Great Location ”

size of the rooms and the resort grouds

I really enjoyed our stay, the food and staff was great, we went to 2 resorts while on our 7 day stay, after I left Club Balai Isabel Hotel, I went to a beach resort... I was more please with the stay at Club Balai Isabel Hotel because of the size of the resort grounds. Bottom-line most of the beach resort grounds in batangas are way to small (almost felt like I was at a beach-house that how small the other resorts is. I prefer lake-side front (Club Balai Isabel Hotel) over beach-side front. do to the size of the resort more to do and your fill that your at a resort

"A Place With The Panoramic View of Taal Volcano" ”

The panoramic view of the Taal Volcano, their large swimming pool and their food

We checked-in at Club Balai Isabel to attend in our Cousin's Wedding. Upon our arrival in the resort, their staffs were very accommodating, greeted and serviced us with a smile. Our Cousin's Wedding Ceremony took place near Taal Lake with the panoramic view of the World's famous Taal Volcano as their back draft. We appreciated their beautiful Garden Reception at the boardwalk. Then we stayed at Sampaguita Manor small room yet clean. Generally Club Balai Isabel is a nice and beautiful place to stay for vacation far from the crowded and busy Metro Manila. We highly recommend Club Balai Isabel to our relatives and friends.

Cozy Getaway ”

We needed a fun, rested and romantic mini break that was perfect for a couple with a young child. Club Balai Isabel offered just what we wanted for our short getaway. We enjoyed the drive from Tanauan exit and also the drive home via Tagaytay / Sta.Rosa route. We enjoyed our stay very much and would consider staying there again. Fantastic view by the restaurant veranda. We had peaceful walks by the lake's shoreline and around the property. We tried all three pools. Buffet was also reasonably priced. And the food selection, though limited was great! Just wish we could have tried the pizzeria and the water park. We felt very much at home here. Thank you Club Balai Isabel!

Club Balai Isabel is one of the affordable and best resorts in Batangas that I've been too that is also worth the price.. Very accommodating staff.. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.. Free use of facilities (swimming pools, sports area, billiards/darts).. It has the view of Taal lake where you can enjoy the AquaPark and other water activities (with additional charges)..

Worth your money!”

The location is accessible by public transportation (from Manila). The front desk is quite slow, i guess because of the peak season, but they are friendly and helpful. We got upgraded into a more spacious room, which made our stay more enjoyable. It is clean, and linen and toiletries ate available. Amenities wise, There are 3 pools, which are all decent sizes and are clean/ well maintained. We didn’t get to try the inflatables due to time constraints but they seem to add more fun in the place. They also have E-cars which can help people to go around the place. Not much choices on the buffet breakfast but the available food are good enough. All in all, I recommend Club Balai Isabel, specially for big groups. It’s definitely worth your $!

Excellent”

Our stay in Club Balai Isabel was awesome. Though it's quite raining, we still had the chance to explore the place. The staff are very accommodating. Our room was fascinating, as expected. My kids enjoyed our stay. Although, the door in our room's veranda wasn't functioning well. We're kinda worried with our valuables inside our room. We expected that they have cakes on their dessert section, since we're not able to bring food inside for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, it's unavailable. Still, the facilities and the whole reception of Club Balai Isable is highly commendable. We'll definitely come back :)

Close Encounter to ztaal”

Club Balai Isabel is beautiful and worth visiting. The Aqua Park is a charming addition to the resort. Rooms are slightly outdated, although probably depends on the building/type of room availed. Our room’s bathroom shower also has low water pressure and no hot shower, so I preferred to shower in the bathrooms near the pool. Nevertheless, my family and I enjoyed our stay. Food in the Terraza resto is so good and affordable - try their Bulalo and Balai Lechon Liempo. Sufficient number of pools. Free shuttle service around the resort. I also thought I lost/left my passport in the resort and called them after we left, the Guest services Manager was accomodating courteous and willing to help. Overall, great trip!

Great view, nice facilities and friendly staff”

Club Balai Isabel boasts a great view of the Taal Volcano plus nice amenities such as their pools and aqua recreational facilities. We really enjoyed our stay especially the part when we get to see the lovely sunset while relaxing in their lounge chairs. The food is also good but you can also opt to eat outside the resort since the price range of the resto in Club Balai is a bit higher and the choices in the resto are limited.

Very nice place fronting the volcano. 2019”

This is a review of Club Balai in Feb.2019 months before the faithful explosion of Taal Volcano. This is a very nice inviting place and very accomodating with plenty of water and daily activities for young kids and adults alike. They have a big pool and a kiddie pool. Getting to the resort is very accessible thru secondary highways . The free breakfast was very good and have plenty of choices. I liked this place so much I took my family there twice in 2 years. But unfortunately the volcano left a devastating mess in the area. I am writing this review to give support to the locals in their times of distress and also to remember the beautiful sights and scenes of the Talisay area and hoping it will eventually get back to normal in the future. Overall score 5/5.

