Breakfast quite sumptuous and enough for one with slight change to daily menu which is thoughtful for group staying there for several nights.

Awesome stay at Clover City Center Plus!”
Truly enjoyed my stay at Clover City Center Plus Hotel! Every staff member that I met were so friendly and lovely. They also allowed us to check in earlier than the normal check-in time without any extra charge. The room was very spacious and clean as well. Bed was comfortable as well. Ordered room service once and the food was delicious! Location wise, it is directly behind Shangri-la Hotel, which is located in downtown Yangon. It's easy to get a taxi from there too, so traveling around Yangon was a breeze! Highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.
Centrally located hotel good for business traveler”
Even though pretty much almost all the hotels are overpriced in Yangon, Clover brand rips you off the least compared to the other hotels in Yangon. The Clover Plus is the newest addition to the Clover brand, so everything is nice and brand new. They even have key cards for room access instead of actual keys. I haven't seen other hotels in Yangon with this old technology. The room is reasonably sized and comfortable. The design is no-frill and modern. Nice flat screen and reliable wifi (as fast as it could be in Myanmar). The staff are very friendly. Things that the hotel should fix: 1. The shower area is not separated. So when you shower, the whole floor gets wet. It would be nice if they just build a little barrier and put up a shower curtain. 2. The taxis that the hotel staff hailed for us are overpriced. These are the taxis parked outside the hotel probably just waiting for tourists staying here. And it seems that the hotel staff know the drivers. Having been to Yangon every month this year, I know how much taxi fare should be. These taxis charged about double of what the fare should be and I called them out on it. Yet the hotel staff themselves were saying that this was reasonable fare when they should be protecting guests' interest. In any case, you will be better off walking a minute to the main street and get a cab yourself. I hope the hotel management fixes this. It's a small thing that leaves a bitter feeling for guests when everything else is almost perfect.
Best value for what you get in Yangon”
Clover City Center Plus was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Myanmar. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the interior of the hotel is designed well and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Wi-fi nternet also works quite well, which is definitely a bonus in Myanmar, and breakfast was definitely above average compared to comparably priced hotels in the city (although you should go early if you can to make sure it's still warm!). Overall, I think the Clover City Center Plus is the best value for what you can get at this level in Yangon. There aren't many amenities (no gym or pool, for example), but if you're just in town for business and just need a comfortable space to work and sleep, it's a great option.
Choose this hotel for the location”
The hotel is pretty average, but good value for money. The Clover City Center Plus is close by the original Clover City Center and rooms are modern. The hotel has an elevator, but to get there, you need to go one level up by stairs first. The staff is very friendly and happy to help proactively to bring you luggage up. Rooms are small, but have all you need. It was clean, and not expensive. Only downside is the sheets, they are synthetic, almost plastic, and I prefer natural fabrics. But it wasn't a real problem. The location is great, good coffeeshops and restaurants within walking distance, the area has a lot of new restaurants, and is really upcoming. Also the Sky-bar Yangon Yangon is 1 block away, within 5 minutes walking distance. Choose the place if you're looking for a good location to explore the city.
Dear Edwin, Thank you for choosing our hotel, and for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your accommodation. Our hotel aims to provide a truly unique experience, and we are thrilled that we were able to meet your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel in the future. Thanks & Best regards, Clover City Center Plus Hotel
Great location and friendly staff, value for money too!”
The best thing about Clover City Center Plus Hotel is its location - near to almost every place we wanted to go too! Yangon is great to visit on foot and this hotel places you right in the center. The staff were really helpful too - allowed an early check-in due to my morning flight, helped with finding transport to Bagan as well (very grateful for that). They missed out on informing me about having free breakfast although they left a coupon outside my door without informing me. So do take note of that. Would definitely return and also recommend anyone this hotel!
Very good Hotel in Yangon.”
This "Clover City Center Plus Hotel" is very nice in Yangon. I've been Yangon totaly 8 times since 2013. This hotel is very close to City hall and Junction City Mall and Bogyoke Market by walk for 5 min. Cheap and clean, very kind staffs. Recommend to this hotel for travelers and business man.
Very central to the heart of town”
Clover City Center Plus Hotel is within walking distance to Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandula Park, Colonial Yangon and the Railway Station. In my opinion, it is superbly located. The hotel is functional, with friendly, helpful staff.
Excellent rooms, friendly & professional staff”
Always happy to stay with Clover City hotels. My first time at this location, usually we stay at Clover City on Wingabar. Same quality of service & comfort. The location is great if you want to see downtown or do any shopping, however it's a bit more challenging to get a taxi to or from this location if you need to get to other parts of the city. Also only one elevator, which was a problem trying to leave around 11-12 (check out) and being on the 7th floor. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and most speak English quite well. We had a series of business meetings to attend, and the hotel helped arrange a taxi for the day and explained all the directions to our driver.
Great Price for Excellent Location/Quality/Staff”
Overall great stay here. Excellent location for price (other hotels seemed like more). Right next to Traders Hotel in the center of Yangon (convenient place to duck out for coffee/beer/internet/directions if you are dressed well). Plenty of cabs were always parked outside on the main road ($2 for rides to nearby places). I could also easily take 30 minute walks from this hotel to those same destinations. The staff was excellent - attentive, courteous (typical of Yangon, but here especially so). The hotel was clean and nice - I saw no bugs, the room was medium-sized (big enough), the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom nice. When I was delayed in Yangon a few extra days, I traded down to the less expensive, less central, with mildly less attentive staff - but still all quite nice - at the New Yangon Hotel on 9th Street.
