Room is big. Complete amenities. Steps from Hakata station. Helpful and very professional staff. Within the hotel is a casino which we did not visit at all. But despite some reviews that reported the place smells of smoke, we did not smell any cigarette smoke at all. Highly recommended for those who want to travel the Kyushu peninsula via shinkansen, limited express, local, subways or even buses.

Location and Room space give it an edge”
It’s my nth stay at Clio Court, and it is always among my top options when in Hakata. It is literally just a few steps from the Chikusi exit gate. And while most business hotels will have a cubicle for a room, Clio welcomes you with its spacious rooms. Never mind if sometimes there’s a huge post in the middle of the room; at least you can easily move around, and even have a sofa inside. If there’s one area for continuous improvement it’s upgrading its breakfast buffet spread. Clio Court is an “old reliable” in a positive sense, and it still has my vote of confidence.

Pro: good location, just next to rail and bus terminal, easy to access the shopping malls. Con: The room is hot. You cannot turn on the cool air in winter. All window is locked & cannot be opened. You can only choose turn on or off warm air ventilation.

Worst of worst”
I'd been this hotel so many times, but this time it was the worst ever. When i got to the hotel it was already 2:20 but the rooms werent ready so we couldnt check in. We had no choice but leave the hotel with our tiring body. We came back in an hour the room was ready but they didnt put our luggage in the room, even they said yes when I asked them before we leave the hotel. Also they dont speak any english. It's ok their english isnt fluent. At least they tried to do their best to communicate witj their costumers. But they didnt even listen and NEVER tried. And the couch in the hotel room was so dirty and had huge and outstanding stain on it. It was so gross. I had to ask them to put the huge towel on it. Worst experience ever in japan

It was the best decision we made to stay in Clio Court..even though it was an old hotel. Location was excellent ..linked to Hakata station,rooms,toilet were large by Japanese standards.Breakfast was good,everything you need is in the rooms.A huge array of shopping available in Hakata station...amazing number of food and restaurants..Easy bus ride to canal city mall.. which is really a short walking distance.and easy subway connection to Tenjin shopping area. A few steps away are the meeting point for the tour bus companies.Even though it’s an old hotel ,cleanliness was superb and staff were very efficient.In closing. I would never hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone if they are visiting Fukuoka..it’s reasonably priced and Super value for money..

Stayed in a triple room at 11th floor from 15 May - 23 May 2015. It was spacious for the three of us including our luggages. Due to the high floor we got, the noise from pachinko didn't bother us at all. Awesome location as it is a stone away from hakata station. Hakata station also includes Amu Plaza, Tokyu Hands and Hankyu dept store. It made our traveling so much easier and we didn't have to worry about being late for our trains. We could also easily walk to Canal City within 10-15mins. This reminds me of the sweet smell of baked croissants that would linger the entire station. :) The staff was very helpful and acceded to our requests. Though some of the staff did not have a strong command of English but they really really tried their very best to serve us! Excellent customer service! For 1000¥ per adult, you could get a decent spread of breakfast buffet - a mixture of western and Japanese food. The pastries were freshly baked before serving to customers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you Clio Court Hotel for making my stay in Kyushu a wonderful and memorable one! :)

Very excellent experience in Clio Court Hakata Hotel! Excellent location. Easy to go Hakata station. Room is nice and Bathing supplies are good! if the bed can be harder, it is better.