Perfect place for family bonding”

Overall, we had awesome time at the resort.. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The food at the terrazza were beyond our expectation. However, there are limited choices for ala cart when there is a buffet dinner. Keep in mind that not everyone is fond of buffet or are advised medically to limit their food intake. A few more choices on the ala cart would be nice. I would also like to mention that there are 3 staff at the restaurant that were commendable. Richard, Silvano and Jefte went out of their way in their service to us. All in all, our family had a wonderful time @ Club Balai Isabel.

A very close piece of paradise!”

The place is soooo awesome! I never thought id enjoy hanging out on a lake but club balai isabel changed all that! The aqua park is perfect though very tiring (that was just us). The room was good, furnishings can improve and the noise of water tank can be annoying. The food (ala carte) is a bit of a let down (sinigang and pakbet) but the buffet breakfast was excellent. But what made this stay so memorable is is the staff and how they made sure all are taken care of. Very courteous and detailed. Id definitely come back with the rest of my family soon!

Nice Place of Taal Volcano

my husband and i are celebrating our 8th yrs anniversary, since we want to celebrate it somewhere special, we started browsing the internet for the perfect getaway. we also wants to consider a child-friendly location since we are bringing with us our 2-yr old son. we saw the website of club balai isabel, and we were interested. we immediately made a reservation for a lakefront suite (agoncillo). we enjoy our stay in balai isabel, the food is pricey but its ok since the waiters are in good service.

Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. In my surprised, they waived our "early check in fee" since we arrived at the resort earlier than expected. Also, they upgraded our room to a bigger one. We're only two but our room has 3beds! 😂 The Taal Trekking Package is highly recommended especially if you are in big groups (we're only two when we avail this). The view from the resort is stunning! However the need some coastal clean up and some furniture/electrical maintenance in rooms. If you're a traveller and need a place to unwind, then try Club Balai Isabel! Definitely will come back with my family. 😊👍🏻

Numerous Activities, Great View”

Recreation, Food, View

Our stay at Balai Isabel was a good one. There are a number of activities to choose from. You can play basketball, badminton, volleyball, tennis, darts, billiards and other watersports. Don't expect much with the court as there is only one court for Tennis, Badminton & Volleyball. I didn't get the chance to check out their water sports facilities. They have 3 swimming pools. We checked out their biggest one but I don't think it's being maintained properly as it's not that clean. They do have another pool which they call Terraza Pool which is in a better condition compared to the big pool. I love their pizza at Isabel's which is thin crust and yummy :) Reasonable price as the pizza only cost around P240. Their staff are accommodating. We stayed at Sampaguita. The room is ok. It's clean, has cable, heater and ref. They are quite strict on the number of people coming in as it's being checked before you can enter the premises. Overall, I find the accommodation quite pricey though their edge for me is the number of activities you can do at Club Balai Isabel.

Great place to relax except some of the staff are not that welcoming. ”

The resort is clean and nature friendly. The ambiance is great. Pools are all clean and well-maintained but I hope the availability of the pool will be moved to an early time slot - from 8am to 7am. Super loved the room where we stayed - Superior Room with View. Very relaxing view! I also enjoyed biking around but I hope the management should look into improving the chapel area. Another thing’s the intenet connection. I hope you can do some ways to improve it. But overall, I give it a two thumbs up! Thank you, Club Balai Isabel!

I had a great time in Club Balai Isabel. The place was very accessible and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pools were very nice and well maintained. The food was great too! The only comment I have is for the Koi Ponds. Most koi ponds have a foul stench and had a lot of dead koi.. I think this needs to be attended more by the management. Overall, I had a very memorable experience and I look forward to going back there soon!

The resort is really great to unwind and reenergize. Perfect for quick getaways ”

Club Balai Isabel is the perfect place to spend your vacation. It's very close to Manila (2 hours travel time) and the staff are very warm and accommodating which really makes an impression since they are the first people tourists interact with. The place is magnificent for both adventurous-types and those who want a quick staycation. Will definitely recommend this to my peers.

Hotel that's close to Nature”

Pools and the Nature surrounding the resort

What I like about Club Balai Isabel is that they have a lot of fruit bearing trees which makes you closer to Nature. Aside from that, they have a church inside the resort where you can find solace and peace. Their pools are one of the attractions too because of their sizes and number. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Food, large pool and room view

Enjoyed our 2nd stay in Balai isabel. Got the Premium room which offers a superb view of the taal lake. Food was great:) All the staff were helpful, accomodating and has initiative. Too bad our building's elevator was not working at the time of our stay so we have to climb the 4 floors up which was really tiring. Nevertheless, rooms were clean and comfy. They have 3 pools so each pool doesn't get too.crowded. The area is also large so you can roam around after swimming.
