I had stayed at cloudy hostel for 3 nights, and it might be exceptional to me. Very great location for travelling by both BTS and MRT. It's quite near Bangkok downtown like Pratunam fashion mall, Pratunam local market, Central World, Big C Supercenter or Siam by walking out if you dont mind a lot. One thing I thing the onwer should improve facilities is the curtain for bunk beds . I think its quite a little bit uncomfortable for you guys while sleeping or doing something private. If you guys are just travelling alone or getting a someplace for resting after a whole day exploring Bangkok. how could it be better than cloudy hostel. Anyway, I did liked this hostel a lot. Then I will be recommending cloudy hostel to my friends of mine.

Do I like Cloudy hostel? a definitely yes!.. In all ways.. of conveniences. First it is located away from the main road but still a few meters from the BTS and SKYLINK metro stations, and the many forms of transportation found only in Bangkok such as the Khlongs (คลอง) boats. It is surrounded by several food stalls, family restaurants, markets, hardware stores post office and farmers markets. It is awesome! Something that Cloudy has that many others do not. They do their own laundry in machines that can reach the temperatures required to kill body lice producing pediculosis, and mites producing scabies’s. Additionally their laundered towels, sheets, bed covers and pillows smells so clean and fresh that it has not match. Their rooms are spacious including the 10 bed dorms. The beds are firmly built and attached so no movement from other guest can shake you up and tamper with your nerves. They are also well separated. Leaving a good space in between beds. Each bed provides wall hooks, night lights, and free electrical outlet a mini rack and Wi-Fi. They also have a reliable AC with usually very clean air filters; the dorms have an extraction fan to keep air flowing and most bad smells out. If your need laundry done they will do it for you in a timely manner, usually within hours if you ask them. The hostel owner has his own massage parlor located nearby and you may inquire about it. The dorm provides a balcony with hanging racks to put away smellier wet clothes or rained on until you can do laundry. The shower heads are fantastic almost like a caressing water massage and their liquid soap and shampoo are of high quality. The hostel guarantees quiet hours 10pm till 7am since it is not a party, not a loud music or drinking alcohol type of hostel. The cleaning crew as well as front desk are very nice and smiley they greet you with a special “WAI” (ไหว้) a Thai signature way of greeting. Will Definitely Come Back Next Time”
We had a wonderful stay at Cloudy Hostel, it's a well-maintained hostel with helpful staffs. We are a group of 7 and we stayed in the 7-pax apartment suite. Before commenting on the room and facilities, I would like to highlight on how helpful the staffs are. Our flight to Bangkok was terribly delayed and we will probably arrive at Cloudy Hostel at 10:30pm, which has passed the check in hour. We are worried that we will miss the check in hour so we gave the hostel a call before boarding from Malaysia. The staff was so helpful that she promised that she will wait for us, even though she has to work OT. We are sincerely grateful for this! All thanks to this lady, we managed to check in. Well furnished with IKEA furniture and utilities (Everything from the ceiling to the floor is from IKEA!), the room is stylish and modern. Toilet & beds are clean, I have no complaint at all. BTS & 7-11 are 2min away, there is a local market nearby where you can get good breakfast. Recommend to all!

Great place at the city center”
Cloudy Hostel is located near BTS Phaya Thai which makes it easier to go to and from the different tourist spots and shopping malls in the city. Platinum, Pantip, Pratunam and Central World are a 15-20 minute walking distance away. We stayed at the private room for 6 people and the room is good. They offer room cleaning upon request and provides bottled water everyday. There’s a common area in the floor where guests can make use of the common ref, water heater and utensils. Will stay here again when I visit Bangkok again.

Comfort stay at cloudy hostel ”
I stayed at cloudy hostel for 3 nights and it was definitely a pleasant stay. Great location and the hotel is very clean. Helpful staff. I will definitely go back to this hostel whenever I wanna travel to Bangkok again. It is no doubt worth the price.

the hostel was very good”
Its very near from Phyathau BTS and its very near to everywhere. Easy to find seven eleven when you need anything to eat or drink in the morning. Near the hostel there is a morning market selling food and the price was very cheap. And there was a hidden gem on phythai its a tom yum noodle! I think the tom yum noodle waaaas very gooooodddd. If you have spare time you should go there, it named pe’aor tom yum noddle. Its very nice nice staying at cloudy hostel. Thanks!

