near SM city”
little chaos around booking, I ordered by agoda, I thought that I paid, coz agoda, but they told me that reservation came by booking.com and I had to pay at reception.
It was okay experience”
Too bad the pool was under construction during our stay I believe we were on the 8th floor and the elevator was busted when you try to go down so you have to go 1 floor down via stairs to ride the elevator Staff was friendly especially the one who cooked our breakfast in the cafe.
The staff was inconsiderate with the 1 hr extension request.
Sadly from when I arrived the problems started. Hotel tried to book me in a standard (base) room with 2 single when I booked a Delux with King. They moved me no problems however room is on corner hotel which had lots of road noise and no black out curtains. Breakfast isn't buffet its just a simple choice of eggs and bacon/sausage/corned beef and cooked to order. One elevator didn't work. Used stairs (level 5) most times. Had wine in lobby but no one could tell me how much over 3 days. Does have a rooftop pool. Won't be coming back.
hotel really deteriorated”
Used to be a decent hotel when it opened. When I arrived, was forced to wait 40 min because they overbooked. Then the room I was given was very hot because air con wasn't working. They tried to fix it - 3 times - telling me each time its fixed. But me and my partner are the ones can't sleep. They will not change us to another room because they are booked. The pressure on the washbin is very weak. The toilet not flushing, had to open and fix myself. Staff were trying to help but I guess they can't fix bad aircon, it needs to be replaced. Had a terrible sleep not worth the money. Breakfast was very plain and simple. No safe or fridge in the room. What happened to this hotel?? Maybe it was bad luck but come on, don't tell me aircon is fixed when it wasn't. Will not return again. They really need to start from scratch. They used to be a nice hotel.
the price is too high and the service is so poor.. at their current rate.. the breakfast was so bad but in other hotels of the same price. you can get a very choice in a buffet breakfast worst of all.. parking is at across the busy street and no one helped us with our luggages.
Bad service and poor location ”
It's tough to get a taxi from here. Not much within walking distance . Dirty part of town. Front desk couldn't find my Agoda reservation (first time that's ever happened). Got "upgraded" after a 2 hour wait at check-in. The "upgraded" room was comparable to a room at Quest, but the hotel was pretty bad. Housekeeping came by once in 3 days. Access to the pool on the roof requires a call to the front desk- they keep the door locked. It was dirty, small, and poorly maintained. Wifi was slow when it occasionally did work. Breakfast was Filipino style - 2 options, both bad. There's a laundry place right next door, so that was nice.
just normal hotel in cebu city, but not close to entertain down town. generally clean and comfortable hotel and if you want to go city, easily can reach to any place in city but just few massage shop and restaurant near hotel
Not the best”
On the upside, the hotel is full of expensive looking things, but the stuff that really matters (to me at least) let everything down. The bed is okay. The breakfast was a cheap corners-cut buffet style thing. Food at the restaurant was very poor, and a refund was refused on 1 item, even though we ordered several other things. Half of the TV channels don't work. The thing you really have to remember though, is that this hotel has 20+ floors. It is the very definition of impersonal. I found this out when it came to check out. I was handed a bill, scribbled on a scrap peice of paper, for "new linen" due to some stains. Yeah we ate pizza in the room, and complained about the food the next day, so this was the revenge? The housekeeping manager was very unpleasant. They refused to let us see the sheets, and refused to let me have them cleaned independently. My bags were held hostage and I got very upset with this obvious rip-off. They refused to show me any evidence of the price of a set of new linen, and they failed to show me any policy that states such charges. But with my stuff held hostage, I had no choice but to pay. The final amount was agreed. (apparently linen prices are negotiable, who knew!). This kind of extorsion gives Filipinos a bad name, and the hotel too. I'm very sad to have had such an experience.
Not to be repeated”
The hotel looks far nicer from the outside; when you enter you receive a good welcome but from that point on it tends to disappoint in every department. The food menu is all fatty foods with no salads so you have to head out if you want something healthy which i did. You do that and you have to meander the dirty roads as there are few pavements but thats the same throughout Mandaue sadly. I only stayed here because other local hotels were full. I will not repeat that mistake.