Location! Location! Location!”
I stayed only 1 night for business trip to Yangon. Location was perfect as it near from sale pagoda, shagri-la hotel(Clover facing shangli-ra hotel's back side), bogyoke aung san market and the newly opened "KFC"!!! Room was clean but the air-con. need to be cleaned as some black dirt kept falling from the air-con. Staffs are very very polite and friendly and most of them are fluent in speaking English. you may hear what the other person do in the next room as the wall is just some stack of thin wood panel. But remember it's 3-star rated low priced hotel. It worth to stay.
Excellent serving attitude”
The other staff were friendly, but Cham was very helpful and friendly. On the last day of our visit to Yangon, Myanmar, it was pouring outside, and we had only 7000 kyats left. Cham went outside in the rain to help us hail a taxi. A few taxis came by, but none of them agreed to drive us to the airport for 7000 kyats. Until one came by, and Cham negotiated with him. And after he agreed to take us to the airport, Cham helped us to carry our luggage into the taxi. If we ever go back to Myanmar, we would go back to the Clover City Center Plus Hotel because of Cham.
Top location, and a very comfortable base for exploring Yangon.”
This is one of the Clover 'chain'. They have a sister property just 50 metres down the road, and one or two others in the northern burbs. The location is great, just off Sule Pagoda Road, close to almost everything, including the Pagoda itself, the train station and Yangon's very best noodle house, Aung Mingalar, on the corner of Bo Yar Nyunt and Nawaday. Shwe Dagon Pagoda is about 25 minutes on foot. We had all we needed, although we would have liked a window that opens for fresh air, instead of a sealed one. Air-con does NOT replace the oxygen you breathe at night! Slightly odd plumbing, with no hot supply to the hand basin, but the shower hose could be used to fill it for shaving etc, and the water from that was VERY hot. Also the 'wet room' bathroom, so the shower water runs across the floor making it always wet. Excellent front of house staff. If you want a useful base to explore Yangon, and for a sensible price, this is very good.
For some reason I like this basic and affordable hotel.”
I've been to Yangon several times. Have tried other hotels. But for the money and location Clover City can't be beat. Sure, it's quite basic and hardly any sense of luxury but the staff and all the rest make up for it. The location is excellent and there's much around the hotel. You get what you pay for and that's why I will return again.
Value of money”
It is very convenience hotel located right in the center of Yangon near Bogyoke Market by 10mins walking distance, near many restaurants and Ruby Supermarket. As it is located right in the center Of Yangon so the taxi fare will cost only 2000-3000 Kyats or USD 2.00 - 3.00 to most of the attraction places. It is highly recommend to visit Shwe Dagon Pagoda and take your buffet dinner at Karaweik Palace cost 20,000 Kyats or USD 20.00-25.00 this price including with the Myanmar Classical Dancing Show.
A friendly welcome to Myanmar”
This was the first place I stayed at in Myanmar after an international flight and after initially going to the wrong hotel (the Clover City Hotel - not the Plus version) I found it and it turned out to be well located for walking to the train station, Sule Pagoda and Shwedagon Pagoda (if you like a long walk). The only criticism would be that the restaurant menu was very limited and the food of a poor quality (whereas the breakfast was reasonable) so I'd recommend you don't stick around for food in the evening.
GREAT find”
I booked this hotel last minute and I was lucky enough to book the Clover PLUS hotel. There's another Clover City hotel thats not as nice next door. After having traveled for 3 weeks and having stayed at bad hotels with bad internet connection and poor cleanliness, this hotel was HEAVEN. Everything is modern, internet is solid, room is very clean, TV had plenty of channels, staff was great and helpful. Loved it.
Clean, Comfortable, Value for Money”
Clover City Center Plus has a great location; right in the city center; walking distance to Scotts Market, Sule Pagoda and the Railway station. A value for money hotel with clean, comfortable & spacious room. Staff & friendly & helpful. Wireless internet was good. Room 513's bathroom has a musty smell which didnt improve after our alerting housekeeping but 512 was great. Perhaps management shd really look into it
Cozy hotel in the middle of Downtown Yangon”
I stayed here 3 different times while traveling around Myanmar. Every time I stayed, the staff was kind, efficient, and helpful. The hotel itself is located in the middle of downtown Yangon and is a great starting point for exploring the city. It is located in a vibrant and energetic neighborhood, and the hotel itself was always quiet and peaceful. The juice stand next door has nice fresh juices. Highly recommend!
New Hotel next to Shangri-La”
The Clover City Center Plus Hotel is a new property in downtown Yangon which is well located along the main thoroughfare next to Shangri-La Hotel. It is within walking distance to the popular tourist attractions like Scotts Market, Mahabandoola Park, Supreme Court, to mention a few. This new accommodation option fits well to any type of budget. Highly recommended.
Superb location 👌🙌👍”
Though located on a small street (32nd Street), the hotel's location is very ideal. It's behind the super big hotel-shopping mall complex called Sule Shangrila Yangon and 3-5 minute walk to Junction City Mall on the left, where you can enjoy shopping and a slice of pizza from the Pizza Company. Across the street, at the crossroad on the right is the Sakura Tower, where you can find yourself chilling at the Yangon Yangon Skybar with 5000-kyat (~3.25usd) beer. About the hotel itself, my group totally enjoyed the spacious room and good breakfast which they serve local dish called Mohinga besides other stuffs that breakfast buffet usually has.
