Friendly staff, clean & good value”
Very good value hotel. Everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel all done exceptionally well. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, rooms were very clean and the breakfast (while it was a basic continental offering) was very fresh and good quality. Location was in a fairly quiet area a short walk from the metro and close to supermarkets, patisseries etc

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were amazing and I cannot say enough about how nice and welcoming they were. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Basic hotel but suited us just fine. The location is good but if you want to be in central Paris I’d look at another place. I would say depending where we were going we would transit about 20 minutes each time. One con we had was a dog that would bark when the owners weren’t there and they usually didn’t get back till late so the dog would bark into the night.

Comfortable and convenient ”
Well situated hotel very close to Charonne metro station. We had a standard twin room which was fairly small but had all we needed for our 4 night stay including tea making facilities. Heating was able to be controlled by us which meant the room didn't get too hot. There is also a fan in the room. We were at the back of the hotel which was very quiet even with the window open. It was clean and the beds comfortable. The shower was powerful but let down slightly by the small cubicle. The night receptionist was very helpful in advising us of places to go and which buses and metros to use. There is also a good information folder at reception though I only found it as we were leaving. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel which looked to be the standard fayre but there are lots of cafes where you can breakfast within a short walk. There are a good number of restaurants within a few hundred yards. There is also a City Carrefour a couple of doors away.

In a neighborhood with few tourists, this little hotel offers pleasant service, clean rooms, and proper petit dejunier although the croissants are without much fresh snap. A bargain.

A stay in the Bastille area”
I had a very nice quiet room (whether street facing rooms would have been as quiet?) I used the back garden for reading. I did not take breakfast because I thought 13 euros too much though cafe breakfasts are expensive in Paris. A couple of small room problems I brought to the attention of management. One large problem is a restriction on the hotel computer. My airline required a printed boarding pass. The hotel's computer set-up has a printer but the software restricts printing bar codes. This must be corrected in this modern time with new airline requirements.

Great place with everything that you need ”
We were on our honeymoon and would go out most of the day and this was the perfect place to rest and prepare during our mornings. The place was very clean, fresh, bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was also good.

The hotel located about strategize location which about 100 m from METRO, a small hotel with limited services could be expected from this hotel, the bathroom is small, no air conditioning, but the cleanliness and hygiene, is great!!!! Breakfast is provided: but don't expect too many things....

Good stay some issues”
We enjoyed our stay, thought breakfast was expensive at 13E. One night the night manager had the radio on very loud with all the windows open. He turned it down immediately at 1.30am when asked but it was pretty thoughtless.

Too noisy, thin walls”
I could hear mobile phone alarms from neighboring rooms. I could hear ever footstep in the spiral staircase. But the location is very nice, easy to get to metro, Pere Lachaise, Bastille, etc.
