Gorgeous roof top”
Well located near Passeig de Gracia, 20 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Lots of eateries nearby. Lovely welcome with complimentary cava - which you can help yourself, plus sweets. Huge room, clean bathroom although a bit hard to clamber into the path for a shower - a consideration if you're older. Pieces of antique and art everywhere. Didn't try out the spa, but the rooftop terrace was fab. Lovely to take a dip in the rooftop pool although be warned there's not that many loungers. I didn't try the restaurant but my friends were impressed. Didn't pay the extra for breakfast either as there were many places nearby (can recommend Lato cafe). Overall a treat of an experience.

Attention to detail!”
This was a very high quality hotel. Comfortable spacious beds and rooms and bathroom, free refreshments in fridge, great toiletries, attentive staff, and superb location that is in a great neighborhood walking distance from many places. We were even greeted with glasses of cava upon check in. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Is not 5 star worthy !!”
- The bathroom in the hotel was not very clean, the floor of the bathroom was not in good shape anymore. - The rooms are very cold and they have very thin walls so you hear everything the other visitors are doing. - The cleaning staff was not organized they came to our room by almost 12pm in the night to clean our room.Moreover they were very noisy which was disturbing because of the thin walls. - the private breakfast is a absolut scam !! - the staff was not friendly at all no one wished us a happy birthday or gave a small thing from the hotel and I have been to many 5 star hotels you usually get a small thing from the hotel.There was no kind of appreciation!! - the breakfast is not worth it at all.I would recommend eating at Brunch& Cake it’s not far and many people from the hotel eat there for breakfast. - Mario’s service was very bad he scammed us on our bill ( at the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor ) - the reception does not attend to you after 10:30 pm which is ridiculous!!!

Luxurious, small but unique”
I really enjoyed by stay at the Claris. Having been at the Mobile World Congress surrounded by 80,000 other people for a week, for my last day and a half in Barcelona I wanted to move somewhere quite, clean and beautiful. The Claris was perfectly located for me; close enough to the centre of town via a 15min walk, and far enough away to be quiet in the evening. Its a stones throw from some of the famous landmarks of the city (again within walking distance - 5-6 blocks to the La Sagrada Familia for example) and its situated at a nice crossroads with plenty of cabs of you need them. The room was large and very clean with lovely, Egyptian-themed fabrics and decorations, including some in glass cases (beware of your kids!). My stay included a complimentary pass to the Egyptian museum across the road (owned by the same group apparently) which was interesting and worthwhile. The staff were very attentive and very conversational without being annoying. The only quibble I had was breakfast - while it was delicious, it was a small buffet with some a la carte choices. I enjoyed it, but I know several of my colleagues would have enjoyed a much bigger spread as they are accustomed to at larger chains. I'll definitely stay again on my next visit to Barcelona. Very happy with my stay there.

Tranquility”
The photos doesn't do this hotel any justice. It is very beautiful. The hotel in general smell clean and fresh. Its very quiet. the fitness center is small but trust me, you can burned enough cal's, and the gym has a great view of the city. I had the duplex room when I stayed, I didn't want to leave the room because I was so in love with the room I was given. I never write a review before, but I actually would love to come back to Barcelona because of the hotel. Plus, I still have more exploring to do in Barcelona. I left my glasses there, that was the only sad part, but it was my fault. Beautiful hotel. Don't let any negative comment swayed you from booking. I work in the hotel industry, and when I was reading some of the comments I can tell you that A) People usually don't give the hotel the opportunity to fixed the issues. B) They just didn't get they way. #privileged #Entitlement . I did not get paid to write this review. I just love the hotel.

Center Stage”
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Claris but the overpowering smell of men's cologne in the lobby that was meant to entice was sometimes difficult to endure if one is sensitive to smells. The room was comfortable yet small and the breakfast was good but not great for the price. The staff was helpful, especially the doormen! The amazing artifacts on the first floor are not to be missed and the inclusion of same in the room was a nice touch. The location can't be beat to easily access all of Barcelona.

