Very friendly and inviting couple owner managers providing varying levels of accommodation styles from four cottages situated on their own property. These range from a cozy romantic couples single room cottage to two bedroom, lounge and kitchen suitable for small families. Cottages are situated amongst a beautiful lush garden setting with abundant native bird life.

It was absolutely awesome to staying Clarendon Cottages. You'll see amazing breakfast stuffs prepared as picture described. The staff was very friendly. We'll stay there if we have another chance to stay in Mel.

Gorgeous cottage in pictureque location”
Stayed in Dovecot Cottage the smallest of the 3 cottages but was perfect for 2 people for 1 night. The bathroom is a good size and so is the bedroom which had 3 windows looking out to the bush and trees. Very quiet and picturequest location and not far from a local pub and several restaurants and shops. Lounge room also looked out to a lovely English style garden. Furniture and fittings were very English and you could imagine you were in an English country cottage. Breakfast provisions were provided and with a microwave we easily cooked eggs and toast. Cereal, fruit and juice were also provided. As well of course as tea and coffee and homebaked cookies.

Excellent experience”
We stayed one night at Stable cottage at Clarendon's cottage after we rode puffing billy. It's about 15 minutes drive from puffing billy. The 2-bedroom cottage is very spacious and well equipped. Our kids enjoyed the board games and DVDs a lot. We see also supplied with enough food for breakfast and house wine. Washing machine and dryer are available too. The neighborhood is serene and it's a pleasant experience to take a walk in the mountain fresh air. Will definitely come back again!

We spent a night at this beautiful cottage. It was very nice and quiet. The owner was very attentive. There're a lot of details offering in the cottage: a full set of breakfast or even an Australian tawny to help us get better sleep. This is probably one of our best experiences staying in this type of hotels.

Very close to perfect indeed”
My family and I had a short stay at the Stables cottage and it was lovely. Pam and Ian gave us a warm welcome and a short tour of the cottage to ensure that we understood the functions. The cottage itself gives off a rustic Victorian vibe without compromising on comfort and modern amenities (pretty strong wifi). Everything really was perfect. The only issue I would say to future travelers staying there is that the driveway is pretty tight so take caution when driving in. Definitely recommended. Whether you are a couple on honeymoon or a family looking to relax and recharge, you will be able to find a cottage that suit your needs.

Cozy Cottage with Wood Fireplace”
What a wonderful place. With only three cottages on the property, owners Ian and Pam give great attention to detail and seemed to be always available for questions. The wood fireplace and free firewood was perfect to take the chill from the mountain air at night. Great location, full kitchen with a breakfast basket provided. We would stay here again for sure.

Lovely and memorable stay”
Beautiful cottage with lots of little thoughtful touches to make a lovely and very memorable stay. We loved everything about it from the cosiness to the generous portions of breakfast. A bottle of port and chocolates as a night cap was a wonderful idea. We had a pleasant stay and would love to return one day soon.

Romantic getaway ”
We stayed in the cosy Dovecote Cottage for 1 night. The facilities are great and the bathroom is a good size with a bath. There’s also undercover parking. The only criticism we have is there’s no Netflix or Foxtel, so if you’re wanting to have a movie night, I would recommend bringing your own DVD’s. Other than that, it’s a lovely property in a good location.

A really beautiful place to stay! Especially for the city folks because the surrounding gardens and woods were simply beautiful and relaxing, very good if you want to escape the pollution and stress of city life. The cottage was very cozy and it was nice to be able to cook some decent breakfast while on holiday. The rooms were clean and neat and the owners, Pam and Ian, were very friendly. Will definitely go back again!

Very nice, but not really a full cottage as extremely limited cooking facility in this particular cottage, which had a tiny living area. The garden setting was classic cottage gardens. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast does not include bacon, just eggs that you have to microwave.
