Cheap, Cheap, Cheap

The guesthouse is about 2-3 km. from Shiretoko Shari station I have to walk about 30~40 minute everyday back and forth to the hotel and station. Our couple room is tiny but clean. The guesthouse look alike hut made from wood. People there was really nice and one of the best thing about this place is the price! it was really cheap! recommend for budget traveller

Best guesthouse ever!”

I have been in many guesthouses in many countries and for me this one is definitely one of the best. The price you pay for what you get is ridiculous. The bed is very confortable, good wifi, kitchen with more than what you need, free onsen. Cheap beers and food are sold, free bikes to use. The place itself is very clean and beautiful. The staff is cool and welcoming. We spent nice evenings chating with every persons staying at the guesthouse. I felt so well there, such a good memory

Very cheap for a dorm room”

It is a 30 mins walk from JR Shari stn & in the evening, the road leading to the camp site is not lighted & you have to bring a torch light along. Everything is provided like shaver, tooth brush, cotton bud, towel. body gel & shampoo. There is only ONE TOILET EACH for male & female but did not encounter any problem using the toilet during my 6 days stay. You can buy instant noodles for 100 yen for breakfast & coffee & green tea bags, etc etc provided FOC also. In the evening, they have japanese barbecue, Gengzhis Khan barbecue & sukiyaki steam boat on different days for only 1000 yen, very very cheap. In fact, they lose money instead of making money as it is great value for money like providing crabs for the japanaese barbecue which easily cost 2500 yen each in the supermarket.

Lots of mosquitos in our room, but the room is pretty clean”

There were lots of mosquitos in our room, we need to kill them one by one. Understand that this guesthouse is located in the center of a camping ground, still, the housekeeper should make sure the room is completely cleaned, before we, the guest, move in. Location is a little bit to find, staff is nice with a smile. Overall, this guesthouse is worth to stay for 1 night.

We self-drive in Hokkaido therefore location of the accommodation isn't very important to us. It's a good place to stay if you have your own transport. The guesthouse is comfortable with friendly staff.

Super affordable with 24h onsen”

Per night we paid SGD 30/pax which was really affordable. Granted there are no luxury amenities like air-conditioning, however we got what we paid for. The room is clean. Toilets/shower/onsen rooms are communal and will have to queue to enter, however it's 24h so nothing to complain about. Free access to kitchen and utensils such as pots. There is free wifi and parking, and staff is friendly.

Very friendly and warm staff to make our stay comfortable. We self-drive in Hokkaido so that location of the accommodation isn't a problem for us. We like the open space and environment of the compound that we feel close to the nature.