Good location, spacious room, clean”
We took the 4 persons room and it appears to be very wide and spacious which we really love it. Though it's located at 3rd floor but we are fine with it however for those that stays at 5th floor you'll need some time to transfer your luggage up and down not because of the weight but the narrow staircases. The hostel is well located near the Phaya Thai airport express link and BTS stations so it is very easy to travel around in Bangkok. Nearby to the hostel has at least 4 7-Eleven convenience store which we find it very suitable for hostellers. The hostel and it's Google map location is slightly off but the location of the hostel is correctly stated in the map, which means the road that leads to the hostel is wrong, one junction earlier than its supposed to be. But we are able to locate it in first trial. The room is clean and I think many will dislike the fact that both toilets and bathroom were insecure as it's only covered with one curtain each. Conclusion I recommend the hostel!

Cozy & Convenient”
I am always used to stay nearby BTS Payathai station as it is away from the crowded areas. Cloudy Hostel is one of the best choices! Rooms and bathrooms are both pretty clean; the atmosphere throughout whole building is just perfectly cozy. It is actually convenient to take different kinds of public transportation, including BTS, Airport Link, MRT. Most importantly, it just takes 10 minutes by BTS to my favourite ARI area.

Quiet place and good location!!”
It was my second time staying at Cloudy hostel. It’s quiet and clean. I’m a woman but I prefer to stay at mixed dorm, I think it more quiet and peaceful. If I go to Bangkok again, cloudy hostel is my first choice:)

Nice hostel and great location”
Cloudy hostel is very easy to find. it's near BTS - Phayathai and this station is connect with the Airport Rail Link also. You can walk by 2-3 mins from exit B. Hostel staffs are very nice. The room is very clean and comfortable. I have been stay in rooftop type it's great !! I love that view from my room.

Worth the money. Exceptional.”
I will definitely come back if I go to Bangkok next time. The location is so near Phaya Thai BTS and it is also near the other famous destinations in Bangkok. The hostel and the room we stayed are all clean and cozy. A bit dark in room but I don't mind. The hostel is located in a quiet place, easy to find. There is no lift so you will have to climb. The bathroom has a bit smelly and it is quite old. My friends also like this hostel, so I strongly recommend you to come here if you go to Bangkok.

i think cloudy hostel is a very good choice for solo travellers, because it has a good location and a nice interior design and a very competitive price and service. Because the staffs tread every guest as friends, but not only a customer. 7-11 and BTS phayathai station are just 100m away. You also can go to a local special BBQ and Hot pot buffet in the night and just need 159B for two or more friends. And in victory monument, you can take vans to floating market or train market, and you also can take bus 59 directly to grand palace.

exceed all expectations”
we are a group made up of two families with small kids and teenagers. none has stayed st backpackers hostel before. we booked the private room for 7 for 2 nights. We thought it would be a tight fit, what with our luggage and all, but we were pleasantly surprised our room is well organized that it fits all seven of us comfortably. staff were very helpful. check in is a breeze. There's also a microwave in the communal kitchen. Location is perfect. its just a five minute walk to phaya thai bts station. Also within walking distance to halal restaurants and Masjid Darul Aman. we also walked to Pratunam market and platinum mall. Siam Paragorn is only one stop away from phaya thai station. What more could you ask for? 😁

It is a nice and clean hostel, I've had a very comfortable stay with Cloudy. It's very near the BTS PhayaThai, only 1 minutes by walking. And all staffs were very friendly and helpful, I think it was the best choice for my stay with the good value. I'll be back soon!

Cosy room near BTS Phaya Thai station”
Our group of 3 stayed at Cloudy for 4 nights. The interior design was really nice. We stayed at the triple room with our own bathroom and balcony. The room itself was great and comfortable. The only down side was the room was not well-lit. There was no elevator which was quite hectic for luggage carrying especially for the day when we checked out where we had heavy luggage. The stairways to different levels were not ventilated so it was quite stuffy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it.