Nice, cosy hotel with a relaxing layout”
i enjoyed my stay at the claris hotel. it's easy to find, has very nice rooms with a lovely, relaxing look and feel to the hotel. the service was excellent, even if the food was slightly expensive. i also thought that the lack of free internet was a con. well, they actually had two computers that you could use to browse the internet for free, but they must be a good six or seven years old because the internet was still dial-up (!). it wasn't a major problem; just a slight inconvenience. the hotel is located in a really nice area, about five minutes walk from the main shopping street, and it is really good value for money.

stylish hotel, conveniently located”
Claris G T is conveniently located just 3 minutes walk from Passeig de Gracia train station, which makes it directly accessible from the airport. The hotel is very stylish, similar to a boutique hotel, with modern art items all around. The rooms are nice and quiet (double glazed). Staff was friendly. The roof top bar is a very pleasant place to chill out on evenings. Overall we liked the place for our short stay (2 nights). Being a well travelled couple for both business and pleasure, we found it a little bit over priced, yet we didn't feel that we were in a 4 stars hotel. May be the standards in Spain / E.U are different from Asia / US.

Beautiful hotel with impeccable service”
Such a beautiful hotel just minutes on foot away from the main thoroughfares of Barcelona. The room we stayed in was beautifully appointed with tasteful sculpture and dark colours. The staff are all very professional and welcoming, from the FOH to the floor staff. Breakfast is delicious, with a good range on the buffet and a selection of cooked-to-order hot dishes. I would definitely stay here again. There's a spa which we didn't get to experience due to a shortage of time.

Fantastic. Lovely breakfast. Expensive if not included, but worth paying as there was lots of choice and was delicious....fills you up for the day! Would definitely visit again. Just around the corner from Chane and other fabulous shops. Great location. Walking distance to segrada familia, catalunya square, las ramblas and gothic quarter. If you prefer to take a taxi it was around €7. There's a stop for open top bus in catalunya square which is approx 8-10 min walk. You get complimentary visit to the Egyptian museum, lots of complimentary items in room (sleep spray, slippers, toiletries, etc. All staff were very helpful. Beds and pillows comfortable. Hotel and breakfast area extremely clean. Nice Egyptian cotton bedding. Barcelona was a great place for families, and this hotel made our stay! We paid approx £250 per night for family executive suite.

Very good hotel - top comfort”
The room is great and contains pieces of art / attention to details were appreciated. the bathroom is big and has both shower and bath tub the hotel offers a small pool on top of the building and a bar open until 2am with champagne cup for a relatively cheap price! The hotel is classified as 5* GL however i found maybe a bit high : there are few details still to improve: absence of airport shuttle, only one small defective trash bin for the entire room and a water isolation in the shower cabin that is not perfect and water easily flows onto the toilets room aside.

A beautiful hotel central to everything. ”
This was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recomend it to others. The hotel is trendy and in a great location to have access to everything you want to do in Barcelona. The only negative is the rooms need to be a little more sound proof. I was waiting for the lift and was a little shocked to be able to hear clearly someone in the throes of ........ Well you know what I mean. Thankfully the lift came quickly . Other than that one experience I could not fault the hotel. The staff are wonderful and so pleasant.

my husband and i enjoyed our stay here. the hotel is beautiful -- a wonderful balance of barcelona style and functionality. location is superb. from the airport (bcn), you can take renfe trains to passeig de gracie station and walk 2 blocks to the hotel. subway is at the same station. great restaurants, bookstores, and shopping right there. check-in was swift. and, they provided us with extras -- 2 free drinks at the bar and 20% food and beverages at their beautiful terraces (rooftop) restaurant. will definitely stay here, again!

Comfortable stay in a beautiful hotel”
Very luxury stay in a high quality hotel! Excellent staff, beautiful room and entourage in the hotel (including Museum). Good restaurant facilities and in addition a rooftop pool, fitness, sauna and bar. Well placed in Barcelona on walking distance of many sights. Already the start of day with a vety nice and varied breakfast was excellent.

Most charming place I've stayed for a good while”
This place is superb. We stayed in the Grand Duplex Suite and it was absolutely everything that we wanted and hoped for. The photos don't do justice to the attention to detail, the design and the overall finish of this place. It's in a great location too, close to the Gaudi sites like Sagrada Familia (15/20 min walk) and 5 min to Casa Batllo. I hope I have chance to stay here again, this will be my first choice in Barcelona from now on for sure. Great effort by the staff.

Lovely room, great service, and central location”
Definitely more of a business-oriented hotel, but that's not to say it lacks character. The staff are helpful for anything you'll ask. There's a small outdoor pool on the roof, and a small gym. The breakfast downstairs is very expensive (~ 20 Euro pp), but you can actually get a great sandwich at the bar on the roof in the morning for a very reasonable price - and the coffee is great. The mini-suite is perfect size for a couple who just want a bit of extra space (with 2 decent-sized couches) to relax. It's more than just a bedroom without being more space than you'd use while sight-seeing. All-in-all, if you get a good deal on it, a great hotel!
