Stormy Stay”
We got stuck in Siquijor due to a passing storm, but we were more than happy to stay at Cliff Side for an extra night. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the rough ocean! We would highly recommend a stay here!

Right on the beach and only few steps to the underwater paradise ”
The location is good! Located on the clean, beautiful beach and can run to the sea directly! There is a diving spot at front of the resort, u can enjoy snorkelling there. And the view is stunning in morning. Cottage was clean. Shower was half broken but there was a dipper. No food is provided but they offer soft drinks and alcohol. Highly recommend the restaurant called Ayan’s massage and local foods, which is located at the back of resort on the hill. 20 mins walk climbing the stairs behind and walk through the other hotel to there. I definitely would come back next time for the gorgeous underwater world.

Nice Resort”
Since we had some room on the Philippines, the Cliff side Resort was a nice change. It was very quiet there, no roosters that Crow and no music. The facility is clean and the staff friendly. The only thing was, is that the Cliff side Resort is very far away from the Centre. so if you want to have peace and seclusion, it is good. But if not, the way the scooter is very wide and long.

Great spot on the water”
This place is nice and quiet, right on the oceanfront and if you swim out in front of the cottages about 40m there are amazing corals and fish. Cottage was clean, good size, simple, bathroom had seen better days but for the price, i was totally satisfied. The nice girls on staff let us leave our bags behind the desk after check out so we could go exploring before our ferry. It will definitely help to rent a motor scooter if you want to stay here.

Super Peaceful place”
there are many things to love at this place. you can chill in the hammocks by the beach, dine at their restaurant with good food and relax at your nice and cozy private room. some things you need to know are the following, there are quite a number of dogs roaming in the area. but they are all super friendly, but still if you have dog issues, there might be a problem, the view in the beach is breath taking, but the shore is somewhat rocky, so you may want to find a better swimming spot elsewhere.

Room was clean, dogs were soooooo friendly, location is only 12 minute drive away from the pier, backs right onto a beach with a very nice area to relax with hammocks.

Place to Relax”
We had the air-con cottage #4 which was very adequate. The restaurant had a limited number of choices but the food was good. The beach was good for our young child (year and half). She could play on the sandy beach which was very long. The sea bottom there was shallow, safe for our child. Sandy bottom. The snorkeling was actually quite good directly in front of the restaurant. You had to swim out a bit far, but the coral there was mature and very colorful. Nice, quiet place for a family vacation.

Disappointing”
They didn't provide complementary water. All other hotels we have visited in the Philippines have done so. They didn't give us Wi-Fi codes for our room and no one was around to ask after 9pm. Eventually we fp2und them out. There was a blackout. Eventually they got the generator working, or the electricty was working again, but there was no communication. Restaurant shuts at 8:30pm and this hotel is far away from anything so there is nowhere else to get essentials, such as water-considering none is provided in the room. There was no one at reception after 9pm. The aircon sounded like the ferry that got us to Siquijor Island-very loud. The view is good but the beach isn't nice and the water ia dirty. You wouldn't want to swim in it! We didn't get a warm feeling from the staff on arrival and although they weren't rude, we didn't find them friendly. To be fair they were quite friendly the next morning and I had a pretty good breakfast and they were able to follow my request for real milk (not that powered creamer stuff-yuk) in my tea. The bed was a tad uncomfortable. Not the cleanest or most satisfying stay. To be fair the room was a decent size with a nice table and chairs for eating on. But not a very homely feel to it. A lot of work needs doing to make the rooms decent quality. The road (if you can call it that) leading to the resort is absolutely atrocious. Long, bumpy, stony, dirty and a few ups and downs. The pedicab could hardly negotiate it. I wouldn't book again based on the room and especially when considering value for money.

Hello Paul, Thank you for your reviews. I'm very sorry for the out f stocks when you was here for an overnight stay. Sometimes also our market is not really lots of stocks, we are just on an island. Sometimes and always I always look after my phone "not playing" hehe since my boss always communicate how's cliffside nowadays.
