Acceptable”
This hotel was not cleans. There were stains and hair on the sheets burn marks in the furniture. The fridge made an awful noise had to unplug. The other guests were smoking pot and other stuff. They were loud all hours of the night. Went to the front desk at 4 am and the guy basically said I was a liar. Do not stay here

Poor management ”
This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at!

Smell of cigarettes and lack of maintainance”
The facility has a lot of potential, beautiful real estate with grand deseign but it is not even close to its full potential. My room was clean but old and smelled of smoked. A lot of screaming was heard from many rooms and a lot of night traffic on the floor. It is okay for a short time for a small price. The breakfast is the most disappointing i have seen.

Embarrassed”
Hotel manager berated an employee in the lobby. Embarrassed for everyone involved. Wi-Fi was (for all intents) non-existent. The "FREE" continental breakfast was $7.95. The man on the desk (Bobby I think his name is) and Michael (the chef) were courteous and friendly- both were the reason the staff went from 0 to 3 stars.

Quick nights stay to enjoy Wilmington for a day.”
Nice hotel has both positives and negatives. You can't beat the hotel for the money you pay. The hotel was clean and is being renovated, but seems like Reno is taking a while based on older reviews. It's a very nice hotel that once finished will be worth $150+/night. Restaurant and lobby are in good shape. Breakfast was good and they have a nice bar and atmosphere. The pool looked to be in great shap. Snack area for drinks/candy, etc. Outsidebeing refinished currently so will be ver nice once it's done. Floors and carpets in lobby/hallway seem clean but are worn and tearing at seams, hotel rooms look updated but not all are perfect. The first room we were given clearly has water issues. Minute u opened the door it smelled damp, floor and beds felt damp, even with AC on. Ceiling had what looked like mold spurs on it. Asked for a new room, the second room was perfect. re done with what looked like new carpet, walls, fixtures, no issues, just some older furniture. Would stay here again.
